Toyota Prius plug-in verzija nudi kupcima dva automobila u jednom. Sofisticiran i potpun hibridni pogon koji postiže izuzetno malu emisiju od 1,3 l/100 km i 28 g/km CO2 (WLTP ciklus), a istovremeno pruža pravo, potpuno električno iskustvo u vožnji s dosegom na struju do 45 kilometara u svakodnevnim okolnostima s maksimalnom brzinom, naravno, na električni pogon od 135 km/h.
Izuzetno mala emisija i posebne mogućnosti u vožnji na struju koje nudi Prius plug-in rezultat su vrhunskih tehnologija jedinstvenih u ponudi Toyota modela. Prius plug-in opremljen je toplinskom pumpom koja koristi toplinu izvan automobila, što dovodi do povećanog stupnja efikasnosti u usporedbi s tradicionalnim grijačima koji generiraju toplinu iz motora ili za punjenje električnih grijača. Uz to, prilikom punjenja sustav grijanja baterija zagrijat će ćelije do efikasne radne temperature, što će omogućiti da se i snaga baterije i efikasnost održavaju na dovoljnoj razini da minimaliziraju utjecaj hladnog vremena na doseg prilikom vožnje na struju.
Novi Prius plug-in hybrid značajno je povećao funkcionalnost promjenom konfiguracije od dva stražnja sjedala na tri, uz visoku razinu udobnosti sada uključenih pet sjedala za putnike. Uz povećanje kapaciteta sjedenja, novi Prius plug-in hybrid podignuo je na višu razinu i opremu s potpuno crnim detaljima unutrašnjosti, koji su zamijenili postojeće bijele. Upotreba novih materijala također nudi osjećaj više razine kvalitete unutrašnjosti. Uza sva ova poboljšanja u unutrašnjosti, vanjski izgled također je unaprijeđen. Novi Prius Plug-in Hybrid bit će dostupan u novoj metalik crnoj boji "galaxy black" i s novim 17-inčnim aluminijskim naplatcima, koji su u ponudi kao opcija.
Konačno, veliki solarni panel koji generira elektricitet za napajanje hibridnog sustava baterija još uvijek ostaje jedinstven u ovom segmentu. Ovisno u vremenskim uvjetima, solarno punjenje može povećati doseg do pet kilometara dnevno, što je jednako otprilike 1000 kilometara potpuno električne vožnje godišnje (200 dana godišnje). Od njegova lansiranja u rujnu 2016. godine prodano je više od 1700 primjeraka Prius Plug-in hibrida sa solarnim panelom, što sada predstavlja otprilike 1,7 milijuna kilometara godišnje generiranih suncem.
Toyota Prius originalan je i svjetski priznat hibridni automobil, s tradicijom vodstva u visokotehnološkim inovacijama koja traje više od 20 godina.

Toyota Prius plug-in verzija nudi kupcima dva automobila u jednom. Sofisticiran i potpun hibridni pogon koji postiže izuzetno malu emisiju od 1,3 l/100 km i 28 g/km CO2 (WLTP ciklus), a istovremeno pruža pravo, potpuno električno iskustvo u vožnji s dosegom na struju do 45 kilometara u svakodnevnim okolnostima s maksimalnom brzinom, naravno, na električni pogon od 135 km/h.
Izuzetno mala emisija i posebne mogućnosti u vožnji na struju koje nudi Prius plug-in rezultat su vrhunskih tehnologija jedinstvenih u ponudi Toyota modela. Prius plug-in opremljen je toplinskom pumpom koja koristi toplinu izvan automobila, što dovodi do povećanog stupnja efikasnosti u usporedbi s tradicionalnim grijačima koji generiraju toplinu iz motora ili za punjenje električnih grijača. Uz to, prilikom punjenja sustav grijanja baterija zagrijat će ćelije do efikasne radne temperature, što će omogućiti da se i snaga baterije i efikasnost održavaju na dovoljnoj razini da minimaliziraju utjecaj hladnog vremena na doseg prilikom vožnje na struju.
Novi Prius plug-in hybrid značajno je povećao funkcionalnost promjenom konfiguracije od dva stražnja sjedala na tri, uz visoku razinu udobnosti sada uključenih pet sjedala za putnike. Uz povećanje kapaciteta sjedenja, novi Prius plug-in hybrid podignuo je na višu razinu i opremu s potpuno crnim detaljima unutrašnjosti, koji su zamijenili postojeće bijele. Upotreba novih materijala također nudi osjećaj više razine kvalitete unutrašnjosti. Uza sva ova poboljšanja u unutrašnjosti, vanjski izgled također je unaprijeđen. Novi Prius Plug-in Hybrid bit će dostupan u novoj metalik crnoj boji "galaxy black" i s novim 17-inčnim aluminijskim naplatcima, koji su u ponudi kao opcija.
Konačno, veliki solarni panel koji generira elektricitet za napajanje hibridnog sustava baterija još uvijek ostaje jedinstven u ovom segmentu. Ovisno u vremenskim uvjetima, solarno punjenje može povećati doseg do pet kilometara dnevno, što je jednako otprilike 1000 kilometara potpuno električne vožnje godišnje (200 dana godišnje). Od njegova lansiranja u rujnu 2016. godine prodano je više od 1700 primjeraka Prius Plug-in hibrida sa solarnim panelom, što sada predstavlja otprilike 1,7 milijuna kilometara godišnje generiranih suncem.
Toyota Prius originalan je i svjetski priznat hibridni automobil, s tradicijom vodstva u visokotehnološkim inovacijama koja traje više od 20 godina.
