Osiguravajuća društva sigurno će još povisivati premije na električne automobile, koje su u SAD već sada skuplje i za 27 posto u odnosu na konvencionalan automobil. Usto, s obzirom na kompleksnost baterijskog sklopa i za najmanja oštećenja, tek indicija da bi baterija mogla biti oštećena ili da ima grešku dovodi do toga da osiguravatelji proglašavaju "totalku" i kod najnovijih električnih vozila i ne šalju ih na popravak.

K tome osiguravatelji i mehaničari žale se da ne postoji jednostavan način za provjeru statusa baterija, što znači da se moraju potpuno ograditi kako se ne bi suočili s odgovornošću u slučaju budućih kvarova, ili nesretnih okolnosti zbog baterije, prenosi Reuters.

Sada osiguravatelji pozivaju proizvođače automobila da olakšaju pristup podacima i popravku baterija. Neki su odgovorili, a GM, Ford i Nissan tvrde da su razvili načine kako omogućiti popravke. GM je posebno istaknuo da su njihove najnovije Ultium baterije projektirane za popravak na razini modula što ih čini "znatno jeftinijim od zamjene cijelog paketa baterija" dodajući da će dopustiti pristup podacima o bateriji "trećim stranama".

Suradljivi i nesuradljivi proizvođači

Međutim, nisu svi proizvođači automobila spremni na takav ustupak. Tesla, najveći američki proizvođač električnih vozila, s druge strane trenutno ulaže u novu tehnologiju baterija s većim ćelijama koje su zalijepljene u paket. Prema riječima stručnjaka za automobile i savjetnika za popravke, stručnjaka iz SAD Sandyja Munroa, novi paket nema "nultu mogućnost popravka" dodajući da "se oštećeni Teslin strukturalni paket baterija ne popravlja."

To nije problem samo za vlasnike i osiguravatelje, već i za ekologiju. Osim što je najskuplji dio vozila, baterija je i najopasnija za okoliš.

"Broj takvih slučajeva će se povećati, tako da je situacija s baterijama ključna stvar", rekao je za Reuters Christoph Lauterwasser, direktor Allianzovog centra za tehnologiju.

"Ako otpišete električno vozilo u ranoj fazi, izgubili ste gotovo sve prednosti u pogledu emisije CO2", rekao je.

Kako bi električna vozila bila čišća od vozila s unutarnjim izgaranjem, moraju odvoziti puno kilometara kako bi njihova nulta emisija nadoknadila njihov veći ugljični otisak u proizvodnji. Uz to, s velikom količinom neiskorištenih baterija na otpadima koje se moraju posebno zbrinuti, prednosti tih električnih vozila potpuno gube smisao, a ona sama svrhu, piše Auto klub.

Osiguravajuća društva sigurno će još povisivati premije na električne automobile, koje su u SAD već sada skuplje i za 27 posto u odnosu na konvencionalan automobil. Usto, s obzirom na kompleksnost baterijskog sklopa i za najmanja oštećenja, tek indicija da bi baterija mogla biti oštećena ili da ima grešku dovodi do toga da osiguravatelji proglašavaju "totalku" i kod najnovijih električnih vozila i ne šalju ih na popravak.

K tome osiguravatelji i mehaničari žale se da ne postoji jednostavan način za provjeru statusa baterija, što znači da se moraju potpuno ograditi kako se ne bi suočili s odgovornošću u slučaju budućih kvarova, ili nesretnih okolnosti zbog baterije, prenosi Reuters.

Sada osiguravatelji pozivaju proizvođače automobila da olakšaju pristup podacima i popravku baterija. Neki su odgovorili, a GM, Ford i Nissan tvrde da su razvili načine kako omogućiti popravke. GM je posebno istaknuo da su njihove najnovije Ultium baterije projektirane za popravak na razini modula što ih čini "znatno jeftinijim od zamjene cijelog paketa baterija" dodajući da će dopustiti pristup podacima o bateriji "trećim stranama".

Suradljivi i nesuradljivi proizvođači

Međutim, nisu svi proizvođači automobila spremni na takav ustupak. Tesla, najveći američki proizvođač električnih vozila, s druge strane trenutno ulaže u novu tehnologiju baterija s većim ćelijama koje su zalijepljene u paket. Prema riječima stručnjaka za automobile i savjetnika za popravke, stručnjaka iz SAD Sandyja Munroa, novi paket nema "nultu mogućnost popravka" dodajući da "se oštećeni Teslin strukturalni paket baterija ne popravlja."

To nije problem samo za vlasnike i osiguravatelje, već i za ekologiju. Osim što je najskuplji dio vozila, baterija je i najopasnija za okoliš.

"Broj takvih slučajeva će se povećati, tako da je situacija s baterijama ključna stvar", rekao je za Reuters Christoph Lauterwasser, direktor Allianzovog centra za tehnologiju.

"Ako otpišete električno vozilo u ranoj fazi, izgubili ste gotovo sve prednosti u pogledu emisije CO2", rekao je.

Kako bi električna vozila bila čišća od vozila s unutarnjim izgaranjem, moraju odvoziti puno kilometara kako bi njihova nulta emisija nadoknadila njihov veći ugljični otisak u proizvodnji. Uz to, s velikom količinom neiskorištenih baterija na otpadima koje se moraju posebno zbrinuti, prednosti tih električnih vozila potpuno gube smisao, a ona sama svrhu, piše Auto klub.
