Recikliranje baterija za električne automobile ključno je za stvaranje ekološki prihvatljivijih vozila, ali ono što se čini očiglednim putem usporavaju problemi poput nedostatka sirovina i koordinacije.

Nažalost, rješenje nije blizu, kažu stručnjaci koji krive nedostatak standarda, zbog čega je recikliranje previše komplicirano. Također kažu da još nema dovoljno odbačenih električnih automobila da bi se osigurale potrebne baterije za ponovnu višekratnu upotrebu.

Berlinski Öko-Institut procjenjuje količinu baterija u opticaju u električnim automobilima na oko 100.000 tona godišnje. Za deset godina ta će brojka iznositi milijun tona. Te baterije mogu pružiti do 80 posto svog izvornog kapaciteta kada se prenamijene, a trenutni fokus industrije je na smanjenju troškova i povećanju prinosa od recikliranja.

U usporedbi s tim ciljevima, planovi recikliranja velikih proizvođača automobila zvuče vrlo skromno. Volkswagen već dvije godine testira procese u svojoj tvornici u Salzgitteru i tamo želi postići godišnje kapacitete recikliranja od 1500 tona. Mercedes-Benz, zajedno s tvornicom za recikliranje baterija Primobius, trenutno gradi tvornicu u Kuppenheimu u Baden-Wuerttembergu s kapacitetom od 2500 tona.

Budući da će baterije koje se trenutno ugrađuju u električne automobile još neko vrijeme biti u uporabi, proizvođači ne očekuju veći broj povrata baterija do kraja desetljeća. Štoviše, te baterije će prvo dobiti drugi život kao stacionarne jedinice za pohranu energije. Dok baterije iz vozila ne dođu do kraja vijeka trajanja, baterije iz testnih vozila i prototipova bit će reciklirane.

Nedostatak standardizacije također sprječava masovno rastavljanje jer se dizajn baterijskih ćelija razlikuje od proizvođača do proizvođača. Veliki izazov za budućnost je automatizirati takav proces. Mercedes s tim želi krenuti ove godine, barem što se rastavljanja tiče.

Recikliranje baterija za električne automobile ključno je za stvaranje ekološki prihvatljivijih vozila, ali ono što se čini očiglednim putem usporavaju problemi poput nedostatka sirovina i koordinacije.

Nažalost, rješenje nije blizu, kažu stručnjaci koji krive nedostatak standarda, zbog čega je recikliranje previše komplicirano. Također kažu da još nema dovoljno odbačenih električnih automobila da bi se osigurale potrebne baterije za ponovnu višekratnu upotrebu.

Berlinski Öko-Institut procjenjuje količinu baterija u opticaju u električnim automobilima na oko 100.000 tona godišnje. Za deset godina ta će brojka iznositi milijun tona. Te baterije mogu pružiti do 80 posto svog izvornog kapaciteta kada se prenamijene, a trenutni fokus industrije je na smanjenju troškova i povećanju prinosa od recikliranja.

U usporedbi s tim ciljevima, planovi recikliranja velikih proizvođača automobila zvuče vrlo skromno. Volkswagen već dvije godine testira procese u svojoj tvornici u Salzgitteru i tamo želi postići godišnje kapacitete recikliranja od 1500 tona. Mercedes-Benz, zajedno s tvornicom za recikliranje baterija Primobius, trenutno gradi tvornicu u Kuppenheimu u Baden-Wuerttembergu s kapacitetom od 2500 tona.

Budući da će baterije koje se trenutno ugrađuju u električne automobile još neko vrijeme biti u uporabi, proizvođači ne očekuju veći broj povrata baterija do kraja desetljeća. Štoviše, te baterije će prvo dobiti drugi život kao stacionarne jedinice za pohranu energije. Dok baterije iz vozila ne dođu do kraja vijeka trajanja, baterije iz testnih vozila i prototipova bit će reciklirane.

Nedostatak standardizacije također sprječava masovno rastavljanje jer se dizajn baterijskih ćelija razlikuje od proizvođača do proizvođača. Veliki izazov za budućnost je automatizirati takav proces. Mercedes s tim želi krenuti ove godine, barem što se rastavljanja tiče.

Još nema učinkovitog zbrinjavanja baterija: recikliranje je ključ za stvaranje ekovozila

Recikliranje baterija za električne automobile ključno je za stvaranje ekološki prihvatljivijih vozila, ali ono što se čini očiglednim putem usporavaju problemi poput nedostatka sirovina i koordinacije.

Nažalost, rješenje nije blizu, kažu stručnjaci koji krive nedostatak standarda, zbog čega je recikliranje previše komplicirano. Također kažu da još nema dovoljno odbačenih električnih automobila da bi se osigurale potrebne baterije za ponovnu višekratnu upotrebu.

Berlinski Öko-Institut procjenjuje količinu baterija u opticaju u električnim automobilima na oko 100.000 tona godišnje. Za deset godina ta će brojka iznositi milijun tona. Te baterije mogu pružiti do 80 posto svog izvornog kapaciteta kada se prenamijene, a trenutni fokus industrije je na smanjenju troškova i pov...
