Policija grada New Yorka napokon je stala na kraj vozaču koji je u stilu Jamesa Bonda godinama uspješno izbjegavao plaćanje cestarina, piše Auto Klub. 

Vozač BMW-a, Lequincy Anderson, priveden je petak nakon što je prošao naplatu na mostu George Washington. Kada je prošao rampu, policija je vidjela da se njegova registarska oznaka uopće ne vidi pa su zaustavili promet, piše NewYorkPost.

Policija je zatim objavila da je vozač koristio uređaj za skrivanje registarske pločice.

Pritiskom na prekidač u kabini, vozač je sakrio registarske pločice pomoću poklopca i tako uspješno izbjegavao kamere.

Policija je navela da cijela registarska pločica, uključujući brojeve, mora biti jasno vidljiva u svakom trenutku, a pogled na registraciju ne smije biti zaklonjen.

Anderson je imao 292 potvrđena neplaćena prekršaja, a ukupno će morati platiti gotovo 20.000 dolara.

Ovo je samo jedan u nizu uhvaćenih vozača. Naime, policija je nedavno pokrenula veliku akciju protiv vozača koji izbjegavaju plaćanje cestarine, što je dovelo do povrata više od 25 milijuna dolara neplaćenih cestarina u 2023.

To predstavlja povećanje od 14 posto u usporedbi s prethodnom godinom.

Policija grada New Yorka napokon je stala na kraj vozaču koji je u stilu Jamesa Bonda godinama uspješno izbjegavao plaćanje cestarina, piše Auto Klub. 

Vozač BMW-a, Lequincy Anderson, priveden je petak nakon što je prošao naplatu na mostu George Washington. Kada je prošao rampu, policija je vidjela da se njegova registarska oznaka uopće ne vidi pa su zaustavili promet, piše NewYorkPost.

Policija je zatim objavila da je vozač koristio uređaj za skrivanje registarske pločice.

Pritiskom na prekidač u kabini, vozač je sakrio registarske pločice pomoću poklopca i tako uspješno izbjegavao kamere.

Policija je navela da cijela registarska pločica, uključujući brojeve, mora biti jasno vidljiva u svakom trenutku, a pogled na registraciju ne smije biti zaklonjen.

Anderson je imao 292 potvrđena neplaćena prekršaja, a ukupno će morati platiti gotovo 20.000 dolara.

Ovo je samo jedan u nizu uhvaćenih vozača. Naime, policija je nedavno pokrenula veliku akciju protiv vozača koji izbjegavaju plaćanje cestarine, što je dovelo do povrata više od 25 milijuna dolara neplaćenih cestarina u 2023.

To predstavlja povećanje od 14 posto u usporedbi s prethodnom godinom.

Dobio 292 kazne: Policija uhvatila vozača BMW-a koji je godinama izbjegavao plaćanje cestarine

Policija grada New Yorka napokon je stala na kraj vozaču koji je u stilu Jamesa Bonda godinama uspješno izbjegavao plaćanje cestarina, piše Auto Klub. 

Vozač BMW-a, Lequincy Anderson, priveden je petak nakon što je prošao naplatu na mostu George Washington. Kada je prošao rampu, policija je vidjela da se njegova registarska oznaka uopće ne vidi pa su zaustavili promet, piše NewYorkPost.

Policija je zatim objavila da je vozač koristio uređaj za skrivanje registarske pločice.

Pritiskom na prekidač u kabini, vozač je sakrio registarske pločice pomoću poklopca i tako uspješno izbjegavao kamere.

Policija je navela da cijela registarska pločica, uključujući brojeve, mora biti jasno vidljiva u svakom trenutku, a pogled na registraciju ne smije biti zaklonjen.

Anderson je imao 292 potvrđena neplaćena prekršaja, a ukupno će morati platiti gotovo 20.000 dolara.

Ovo je samo jedan u nizu uhvaćenih vozača. Naime, policija je nedavno pokrenula veliku akciju protiv vozača koji izbjegavaju plaćanje cestarine, što je dovelo do povrata više od 25 milijuna dolara neplaćenih cestarina u 2023.

To predstavlja povećanje od 14 posto u usporedbi s prethodnom godinom.
