Filmski automobili popularni su modeli na automobilskoj sceni, a kad nemate originalno vozilo dobra je i kopija. Vlasti često, međutim, imaju drugačiji pogled na modifikacije koje nisu sasvim prikladne za korištenje na cesti. Upravo to se dogodilo kada se jedan Australac pojavio u u Queenslandu s replikom vozila iz filma "Pobješnjeli Max".
Obožavatelji "Mad Maxa" (1979.) u legendarnom V8 vide ikonu. Glavni junak filma, bivši policajac Max Rockatansky, poznat je kao osvetnik za volanom svog Pursuit Speciala, modificiranog Forda XY Falcon Coupea, piše HAK Revija.

Australac Rod Coverdale zavolio je filmski automobil i još 2009. godine krenuo je konstuirati repliku. Njegov primjerak, s klasičnim kompresorom koji se uzdiže iz poklopca motora, toliko je bio dobar da ga je tvorac filmskog automobila Murray Smith proglasio najboljom replikom u Australiji.
No nakon preseljenja u drugu australsku državu, Queensland, Coverdale je otkrio da lokalne vlasti nisu veliki obožavatelji njegovih modifikacija. Policija je kao glavni problem istaknula kompresor što viri iz haube koji znači opasnost po pješake, kao i plavo svjetlo u automobilu, što je boja rezervirana za hitne službe u Australiji.

Policija je izdala obavijest o nepravilnosti i zahtijevala da se vozilo vrati u stanje koje je u skladu s pravilima prije nego što mu se ponovno dopusti da se vozi na cesti. Problem je i ispuh na bočnim stranama. Odnosno, ispušne cijevi postaju vruće te mogu opeći prolaznike.
Prema Coverdaleovim komentarima, on je bez problema vozio automobil 12 godina u australskoj državi Sjevernom teritoriju. Vodio ga je po posebnoj klupskoj registraciji i vozio samo na posebne događaje, a policija ga je zaustavljala tek kako bi se policajci mogli fotografirati s automobilom. Jednom prilikom, kaže, čak su ga zamolili da s vozilom prisustvuje svečanoj dodjeli diploma policije. Nažalost, sve to mu ipak nije pomoglo u Queenslandu, piše HAK Revija.

Filmski automobili popularni su modeli na automobilskoj sceni, a kad nemate originalno vozilo dobra je i kopija. Vlasti često, međutim, imaju drugačiji pogled na modifikacije koje nisu sasvim prikladne za korištenje na cesti. Upravo to se dogodilo kada se jedan Australac pojavio u u Queenslandu s replikom vozila iz filma "Pobješnjeli Max".
Obožavatelji "Mad Maxa" (1979.) u legendarnom V8 vide ikonu. Glavni junak filma, bivši policajac Max Rockatansky, poznat je kao osvetnik za volanom svog Pursuit Speciala, modificiranog Forda XY Falcon Coupea, piše HAK Revija.

Australac Rod Coverdale zavolio je filmski automobil i još 2009. godine krenuo je konstuirati repliku. Njegov primjerak, s klasičnim kompresorom koji se uzdiže iz poklopca motora, toliko je bio dobar da ga je tvorac filmskog automobila Murray Smith proglasio najboljom replikom u Australiji.
No nakon preseljenja u drugu australsku državu, Queensland, Coverdale je otkrio da lokalne vlasti nisu veliki obožavatelji njegovih modifikacija. Policija je kao glavni problem istaknula kompresor što viri iz haube koji znači opasnost po pješake, kao i plavo svjetlo u automobilu, što je boja rezervirana za hitne službe u Australiji.

Policija je izdala obavijest o nepravilnosti i zahtijevala da se vozilo vrati u stanje koje je u skladu s pravilima prije nego što mu se ponovno dopusti da se vozi na cesti. Problem je i ispuh na bočnim stranama. Odnosno, ispušne cijevi postaju vruće te mogu opeći prolaznike.
Prema Coverdaleovim komentarima, on je bez problema vozio automobil 12 godina u australskoj državi Sjevernom teritoriju. Vodio ga je po posebnoj klupskoj registraciji i vozio samo na posebne događaje, a policija ga je zaustavljala tek kako bi se policajci mogli fotografirati s automobilom. Jednom prilikom, kaže, čak su ga zamolili da s vozilom prisustvuje svečanoj dodjeli diploma policije. Nažalost, sve to mu ipak nije pomoglo u Queenslandu, piše HAK Revija.
