Ovoga četvrtka, 27. travnja u 19 sati, u splitskoj Galeriji škola otvara se izložba ‘Slobodne aktivnosti‘ Damira Ercegovića.

Izložba je retrospektivnog karaktera te predstavlja suradnju Galerije Škola i Festivala strip kulture Comicator, naime, dio je prvog dana programa Comicatora.

Damir Ercegović već tri desetljeća djeluje na regionalnoj strip sceni, što kao crtač, što kao scenarist. Izložba donosi više od 40 autorovih tabli stripa.

‘Vrijeme kada je Ercegović započeo svoj rad na stripu, bilo je vrijeme snažnijeg kulturnog i društvenog interesa za strip, kako unutar njegovog „prirodnog“ staništa, medija novina ili časopisa, tako i izvan tog miljea, unutar tadašnjih galerijskih krugova. Danas je pak, u Hrvatskoj tržište stripa relativno skromno, usprkos djelovanju pojedinih istaknutih, kvalitetnih izdavača.

Ipak, usprkos otežanoj isplativosti bavljenja autorskim stripom, kod nas djeluje mnoštvo kvalitetnih autora. Među njima je splitsko – solinska skupina zanimljivih ilustratora i kvalitetnih crtača, među kojima je i Ercegović.

U svojim radovima Ercegović pokazuje umjeće naracije crtežom i promišljanje likovnih karaktera strip junaka. Pod nazivom „Slobodne aktivnosti“ objedinjene su njegove table posvećene hvarskome super-junaku Lavandermanu, nastale u suradnji sa tekstopiscem Tonijem Bobanovićem, a objavljene u razdoblju 2015. – 2021. godine, kao i autorski kratki, tematski nepovezani stripovi, koji su objavljeni u raznim strip-revijama i fanzinima, a odlikuje ih klasični crtački pristup, snažna naracija, humor, društvena osvještenost i pametna ironija‘, napisala je o Ercegoviću i njegovom radu Ivana Prijatelj Pavičić.

O autoru

Damir Ercegović diplomirao je na Umjetničkoj akademiji u Splitu kao profesor likovne kulture i restaurator.

Rođen je 1968. godine u Trogiru. Tijekom studija počinje s objavljivanjem stripova i ilustracija u profesionalnom i studentskom tisku te fanzinima.

Stripove je objavljivao u strip revijama Stripburger, Striporama, Q strip i drugi, a 2001. godine objavio je autorski strip album „Priče za laku noć“.

Sudjelovao kao crtač na projektu Lavanderman, scenarista i izdavača Tonija Bobanovića te je izlagao na brojnim izložbama i strip festivalima u zemlji i inozemstvu, izdvojimo „Stoljeće splitskog stripa“, MKC Split (2007.), Internationale Comix Festival, Luzern, Švicarska (2002., 2003., 2004.), Izložba „Hrvatski strip 90-ih“, SKC, Beograd, Srbija (2003.), Međunarodni festival stripa Crtani romani show, Zagreb (1998., 2000., 2001., 2003.) te Salon stripa, Vinkovci (1995., 1007.)

Galerija škola

Prostor Galerije Škola nalazi se u neposrednoj blizini Škole likovnih umjetnosti, na adresi Fausta Vrančića 15.

Programom koji se odvija u ovom prostoru cilj nam je povezati populaciju škole, studentskog kampusa, lokalno stanovništvo kao i širu javnost s ciljem stvaranja prostora dijaloga između obrazovanja, suvremenih umjetničkih praksi i kritičke teorije.

Ovoga četvrtka, 27. travnja u 19 sati, u splitskoj Galeriji škola otvara se izložba ‘Slobodne aktivnosti‘ Damira Ercegovića.

Izložba je retrospektivnog karaktera te predstavlja suradnju Galerije Škola i Festivala strip kulture Comicator, naime, dio je prvog dana programa Comicatora.

Damir Ercegović već tri desetljeća djeluje na regionalnoj strip sceni, što kao crtač, što kao scenarist. Izložba donosi više od 40 autorovih tabli stripa.

‘Vrijeme kada je Ercegović započeo svoj rad na stripu, bilo je vrijeme snažnijeg kulturnog i društvenog interesa za strip, kako unutar njegovog „prirodnog“ staništa, medija novina ili časopisa, tako i izvan tog miljea, unutar tadašnjih galerijskih krugova. Danas je pak, u Hrvatskoj tržište stripa relativno skromno, usprkos djelovanju pojedinih istaknutih, kvalitetnih izdavača.

Ipak, usprkos otežanoj isplativosti bavljenja autorskim stripom, kod nas djeluje mnoštvo kvalitetnih autora. Među njima je splitsko – solinska skupina zanimljivih ilustratora i kvalitetnih crtača, među kojima je i Ercegović.

U svojim radovima Ercegović pokazuje umjeće naracije crtežom i promišljanje likovnih karaktera strip junaka. Pod nazivom „Slobodne aktivnosti“ objedinjene su njegove table posvećene hvarskome super-junaku Lavandermanu, nastale u suradnji sa tekstopiscem Tonijem Bobanovićem, a objavljene u razdoblju 2015. – 2021. godine, kao i autorski kratki, tematski nepovezani stripovi, koji su objavljeni u raznim strip-revijama i fanzinima, a odlikuje ih klasični crtački pristup, snažna naracija, humor, društvena osvještenost i pametna ironija‘, napisala je o Ercegoviću i njegovom radu Ivana Prijatelj Pavičić.

O autoru

Damir Ercegović diplomirao je na Umjetničkoj akademiji u Splitu kao profesor likovne kulture i restaurator.

Rođen je 1968. godine u Trogiru. Tijekom studija počinje s objavljivanjem stripova i ilustracija u profesionalnom i studentskom tisku te fanzinima.

Stripove je objavljivao u strip revijama Stripburger, Striporama, Q strip i drugi, a 2001. godine objavio je autorski strip album „Priče za laku noć“.

Sudjelovao kao crtač na projektu Lavanderman, scenarista i izdavača Tonija Bobanovića te je izlagao na brojnim izložbama i strip festivalima u zemlji i inozemstvu, izdvojimo „Stoljeće splitskog stripa“, MKC Split (2007.), Internationale Comix Festival, Luzern, Švicarska (2002., 2003., 2004.), Izložba „Hrvatski strip 90-ih“, SKC, Beograd, Srbija (2003.), Međunarodni festival stripa Crtani romani show, Zagreb (1998., 2000., 2001., 2003.) te Salon stripa, Vinkovci (1995., 1007.)

Galerija škola

Prostor Galerije Škola nalazi se u neposrednoj blizini Škole likovnih umjetnosti, na adresi Fausta Vrančića 15.

Programom koji se odvija u ovom prostoru cilj nam je povezati populaciju škole, studentskog kampusa, lokalno stanovništvo kao i širu javnost s ciljem stvaranja prostora dijaloga između obrazovanja, suvremenih umjetničkih praksi i kritičke teorije.
