Ministar kulture Republike Hrvatske Božo Biškupić otvorio je danas na Zagrebačkom velesajmu u Zagrebu 31. međunarodni sajam knjiga i učila "Interliber" te 4. sajam glazbe i multimedije.
Biškupić je napomenuo kako će idućih pet dana mogućnosti sajma iskoristit za promociju velik broj nakladnika, pisaca, književnih kritičara, znanstvenika i publicista.
- Oni će posjetiteljima otvoriti mogućnost za neposredno upoznavanje s novijim strujama i događajima na domaćoj i svjetskoj književnoj pozornici - rekao je dodavši kako to potvrđuje status Interlibera kao manifestacije od iznimne kulturne važnosti.
Ocijenio je kako je izbor Izraela kao ovogodišnje zemlje partnera na sajmu upućuje na proširivanje kulturnih interesa s ciljem uklapanja Hrvatske u kontekst književnih zemljovida i u transkontinentalne i globalne tokove.
- Vjerujem da će ovaj izbor pridonijeti uspostavi novih partnerstava i suradnje na literarnom području između naših zemalja - rekao Biškupić.
Podsjetio je također kako je za knjigu i promidžbu čitanja u Ministarstvu proračun od 64 miljuna kuna te dodao kako se od te svote novca podupire književno stavralaštvo kroz tzv. stipendiranje pisaca.
Dodao je kako bi napokon trebalo ukloniti zapreke oko primjene sporazuma o jedinstvenoj cijeni knjige.
Govoreći u ime zemlje gosta izvanredni i opunomoćeni veleposlanik Države Izrael u Hrvatskoj Shmuel Meirom je podsjetio kako se u Izraelu godišnje objavi 4 tisuće novih naslova.
- Izrael je narod knjige, a Biblija je najveći bestseler u povijesti - rekao je podsjetivši na raznolikost suvremene izraelske književnosti.
Direktorica Zagrebačkoga velesajma Katja Kovačić napomenula je kako će se na ovogodišnjem "Interliberu" predstavit 290 izlagača, od čega 206 domaćih i 84 inozemna.
Dodala je kako će na 15.600 četvornih metara izložbenog prostora, svoje knjige predstaviti izlagači iz Austrije, Belgije, BiH, Crne Gore, Irana, Izraela, Njemačke, Poljske, SAD-a, Srbije, Španjolske i Velike Britanije.
Međunarodni sajam knjiga Interliber i Sajam glazbe i multimedije otvoreni su do 16. studenog.

Ministar kulture Republike Hrvatske Božo Biškupić otvorio je danas na Zagrebačkom velesajmu u Zagrebu 31. međunarodni sajam knjiga i učila "Interliber" te 4. sajam glazbe i multimedije.
Biškupić je napomenuo kako će idućih pet dana mogućnosti sajma iskoristit za promociju velik broj nakladnika, pisaca, književnih kritičara, znanstvenika i publicista.
- Oni će posjetiteljima otvoriti mogućnost za neposredno upoznavanje s novijim strujama i događajima na domaćoj i svjetskoj književnoj pozornici - rekao je dodavši kako to potvrđuje status Interlibera kao manifestacije od iznimne kulturne važnosti.
Ocijenio je kako je izbor Izraela kao ovogodišnje zemlje partnera na sajmu upućuje na proširivanje kulturnih interesa s ciljem uklapanja Hrvatske u kontekst književnih zemljovida i u transkontinentalne i globalne tokove.
- Vjerujem da će ovaj izbor pridonijeti uspostavi novih partnerstava i suradnje na literarnom području između naših zemalja - rekao Biškupić.
Podsjetio je također kako je za knjigu i promidžbu čitanja u Ministarstvu proračun od 64 miljuna kuna te dodao kako se od te svote novca podupire književno stavralaštvo kroz tzv. stipendiranje pisaca.
Dodao je kako bi napokon trebalo ukloniti zapreke oko primjene sporazuma o jedinstvenoj cijeni knjige.
Govoreći u ime zemlje gosta izvanredni i opunomoćeni veleposlanik Države Izrael u Hrvatskoj Shmuel Meirom je podsjetio kako se u Izraelu godišnje objavi 4 tisuće novih naslova.
- Izrael je narod knjige, a Biblija je najveći bestseler u povijesti - rekao je podsjetivši na raznolikost suvremene izraelske književnosti.
Direktorica Zagrebačkoga velesajma Katja Kovačić napomenula je kako će se na ovogodišnjem "Interliberu" predstavit 290 izlagača, od čega 206 domaćih i 84 inozemna.
Dodala je kako će na 15.600 četvornih metara izložbenog prostora, svoje knjige predstaviti izlagači iz Austrije, Belgije, BiH, Crne Gore, Irana, Izraela, Njemačke, Poljske, SAD-a, Srbije, Španjolske i Velike Britanije.
Međunarodni sajam knjiga Interliber i Sajam glazbe i multimedije otvoreni su do 16. studenog.
