Almissa Open Art festival koji već jedanaestu godinu u Omiš dovodi najrelevantnije hrvatske i međunarodne umjetnike otvoren je u gradu na Cetini.

Ovogodišnja tema je Hitnost/Emergency koju je osmislila ovogodišnja kustosica, multimedijalna umjetnica Neli Ružić. Program koji traje šest dana vrlo je intenzivan, a sadašnja epidemiološka situacija ovom festivalu nije odmogla, naprotiv, program je vrlo dobro iskoristio javne površina kao prostor zajednice. Pozvani umjetnici reagirali su na ovogodišnju korona krizu i njihovi radovi pozivaju na budnost i kritiku tehnološkog nadzora.

Poziv na hitnost

Prvi rad u službenom programu mogao se vidjeti u petak navečer u Gradskom muzeju Omiš, a radi se o video instalaciji meksičke umjetnice Ale del la Puente, koji prikazuje pješčani sat snimljen u bestežinskom stanju. Ovaj rad čini mjerenje vremena bespredmetnim i kao takav je po mišljenju kustosice bio važan za otvorenje festivala koji nas poziva na hitnost djelovanja. Međutim, to nije bio prvi rad koji je predstavljen na ovogodišnjoj Almissi. Na ulazu u Omiš prije nekoliko dana postavljen je jumbo plakat autora Thierry Geoffroya „The Emergency Will Replace The Contemporary" iz 2016. godine, odnosno „Hitnost će zamijeniti suvremenost", a time se autor obraća suvremenoj umjetničkoj sceni, upozoravajući da je važna hitna reakcija na našu stvarnost.

Na dan otvorenja izveden je performans Zorana Pavelića naslovljen Almissa Emergency, 2020. Službeni kombi Hrvatske udruge likovnih umjetnika pretvoren je u kola hitne pomoći iz kojih umjetnik megafonom odašilje poruku: „Nitko nije siguran!" na četrdesetak svjetskih jezika, obraćajući se tako publici i turistima.

Na glavnoj gradskoj ulici, Fošalu, na pročelju privatne stambene zgrade postavljena je svjetlosna intervencija Ane Elizabet. Neonski natpis pitanjem „Dišeš?" uspostavlja direktni dijalog s prolaznicima, na osobnoj razini. Rad nastao 2012. u ovogodišnjoj globalnoj situaciji dobiva brojne mogućnosti novih značenja.

Posljednji rad prve večeri festivala je video rad Adriana Pacija „Centro di permanenza temporanea" prikazan u crkvi Sv. Duha, u kojem autor stvara ikoničku sliku migranata zaustavljenih u međuprostoru, koji na stepenicama za ukrcaj na avion čekaju avion kojeg nema.

Drugi dan festivala, u subotu, počeo je radom Božene Končić Badurine koji je postavljen na oglasna mjesta u glavnoj ulici, a radi se o plakatima velikih dimenzija na kojima su fotografije iz mladosti starijih stanovnika Omiša. Naime, umjetnica u dijalogu s Omišanima, bavi se pozicijom jedne od najranjivijih društvenih skupina, osoba starije životne dobi, "skrećući pažnju na potrebu jačanja međugeneracijskih veza i solidarnosti kao nužnih preduvjeta razvoja zajednice", kako kaže sama autorica. Ova intervencija u javnom prostoru izazvao veliki interes lokalnog stanovništva i približilo strategije suvremene umjetnosti široj publici.

Nadzor sebe samoga

Splitski umjetnik Toni Meštrović izveo je osmosatni performans „Samokontrola" u bunkeru iz drugog svjetskog rata. Bunker se nalazi na tvrđavi Mirabeli kako bi nadzirao kretanje na strateškoj poziciji bivšeg mosta koji je povezivao dvije obale rijeke Cetine. Umjetnik je performativnim činom nadzirao samoga sebe preko CCTV kamere i ekrana u trajanju osam satnog radnog vremena. Time je umjetnik preispitivao poziciju umjetnika u odnosu na pojam zaposlenja u suvremenom društvu. Meštrović postavlja pitanja: Što je to radno vrijeme umjetnika i koliko ono traje, kako se vrednuje i koliko cijeni, da li je uopće bitan umjetnički rad? Meštrović istovremeno propituje sustave nadzora i kontrole ljudi, ograničenja slobode pod izgovorom sigurnosti za koje se suvremena tehnologija danas koristi.

Zadnji rad druge večeri Almisse bila je izvedba Kate Mijatović naslovljena „Ovdje i sada".

Tijekom vožnje ambulantnim kolima koja su okosnica zajedničkog rada i ove umjetnice i Zorana Pavelića, Kata Mijatović u performativnoj intervenciji, uz pomoć megafona čitala je sljedeći tekst: „Pažnja! Pažnja! Upravo sada i upravo ovdje, nalazimo se na zemaljskoj kugli koja se okreće oko vlastite osi u dubokom, beskrajnom svemiru. Milijarde i milijarde zvijezda su oko nas, neke od njih su odavno mrtve, neke se upravo rađaju, neke od njih su crne rupe. Pažnja! Ispod nas je užarena lava."

Almissa Open Art festival koji već jedanaestu godinu u Omiš dovodi najrelevantnije hrvatske i međunarodne umjetnike otvoren je u gradu na Cetini.

Ovogodišnja tema je Hitnost/Emergency koju je osmislila ovogodišnja kustosica, multimedijalna umjetnica Neli Ružić. Program koji traje šest dana vrlo je intenzivan, a sadašnja epidemiološka situacija ovom festivalu nije odmogla, naprotiv, program je vrlo dobro iskoristio javne površina kao prostor zajednice. Pozvani umjetnici reagirali su na ovogodišnju korona krizu i njihovi radovi pozivaju na budnost i kritiku tehnološkog nadzora.

Poziv na hitnost

Prvi rad u službenom programu mogao se vidjeti u petak navečer u Gradskom muzeju Omiš, a radi se o video instalaciji meksičke umjetnice Ale del la Puente, koji prikazuje pješčani sat snimljen u bestežinskom stanju. Ovaj rad čini mjerenje vremena bespredmetnim i kao takav je po mišljenju kustosice bio važan za otvorenje festivala koji nas poziva na hitnost djelovanja. Međutim, to nije bio prvi rad koji je predstavljen na ovogodišnjoj Almissi. Na ulazu u Omiš prije nekoliko dana postavljen je jumbo plakat autora Thierry Geoffroya „The Emergency Will Replace The Contemporary" iz 2016. godine, odnosno „Hitnost će zamijeniti suvremenost", a time se autor obraća suvremenoj umjetničkoj sceni, upozoravajući da je važna hitna reakcija na našu stvarnost.

Na dan otvorenja izveden je performans Zorana Pavelića naslovljen Almissa Emergency, 2020. Službeni kombi Hrvatske udruge likovnih umjetnika pretvoren je u kola hitne pomoći iz kojih umjetnik megafonom odašilje poruku: „Nitko nije siguran!" na četrdesetak svjetskih jezika, obraćajući se tako publici i turistima.

Na glavnoj gradskoj ulici, Fošalu, na pročelju privatne stambene zgrade postavljena je svjetlosna intervencija Ane Elizabet. Neonski natpis pitanjem „Dišeš?" uspostavlja direktni dijalog s prolaznicima, na osobnoj razini. Rad nastao 2012. u ovogodišnjoj globalnoj situaciji dobiva brojne mogućnosti novih značenja.

Posljednji rad prve večeri festivala je video rad Adriana Pacija „Centro di permanenza temporanea" prikazan u crkvi Sv. Duha, u kojem autor stvara ikoničku sliku migranata zaustavljenih u međuprostoru, koji na stepenicama za ukrcaj na avion čekaju avion kojeg nema.

Drugi dan festivala, u subotu, počeo je radom Božene Končić Badurine koji je postavljen na oglasna mjesta u glavnoj ulici, a radi se o plakatima velikih dimenzija na kojima su fotografije iz mladosti starijih stanovnika Omiša. Naime, umjetnica u dijalogu s Omišanima, bavi se pozicijom jedne od najranjivijih društvenih skupina, osoba starije životne dobi, "skrećući pažnju na potrebu jačanja međugeneracijskih veza i solidarnosti kao nužnih preduvjeta razvoja zajednice", kako kaže sama autorica. Ova intervencija u javnom prostoru izazvao veliki interes lokalnog stanovništva i približilo strategije suvremene umjetnosti široj publici.

Nadzor sebe samoga

Splitski umjetnik Toni Meštrović izveo je osmosatni performans „Samokontrola" u bunkeru iz drugog svjetskog rata. Bunker se nalazi na tvrđavi Mirabeli kako bi nadzirao kretanje na strateškoj poziciji bivšeg mosta koji je povezivao dvije obale rijeke Cetine. Umjetnik je performativnim činom nadzirao samoga sebe preko CCTV kamere i ekrana u trajanju osam satnog radnog vremena. Time je umjetnik preispitivao poziciju umjetnika u odnosu na pojam zaposlenja u suvremenom društvu. Meštrović postavlja pitanja: Što je to radno vrijeme umjetnika i koliko ono traje, kako se vrednuje i koliko cijeni, da li je uopće bitan umjetnički rad? Meštrović istovremeno propituje sustave nadzora i kontrole ljudi, ograničenja slobode pod izgovorom sigurnosti za koje se suvremena tehnologija danas koristi.

Zadnji rad druge večeri Almisse bila je izvedba Kate Mijatović naslovljena „Ovdje i sada".

Tijekom vožnje ambulantnim kolima koja su okosnica zajedničkog rada i ove umjetnice i Zorana Pavelića, Kata Mijatović u performativnoj intervenciji, uz pomoć megafona čitala je sljedeći tekst: „Pažnja! Pažnja! Upravo sada i upravo ovdje, nalazimo se na zemaljskoj kugli koja se okreće oko vlastite osi u dubokom, beskrajnom svemiru. Milijarde i milijarde zvijezda su oko nas, neke od njih su odavno mrtve, neke se upravo rađaju, neke od njih su crne rupe. Pažnja! Ispod nas je užarena lava."
