Dobitnica Nobelove nagrade za književnost, kanadska spisateljica Alice Munro, umrla je u ponedjeljak u dobi od 92 godine, objavili su u utorak mediji.

Izvrsno oblikovane priče o ljubavima, ambicijama i mukama žena iz malog grada u njezinoj rodnoj zemlji, učinile su Alice Munro globalno priznatom majstoricom kratke priče.

Mediji pišu da je Munro posljednjih desetak godina patila od demencije.

Objavila je više od deset zbirki kratkih priča i dobila je Nobelovu nagradu za književnost 2013. godine.

 

Njezine priče istražuju seks, čežnju, nezadovoljstvo, starenje, moralne sukobe i druge teme ruralnog okruženja pokrajine Ontario, gdje je živjela i s kojima je bila blisko upoznata.

Bila je vješta u potpunom razvijanju složenih likova unutar ograničenih struktura kratke priče.

Često je uspoređuju s Antonom Čehovim, ruskim majstorom kratke priče iz 19. stoljeća, što je istaknula i Švedska akademija dodjeljujući joj Nobelovu nagradu.

Munro je dobila i nagradu Booker 2009. i dvaput nagradu Giller, najprestižniju književnu nagradu u Kanadi.

Nakladnik OceanMore objavio je nekoliko knjiga priča Alice Munro, i prije dobivanja Nobelove nagrade. To su naslovi "Dragi život", "Javne tajne", "Previše sreće", "Život djevojaka i žena" i "Služba, družba, prošnja, ljubav, brak", u kojima će čitateljice moći uživati i poslije smrti njihove odlične autorice.

Dobitnica Nobelove nagrade za književnost, kanadska spisateljica Alice Munro, umrla je u ponedjeljak u dobi od 92 godine, objavili su u utorak mediji.

Izvrsno oblikovane priče o ljubavima, ambicijama i mukama žena iz malog grada u njezinoj rodnoj zemlji, učinile su Alice Munro globalno priznatom majstoricom kratke priče.

Mediji pišu da je Munro posljednjih desetak godina patila od demencije.

Objavila je više od deset zbirki kratkih priča i dobila je Nobelovu nagradu za književnost 2013. godine.

 

Njezine priče istražuju seks, čežnju, nezadovoljstvo, starenje, moralne sukobe i druge teme ruralnog okruženja pokrajine Ontario, gdje je živjela i s kojima je bila blisko upoznata.

Bila je vješta u potpunom razvijanju složenih likova unutar ograničenih struktura kratke priče.

Često je uspoređuju s Antonom Čehovim, ruskim majstorom kratke priče iz 19. stoljeća, što je istaknula i Švedska akademija dodjeljujući joj Nobelovu nagradu.

Munro je dobila i nagradu Booker 2009. i dvaput nagradu Giller, najprestižniju književnu nagradu u Kanadi.

Nakladnik OceanMore objavio je nekoliko knjiga priča Alice Munro, i prije dobivanja Nobelove nagrade. To su naslovi "Dragi život", "Javne tajne", "Previše sreće", "Život djevojaka i žena" i "Služba, družba, prošnja, ljubav, brak", u kojima će čitateljice moći uživati i poslije smrti njihove odlične autorice.
