U kolovozu prošle godine objavili smo je veliki intervju s Lukom Paljetkom koji je tada našem novinaru govorio o životu, smrti, strahovima, radu u književnosti i mnogim drugim temama. Povod je bilo predstavljanje njegove nove zbirke poezije “Reciklirane pjesme” u izdanju Društva dubrovačkih pisaca.

Paljetak je nedavno bio u Trogiru, ovako je govorio: ‘Zamislite, bibličari žele izbaciti poeziju! Sam Bog zna zašto‘
Dok ste tako nedavno ležali u bolesničkoj postelji i sebi vraćali integritet, ljudsko dostojanstvo pišući haiku, koliko se čovjek bori s mišlju o kraju?
Ne smiješ misliti na kraj jer samim tim si sebi postavio ograničenje, a čovjek je stvor koji ne voli ograničenja, nikakva, a onda ni to. Što god u sebi jesmo, ne možemo poreći da nismo neka vrsta bića koja u nešto vjeruju, bez obzira što je to. Ako to u što vjeruješ nije vrijedno vjerovanja i nešto je prolazno, moraš vjerovati u nešto što čak nadilazi i tvoju vjeru. Taj osjećaj ne dopušta ti, čini te gotovo nesposobnim misliti o kraju bilo kakve vrste... Ono o čemu čovjek misli nije kraj nego bol, ono što ljudi ne mogu podnijeti jest bol.
Ljudi se ne boje smrti, nego umiranja, tog procesa...
Sve oko nas umire, čak i ono što mislimo da ne umire, umire, ali nije stvar umiranja nego u načinu umiranja, koliko to umiranje prati bol. Naravno, nitko ne voli bol i ne može je, reklo bi se, voljeti, ali, da te nešto ne boli, ne bi znao kako izgleda kad ne boli. Boli se ljudi boje.

Čega se Vi bojite?
Zlih ljudi, ali ne zato što su zli, nego zato što bi se moglo dogoditi da zbog njihove zloće i ja postanem zao.
A smrti?
Smrt. U Bibliji piše: „I uskrsnuo je treći dan po Svetom Pismu!” Po Svetom Pismu, dakle, negdje je to napisano... Rečenica ne glasi „Uskrsnuo je treći dan!” Tko je dodao ili nije dodao „po Svetom Pismu”, to ne znamo. Religije, ljudi stoje pred tim pitanjem odavno... Religije poput budizma riješili su to vječnim obnavljanjem istoga, metamorfozama, prelaskom jednog oblika života u drugi, vječnim krugom života. Ali, ako je svemir beskrajan, ako se život događa u prostoru koje se zove svemir, onda je i život beskrajan. Zvijezde koje nas griju, umrle su davno, ne znamo za to. Što je s ljudima koji su davno umrli?! Jesu li oni živi?!

U kolovozu prošle godine objavili smo je veliki intervju s Lukom Paljetkom koji je tada našem novinaru govorio o životu, smrti, strahovima, radu u književnosti i mnogim drugim temama. Povod je bilo predstavljanje njegove nove zbirke poezije “Reciklirane pjesme” u izdanju Društva dubrovačkih pisaca.

Paljetak je nedavno bio u Trogiru, ovako je govorio: ‘Zamislite, bibličari žele izbaciti poeziju! Sam Bog zna zašto‘
Dok ste tako nedavno ležali u bolesničkoj postelji i sebi vraćali integritet, ljudsko dostojanstvo pišući haiku, koliko se čovjek bori s mišlju o kraju?
Ne smiješ misliti na kraj jer samim tim si sebi postavio ograničenje, a čovjek je stvor koji ne voli ograničenja, nikakva, a onda ni to. Što god u sebi jesmo, ne možemo poreći da nismo neka vrsta bića koja u nešto vjeruju, bez obzira što je to. Ako to u što vjeruješ nije vrijedno vjerovanja i nešto je prolazno, moraš vjerovati u nešto što čak nadilazi i tvoju vjeru. Taj osjećaj ne dopušta ti, čini te gotovo nesposobnim misliti o kraju bilo kakve vrste... Ono o čemu čovjek misli nije kraj nego bol, ono što ljudi ne mogu podnijeti jest bol.
Ljudi se ne boje smrti, nego umiranja, tog procesa...
Sve oko nas umire, čak i ono što mislimo da ne umire, umire, ali nije stvar umiranja nego u načinu umiranja, koliko to umiranje prati bol. Naravno, nitko ne voli bol i ne može je, reklo bi se, voljeti, ali, da te nešto ne boli, ne bi znao kako izgleda kad ne boli. Boli se ljudi boje.

Čega se Vi bojite?
Zlih ljudi, ali ne zato što su zli, nego zato što bi se moglo dogoditi da zbog njihove zloće i ja postanem zao.
A smrti?
Smrt. U Bibliji piše: „I uskrsnuo je treći dan po Svetom Pismu!” Po Svetom Pismu, dakle, negdje je to napisano... Rečenica ne glasi „Uskrsnuo je treći dan!” Tko je dodao ili nije dodao „po Svetom Pismu”, to ne znamo. Religije, ljudi stoje pred tim pitanjem odavno... Religije poput budizma riješili su to vječnim obnavljanjem istoga, metamorfozama, prelaskom jednog oblika života u drugi, vječnim krugom života. Ali, ako je svemir beskrajan, ako se život događa u prostoru koje se zove svemir, onda je i život beskrajan. Zvijezde koje nas griju, umrle su davno, ne znamo za to. Što je s ljudima koji su davno umrli?! Jesu li oni živi?!
