Predstava "Fahrenheit 451", temeljena na romanu klasika svjetske književnosti Raya Bradburyja bit će, prvi put u Hrvatskoj, premijerno izvedena u petak, 3. prosinca, u riječkom HNK Ivana pl. Zajca, u dramatizaciji i režiji Ivana Penovića.

Riječ je o zastrašujućoj viziji budućnosti u kojoj vlasti čitanje knjiga proglašavaju teškim zločinom, distopijskoj priči koja tematizira spaljivanje prošlosti u korist što zdravije i ravnopravnije budućnosti.

"Fahrenheit 451" napisao je Ray Bradbury u Americi, njegov jedini roman znanstvene fantastike objavljen je 1953. godine, ne tako dugo nakon što su nacisti palili knjige, a onda i ljude.

Te 1950-e bile su godine nakon Hirošime i Nagasakija, eskalirala je utrka u naoružanju. Bradbury je zabilježio i komentirao što bi se dogodilo da smo otišli predaleko u tom smjeru.

Čak i onima koji ga nisu pročitali, na spomen romana "Fahrenheit 451" obično je prva asocijacija knjiga u plamenu i vladina cenzura.

Ray Bradbury posljednjih je godina života nastojao ispraviti i dopuniti ovu interpretaciju i naglašavao kako zapravo televizija uništava interes za čitanjem te "TV pretvara ljude u imbecile". Bojao se da će ljudi čitati samo naslove, da će riječi zamijeniti grafičkim simbolima, bojao se gubitka pamćenja.

Danas su društvene mreže čuvari naših sjećanja, emocija, snova i činjenica. Predvidio je tako i lažne vijesti i alternativne činjenice.

Bojao se da će ljudi prepustiti svoju privatnost i slobodu tehnološkim tvrtkama, da smo kulturnu baštinu i znanje odlučili povjeriti digitalnim arhivima. Za odustajanje od čitanja koje je primijetio u društvu i iz kojeg je crpio inspiraciju za roman, nije krivio vlast već narod, demokratsko društvo ovisno o zabavi.

"Takve izazove može pobijediti samo inteligentna, neumrtvljena javnost", uvjeren je bio Bradbury.

"Fahrenheit 451" jedan je od najpoznatijih romana, nalazi se na popisu srednjoškolske lektire i u Hrvatskoj.

Prodan u više od 10 milijuna primjeraka, hvaljen od kritike, smatra se jednim od najvažnijih romana 20. stoljeća.

Dobitnik je brojnih nagrada, uključujući i nagradu Američke akademije za umjetnost i književnost. Djelo je bilo nominirano i za Grammyja 1976. godine za audioknjigu koju je čitao sam autor.

Bradbury je kao priznanje za svoj klasik, 2002. dobio zvijezdu na holivudskoj Stazi slavnih. Njegov je roman doživio i dvije filmske ekranizacije, 1966. godine redatelja Françoisa Truffauta te 2018. godine scenarista i redatelja Ramina Bahranija.

Prvu hrvatsku kazališnu produkciju toga predloška režira Ivan Penović, jedan od naših najistaknutijih dramskih umjetnika nove generacije, kojemu je u dramatizaciji romana najveći izazov bio "uspjeti prikazati filmičnost na sceni, rapidnu izmjenu prostora i skokove u vremenu koje su upisane u sam roman".

"Cilj je izbalansirati poetičnost i mudrost ovog romana s dinamikom koju kazališna scena zahtijeva", rekao je Penović.

Svijet "Fahrenheita 451" dogodio se prekapacitiranjem dostupnosti informacija, fiktivnim slobodama odabira, napretkom tehnologije koju čovjek teško prati i prilagođava se, dodao je redatelj.

Dogodio se bez proglasa, iz naroda, automatski. Količina sadržaja dovela je do toga da odabiremo ništa, da odaberemo isključiti se. Počeli smo komprimirati znanje da bismo ga lakše probavili, počeli smo ubrzavati tehnologiju da bismo je što više koristili.

"Svako vrijeme pronaći će prijetnju ljudskog bezumlja na koju Bradbury ukazuje, ali iz trenutne perspektive, jedini aktualniji trenutak za postaviti ovaj naslov od današnjeg bio bi vjerojatno sutra", dodao je.

Put njegova glavnog lika Guya Montaga stoga je "idealno plasiran u našem vremenu, vremenu koje je definirano prijelaznim razdobljem čekanja, vremenom koje u korist tolerancije i transparentnosti prava počinje strahovati od raznolikosti, slobode odabira i prošlosti kojom se ne moramo nužno ponositi da bismo je ostavili u pamćenju".

Montaga tumači mladi glumac Mario Jovev, koji u "Fahrenheitu 451" vidi "distopijsku viziju svijeta u kojem živimo, znanstveno-fantastičnu viziju vremena koja, kad primijetimo sličnosti s našim vremenom, prestaje biti toliko znanstveno-fantastična".

"Lik Guya Montaga doživljavam kao čovjeka čiji je bogati emocionalni i misaoni svijet potisnut i zatočen u okovima vremena u kojem živi.

Žrtva je nametnutog i ukorijenjenog režima i općeprihvaćenog načina života gdje filtriranje znanja, cenzura i zabava sputavaju čovjekovu kreativnost, originalnost i misaonost te onemogućuje propitkivanje i kritičko razmišljanje čineći ih pojmovima negativnog predznaka.

Uz Maria Joveva u predstavi glume Aleksandra Stojaković Olenjuk, Romina Tonković, Dean Krivačić, Jasmin Mekić, Dražen Mikulić, Damir Orlić, Olivera Baljak, Biljana Lovre i Ivna Bruck. Scenografiju potpisuje Zdravka Ivandija Kirigin, a kostimografiju Manuela Paladin Šabanović. Skladatelji su Osman Eyublu i Pedro Rosenthal Campuzano, a oblikovatelj svjetla Dalibor Fugošić.

Predstava "Fahrenheit 451", temeljena na romanu klasika svjetske književnosti Raya Bradburyja bit će, prvi put u Hrvatskoj, premijerno izvedena u petak, 3. prosinca, u riječkom HNK Ivana pl. Zajca, u dramatizaciji i režiji Ivana Penovića.

Riječ je o zastrašujućoj viziji budućnosti u kojoj vlasti čitanje knjiga proglašavaju teškim zločinom, distopijskoj priči koja tematizira spaljivanje prošlosti u korist što zdravije i ravnopravnije budućnosti.

"Fahrenheit 451" napisao je Ray Bradbury u Americi, njegov jedini roman znanstvene fantastike objavljen je 1953. godine, ne tako dugo nakon što su nacisti palili knjige, a onda i ljude.

Te 1950-e bile su godine nakon Hirošime i Nagasakija, eskalirala je utrka u naoružanju. Bradbury je zabilježio i komentirao što bi se dogodilo da smo otišli predaleko u tom smjeru.

Čak i onima koji ga nisu pročitali, na spomen romana "Fahrenheit 451" obično je prva asocijacija knjiga u plamenu i vladina cenzura.

Ray Bradbury posljednjih je godina života nastojao ispraviti i dopuniti ovu interpretaciju i naglašavao kako zapravo televizija uništava interes za čitanjem te "TV pretvara ljude u imbecile". Bojao se da će ljudi čitati samo naslove, da će riječi zamijeniti grafičkim simbolima, bojao se gubitka pamćenja.

Danas su društvene mreže čuvari naših sjećanja, emocija, snova i činjenica. Predvidio je tako i lažne vijesti i alternativne činjenice.

Bojao se da će ljudi prepustiti svoju privatnost i slobodu tehnološkim tvrtkama, da smo kulturnu baštinu i znanje odlučili povjeriti digitalnim arhivima. Za odustajanje od čitanja koje je primijetio u društvu i iz kojeg je crpio inspiraciju za roman, nije krivio vlast već narod, demokratsko društvo ovisno o zabavi.

"Takve izazove može pobijediti samo inteligentna, neumrtvljena javnost", uvjeren je bio Bradbury.

"Fahrenheit 451" jedan je od najpoznatijih romana, nalazi se na popisu srednjoškolske lektire i u Hrvatskoj.

Prodan u više od 10 milijuna primjeraka, hvaljen od kritike, smatra se jednim od najvažnijih romana 20. stoljeća.

Dobitnik je brojnih nagrada, uključujući i nagradu Američke akademije za umjetnost i književnost. Djelo je bilo nominirano i za Grammyja 1976. godine za audioknjigu koju je čitao sam autor.

Bradbury je kao priznanje za svoj klasik, 2002. dobio zvijezdu na holivudskoj Stazi slavnih. Njegov je roman doživio i dvije filmske ekranizacije, 1966. godine redatelja Françoisa Truffauta te 2018. godine scenarista i redatelja Ramina Bahranija.

Prvu hrvatsku kazališnu produkciju toga predloška režira Ivan Penović, jedan od naših najistaknutijih dramskih umjetnika nove generacije, kojemu je u dramatizaciji romana najveći izazov bio "uspjeti prikazati filmičnost na sceni, rapidnu izmjenu prostora i skokove u vremenu koje su upisane u sam roman".

"Cilj je izbalansirati poetičnost i mudrost ovog romana s dinamikom koju kazališna scena zahtijeva", rekao je Penović.

Svijet "Fahrenheita 451" dogodio se prekapacitiranjem dostupnosti informacija, fiktivnim slobodama odabira, napretkom tehnologije koju čovjek teško prati i prilagođava se, dodao je redatelj.

Dogodio se bez proglasa, iz naroda, automatski. Količina sadržaja dovela je do toga da odabiremo ništa, da odaberemo isključiti se. Počeli smo komprimirati znanje da bismo ga lakše probavili, počeli smo ubrzavati tehnologiju da bismo je što više koristili.

"Svako vrijeme pronaći će prijetnju ljudskog bezumlja na koju Bradbury ukazuje, ali iz trenutne perspektive, jedini aktualniji trenutak za postaviti ovaj naslov od današnjeg bio bi vjerojatno sutra", dodao je.

Put njegova glavnog lika Guya Montaga stoga je "idealno plasiran u našem vremenu, vremenu koje je definirano prijelaznim razdobljem čekanja, vremenom koje u korist tolerancije i transparentnosti prava počinje strahovati od raznolikosti, slobode odabira i prošlosti kojom se ne moramo nužno ponositi da bismo je ostavili u pamćenju".

Montaga tumači mladi glumac Mario Jovev, koji u "Fahrenheitu 451" vidi "distopijsku viziju svijeta u kojem živimo, znanstveno-fantastičnu viziju vremena koja, kad primijetimo sličnosti s našim vremenom, prestaje biti toliko znanstveno-fantastična".

"Lik Guya Montaga doživljavam kao čovjeka čiji je bogati emocionalni i misaoni svijet potisnut i zatočen u okovima vremena u kojem živi.

Žrtva je nametnutog i ukorijenjenog režima i općeprihvaćenog načina života gdje filtriranje znanja, cenzura i zabava sputavaju čovjekovu kreativnost, originalnost i misaonost te onemogućuje propitkivanje i kritičko razmišljanje čineći ih pojmovima negativnog predznaka.

Uz Maria Joveva u predstavi glume Aleksandra Stojaković Olenjuk, Romina Tonković, Dean Krivačić, Jasmin Mekić, Dražen Mikulić, Damir Orlić, Olivera Baljak, Biljana Lovre i Ivna Bruck. Scenografiju potpisuje Zdravka Ivandija Kirigin, a kostimografiju Manuela Paladin Šabanović. Skladatelji su Osman Eyublu i Pedro Rosenthal Campuzano, a oblikovatelj svjetla Dalibor Fugošić.
