Jedini čovjek kojeg sam se ikad bojao bila je žena po imenu Griselda. Citat Pabla Escobara otvara Netflixovu kriminalističko-dramsku seriju “Griselda” i smjesta grabi pažnju gledatelja. Ako se zloglasni Escobar bojao Griselde Blanco (1943. – 2012.), kakva li je tek onda ona.

Iako manje poznata od Escobara široj publici, Griselda je bila gotovo jednako zloglasna kolumbijska narkobosica koja je dobila nadimak Crna udovica i Kokainska kuma, a prevalila je put od Medellina do Miamija i ondje izgradila narkocarstvo.

Deglamurizirana Vergara

No, dok je Escobar postao lik u nizu poznatih filmova ili serija, kao što su npr. “Bijeli prah”, “Escobar – Pakleni raj”, “Voleći Pabla” i “Narcos”, gdje su ga glumili Cliff Curtis, Benicio Del Toro, Javier Bardem i Wagner Moura, filmaši dosad nisu pokazali preveliko zanimanje za Griseldu.

Televizijski film “Cocaine Godmother” iz 2017. s Catherine Zeta-Jones rijetki je primjerak priče o Griseldi do pojave Netflixove serije, koja zato izaziva pozornost. K tome, iza “Griselde” stoje producenti i/li kreatori serije “Narcos” Eric Newman, Carlo Bernard i Doug Miro te Ingrid Escajeda (“Silos”), a glavnu ulogu tumači Sofia Vergara, koja vrlo sliči na Zeta-Jones.

Zasigurno je zbog toga Vergara odlučila promijeniti izgled (nos, brada) uz pomoć maske i prostetike, a i da se, slijedeći trag jedne Nicole Kidman u “Satima” i Charlize Theron u “Čudovištu”, malčice “poružni” ili deglamurizira za ulogu kako bi gledatelj obratio pažnju na njezinu glumu, ne izgled (prava Griselda bila je, uzgred, sve samo ne ljepotica).

Ovo je Vergari rijetka dramska uloga i za njezinu karijeru mogla bi biti značajna približno kao Theroničina u “Monsteru”, što je ona prepoznala i ujedno producirala seriju. Bujna kolumbijska glumica uglavnom je dala zapaženije uloge zgodnih latino žena u komedijama, od serije “Moderna obitelj” do filmova poput “U troje sa žigolom” i “Vruće potjere” (“Machete ubija” je iznimka).

Vergara nije neprepoznatljiva, ali je svakako u drukčijem izdanju nego inače i veća od serije. Kolumbijka je dala sve od sebe i odigrala prilično sočnu, energičnu dramsku ulogu, nedvojbeno ugledana na legendarnog Ala Pacina u gangsterskoj sagi “Lice s ožiljkom” Briana De Palme.

Ženski ‘Scarface‘

Seriji zna ponestati energije tijekom šest povremeno razvučenih epizoda (prosječno trajanje 55 minuta) zahvaljujući neujednačenoj režiji Andresa Baiza (“Narcos”, “The Sandman”), ali ne i Vergari koja se trudi kanalizirati nabrijanog Pacina na ženski način.

“Scarface” je uzor za “Griseldu” i odvija se u sličnom vremenskom razdoblju u šarenom Miamiju, evociranom glazbom na potezu od “Hot Stuff” Donne Summer i “Gotta Go Home” Boney M-a do Bowiejeve ”Let’s Dance” i “Dr. Beat” Glorije Estefan, a struktura je tipična gangsterska “od uspona do pada” i u jednoj sceni se na TV-u gleda Coppolin “Kum”.

Ipak, u odnosu na slične gangsterske priče, “Griselda” se razlikuje po spolu, odnosno tome da je fokusirana na jedan ženski lik, što nije tako često (npr. španjolska serija “Hache” s Adrianom Ugarte i američko-meksička “Queen of the South” s Alice Braga). S druge strane, ta fokusiranost pretvara “Griseldu” u “wanna be” feminističku seriju o (latino) ženi koja je seksualizirana i muškarci je podcjenjuju zato što radi “muški posao”.

Nasuprot Griselde, imamo i mladu latino policajku June u tumačenju Juliane Aidén Martinez. Jednako tako, serija traži od gledatelj(ic)a da “navijaju” za ženu-majku-kriminalku Griseldu i njezine uspjehe, prikazujući je kao suosjećajnu osobu (žali zbog nekih odluka itd.).

Tek tu i tamo vidimo je u izrazito negativnom, okrutnom izdanju, primjerice kad sa zlatnim uzijem u ruci ponižava jednog muškarca, prisiljavajući ga da hoda “na sve četiri” i glasa se kao pas. Griselda u seriji baš i ne djeluje kao žena od koje je strahovao jedan Escobar.

Jedini čovjek kojeg sam se ikad bojao bila je žena po imenu Griselda. Citat Pabla Escobara otvara Netflixovu kriminalističko-dramsku seriju “Griselda” i smjesta grabi pažnju gledatelja. Ako se zloglasni Escobar bojao Griselde Blanco (1943. – 2012.), kakva li je tek onda ona.

Iako manje poznata od Escobara široj publici, Griselda je bila gotovo jednako zloglasna kolumbijska narkobosica koja je dobila nadimak Crna udovica i Kokainska kuma, a prevalila je put od Medellina do Miamija i ondje izgradila narkocarstvo.

Deglamurizirana Vergara

No, dok je Escobar postao lik u nizu poznatih filmova ili serija, kao što su npr. “Bijeli prah”, “Escobar – Pakleni raj”, “Voleći Pabla” i “Narcos”, gdje su ga glumili Cliff Curtis, Benicio Del Toro, Javier Bardem i Wagner Moura, filmaši dosad nisu pokazali preveliko zanimanje za Griseldu.

Televizijski film “Cocaine Godmother” iz 2017. s Catherine Zeta-Jones rijetki je primjerak priče o Griseldi do pojave Netflixove serije, koja zato izaziva pozornost. K tome, iza “Griselde” stoje producenti i/li kreatori serije “Narcos” Eric Newman, Carlo Bernard i Doug Miro te Ingrid Escajeda (“Silos”), a glavnu ulogu tumači Sofia Vergara, koja vrlo sliči na Zeta-Jones.

Zasigurno je zbog toga Vergara odlučila promijeniti izgled (nos, brada) uz pomoć maske i prostetike, a i da se, slijedeći trag jedne Nicole Kidman u “Satima” i Charlize Theron u “Čudovištu”, malčice “poružni” ili deglamurizira za ulogu kako bi gledatelj obratio pažnju na njezinu glumu, ne izgled (prava Griselda bila je, uzgred, sve samo ne ljepotica).

Ovo je Vergari rijetka dramska uloga i za njezinu karijeru mogla bi biti značajna približno kao Theroničina u “Monsteru”, što je ona prepoznala i ujedno producirala seriju. Bujna kolumbijska glumica uglavnom je dala zapaženije uloge zgodnih latino žena u komedijama, od serije “Moderna obitelj” do filmova poput “U troje sa žigolom” i “Vruće potjere” (“Machete ubija” je iznimka).

Vergara nije neprepoznatljiva, ali je svakako u drukčijem izdanju nego inače i veća od serije. Kolumbijka je dala sve od sebe i odigrala prilično sočnu, energičnu dramsku ulogu, nedvojbeno ugledana na legendarnog Ala Pacina u gangsterskoj sagi “Lice s ožiljkom” Briana De Palme.

Ženski ‘Scarface‘

Seriji zna ponestati energije tijekom šest povremeno razvučenih epizoda (prosječno trajanje 55 minuta) zahvaljujući neujednačenoj režiji Andresa Baiza (“Narcos”, “The Sandman”), ali ne i Vergari koja se trudi kanalizirati nabrijanog Pacina na ženski način.

“Scarface” je uzor za “Griseldu” i odvija se u sličnom vremenskom razdoblju u šarenom Miamiju, evociranom glazbom na potezu od “Hot Stuff” Donne Summer i “Gotta Go Home” Boney M-a do Bowiejeve ”Let’s Dance” i “Dr. Beat” Glorije Estefan, a struktura je tipična gangsterska “od uspona do pada” i u jednoj sceni se na TV-u gleda Coppolin “Kum”.

Ipak, u odnosu na slične gangsterske priče, “Griselda” se razlikuje po spolu, odnosno tome da je fokusirana na jedan ženski lik, što nije tako često (npr. španjolska serija “Hache” s Adrianom Ugarte i američko-meksička “Queen of the South” s Alice Braga). S druge strane, ta fokusiranost pretvara “Griseldu” u “wanna be” feminističku seriju o (latino) ženi koja je seksualizirana i muškarci je podcjenjuju zato što radi “muški posao”.

Nasuprot Griselde, imamo i mladu latino policajku June u tumačenju Juliane Aidén Martinez. Jednako tako, serija traži od gledatelj(ic)a da “navijaju” za ženu-majku-kriminalku Griseldu i njezine uspjehe, prikazujući je kao suosjećajnu osobu (žali zbog nekih odluka itd.).

Tek tu i tamo vidimo je u izrazito negativnom, okrutnom izdanju, primjerice kad sa zlatnim uzijem u ruci ponižava jednog muškarca, prisiljavajući ga da hoda “na sve četiri” i glasa se kao pas. Griselda u seriji baš i ne djeluje kao žena od koje je strahovao jedan Escobar.
