Teško je biti napola dijelom nečega, ili jesi, ili nisi – govori kraljica Elizabeta II. (Imelda Staunton) u jednoj sceni nove "Krune"/"The Crown". Elizabeta se referira na princezu Dianu (Elizabeth Debicki) koja je "dio kraljevske obitelji i izvan nje" u ovoj fazi kronike britanske monarhije i uopće povijesti 20. stoljeća, razvedena od Charlesa (Dominic West).

No, zanimljivo je da kraljica izgovara te riječi u prvom dijelu šeste i posljednje sezone popularne Netflixove serije. Naime, "Kruna" je podijeljena na dva dijela da se što više prolongira neminovni kraj serije koja je započela 2016., što je sad postalo tradicionalno za Netflix ("Stranger Things 4"), naročito kad su u pitanju finalne sezone hitoidnih projekata ("Kuća od papira 5", "Ozark 4").

Utoliko, doista, "teško je biti napola dijelom nečega", tj. suditi zadnju sezonu samo prema prve četiri epizode od ukupno deset. Moglo bi se reći da je podjela serije na dva dijela čak i pogrešna, s obzirom da preostalim epizodama (njih šest izlaze 14. prosinca) neće biti lako melodramski nadmašiti ove iz prvog dijela, fokusirane na finalne dane u životu princeze Diane i trenutke neposredno nakon njezine tragične pogibije u prometnoj nesreći u pariškom tunelu 1997. godine.

To je "main event" šeste sezone koji bi bio dio jedne cjeline, a sada više djeluje kao nešto zasebno zahvaljujući podjeli. Smrt Diane visi u zraku odmah od prve epizode, kad pratimo nekog Parižanina kako izvodi psa u večernju šetnju i crni automobil prozuji pored njega jureći prema tunelu (Pont de l‘Alma), gdje će doživjeti sudar.

"Dogodila se nesreća u tunelu", govori muškarac kad nazove policiju. U prve četiri epizode Diana je glavna, čineći Elizabetu sporednim likom u vlastitoj seriji. Pratimo njezino zaljubljivanje u filmskog producenta Dodija al-Fayeda (Khalid Abdalla) koji je producirao "Vatrene kočije", "F/X: Ubojstvo trikom" i "Kapetana Kuku".

Njih dvoje nalaze se na godišnjem odmoru u St. Tropezu, istodobno s proslavom 50. rođendana Charlesove družice Camille Parker-Bowles (Olivia Williams), a zaljubljivanje je, tako ispada, djelomično "režirao" Dodijev manipulativni otac Mohammad al-Fayed (Salim Daw) čijih se previsokih očekivanja sin želi osloboditi, baš kao Diana u slučaju kraljevske obitelji. Manipulativna režija osjeća se i u prve četiri epizode šeste sezone "The Crown".

Bijeg od paparazza

Serija više nego ikad prije balansira između prestižne televizijske drame i sapunice, tj. Hallmark produkcije. Srećom, "Kruna 6-1" ne odlazi do kraja u sapuničasti neukus zahvaljujući dobrim glumcima i kreatoru Peteru Morganu ("Kraljica", "Frost/Nixon", "Posljednji škotski kralj"), koji zbivanjima pristupa s dužnim respektom i osjećajem za dramu, premda se sve više čini da je jedna od dosad kvalitativno najujednačenijih novijih serija lagano na izmaku snaga.

Fokus prve epizode je na različitim slikama Diane i Charlesa u javnosti, odnosno borbom za pozitivniji imidž. "Nekoć je Diana vladala narativom, princeza kojoj je nanesena nepravda, ali to se promijenilo. Što su joj očajniji potezi, to je neukusnija predstava, a vi izgledate sve časnije", uvjeravaju Charlesa.

Slikama, odnosno fotografijama doslovce se bavi druga epizoda, gdje oportunistički talijanski paparazzo ("morate biti poput lovaca, ubojica...") ovjekovječuje poljubac Diane i Dodija na jahti, a kraljevski fotograf uzvraća udarac slikanjem Charlesa sa sinovima Williamom i Harryjem koje glume Rufus Kampa i Fflyn Edwards.

Fotke Diane i Dodija šire se svijetom baš u trenutku kad ona posjećuje Bosnu i šeta po minskom polju; pokrenula je globalnu kampanju protiv mina. Diana je prikazana kao svetica koja želi pobjeći od paparazza i pronaći mir ("letim okolo i izgubim se u tome"), a veseli se povratku sinovima u London, što, nažalost, neće doživjeti.

Međutim, kraljevska obitelj, Elizabeta, princ Philip (Jonathan Pryce) i Charles prikazani su mahom u pozitivnom svjetlu, kao da se Morgan želi iskupiti za kontroverzije iz prijašnjih sezona serije "The Crown". Charles je "iskreno slomljen", on priznaje da je iznevjerio Dianu u životu pa je ne želi iznevjeriti i u smrti.

Scena kad Charles treba priopćiti sinovima da su izgubili mamu najnezaboravnija je u ove četiri epizode. Trenuci Charlesovih i kraljičinih (imaginarnih) razgovora s duhom Diane izvedeni su suptilnije nego što se moglo očekivati, a ispadaju i znakoviti u pogledu ostatka sezone. Duh Diane već se nadvija nad "Krunom 6-2".

Teško je biti napola dijelom nečega, ili jesi, ili nisi – govori kraljica Elizabeta II. (Imelda Staunton) u jednoj sceni nove "Krune"/"The Crown". Elizabeta se referira na princezu Dianu (Elizabeth Debicki) koja je "dio kraljevske obitelji i izvan nje" u ovoj fazi kronike britanske monarhije i uopće povijesti 20. stoljeća, razvedena od Charlesa (Dominic West).

No, zanimljivo je da kraljica izgovara te riječi u prvom dijelu šeste i posljednje sezone popularne Netflixove serije. Naime, "Kruna" je podijeljena na dva dijela da se što više prolongira neminovni kraj serije koja je započela 2016., što je sad postalo tradicionalno za Netflix ("Stranger Things 4"), naročito kad su u pitanju finalne sezone hitoidnih projekata ("Kuća od papira 5", "Ozark 4").

Utoliko, doista, "teško je biti napola dijelom nečega", tj. suditi zadnju sezonu samo prema prve četiri epizode od ukupno deset. Moglo bi se reći da je podjela serije na dva dijela čak i pogrešna, s obzirom da preostalim epizodama (njih šest izlaze 14. prosinca) neće biti lako melodramski nadmašiti ove iz prvog dijela, fokusirane na finalne dane u životu princeze Diane i trenutke neposredno nakon njezine tragične pogibije u prometnoj nesreći u pariškom tunelu 1997. godine.

To je "main event" šeste sezone koji bi bio dio jedne cjeline, a sada više djeluje kao nešto zasebno zahvaljujući podjeli. Smrt Diane visi u zraku odmah od prve epizode, kad pratimo nekog Parižanina kako izvodi psa u večernju šetnju i crni automobil prozuji pored njega jureći prema tunelu (Pont de l‘Alma), gdje će doživjeti sudar.

"Dogodila se nesreća u tunelu", govori muškarac kad nazove policiju. U prve četiri epizode Diana je glavna, čineći Elizabetu sporednim likom u vlastitoj seriji. Pratimo njezino zaljubljivanje u filmskog producenta Dodija al-Fayeda (Khalid Abdalla) koji je producirao "Vatrene kočije", "F/X: Ubojstvo trikom" i "Kapetana Kuku".

Njih dvoje nalaze se na godišnjem odmoru u St. Tropezu, istodobno s proslavom 50. rođendana Charlesove družice Camille Parker-Bowles (Olivia Williams), a zaljubljivanje je, tako ispada, djelomično "režirao" Dodijev manipulativni otac Mohammad al-Fayed (Salim Daw) čijih se previsokih očekivanja sin želi osloboditi, baš kao Diana u slučaju kraljevske obitelji. Manipulativna režija osjeća se i u prve četiri epizode šeste sezone "The Crown".

Bijeg od paparazza

Serija više nego ikad prije balansira između prestižne televizijske drame i sapunice, tj. Hallmark produkcije. Srećom, "Kruna 6-1" ne odlazi do kraja u sapuničasti neukus zahvaljujući dobrim glumcima i kreatoru Peteru Morganu ("Kraljica", "Frost/Nixon", "Posljednji škotski kralj"), koji zbivanjima pristupa s dužnim respektom i osjećajem za dramu, premda se sve više čini da je jedna od dosad kvalitativno najujednačenijih novijih serija lagano na izmaku snaga.

Fokus prve epizode je na različitim slikama Diane i Charlesa u javnosti, odnosno borbom za pozitivniji imidž. "Nekoć je Diana vladala narativom, princeza kojoj je nanesena nepravda, ali to se promijenilo. Što su joj očajniji potezi, to je neukusnija predstava, a vi izgledate sve časnije", uvjeravaju Charlesa.

Slikama, odnosno fotografijama doslovce se bavi druga epizoda, gdje oportunistički talijanski paparazzo ("morate biti poput lovaca, ubojica...") ovjekovječuje poljubac Diane i Dodija na jahti, a kraljevski fotograf uzvraća udarac slikanjem Charlesa sa sinovima Williamom i Harryjem koje glume Rufus Kampa i Fflyn Edwards.

Fotke Diane i Dodija šire se svijetom baš u trenutku kad ona posjećuje Bosnu i šeta po minskom polju; pokrenula je globalnu kampanju protiv mina. Diana je prikazana kao svetica koja želi pobjeći od paparazza i pronaći mir ("letim okolo i izgubim se u tome"), a veseli se povratku sinovima u London, što, nažalost, neće doživjeti.

Međutim, kraljevska obitelj, Elizabeta, princ Philip (Jonathan Pryce) i Charles prikazani su mahom u pozitivnom svjetlu, kao da se Morgan želi iskupiti za kontroverzije iz prijašnjih sezona serije "The Crown". Charles je "iskreno slomljen", on priznaje da je iznevjerio Dianu u životu pa je ne želi iznevjeriti i u smrti.

Scena kad Charles treba priopćiti sinovima da su izgubili mamu najnezaboravnija je u ove četiri epizode. Trenuci Charlesovih i kraljičinih (imaginarnih) razgovora s duhom Diane izvedeni su suptilnije nego što se moglo očekivati, a ispadaju i znakoviti u pogledu ostatka sezone. Duh Diane već se nadvija nad "Krunom 6-2".
