Bliži se godinu dana otkako je hollywoodskoj megazvijezdi i jednom od omiljenih akcijskih junaka Bruceu Willisu dijagnosticirana bolest zbog čega je morao napustiti glumu, a njegovi posljednji filmovi počeli su izlaziti na hrvatsko "online" videotržište.

Dok se kod nas još čeka izlazak akcijskog trilera "Paradise City", koji je ujedinio Willisa i Johna Travoltu nakon "Paklenog šunda", "A1 Videoteka" u ponudi ima tri filma o detektivu Jamesu Knightu koji su najavljeni i za prikazivanje na Cinestar kanalima.

Akcijsku trilogiju redom čine "Detektiv Knight: Odmetnik", "Detektiv Knight: Iskupljenje" i "Detektiv Knight: Neovisnost" ("Detective Knight: Rogue", "Detective Knight: Redemption", "Detective Knight: Independence"; 2022./2023.).

Nekoć bi, u devedesetima, vremenu glumčeve najveće slave ("Hudson Hawk", "Posljednji preživjeli", "Peti element", "Armagedon", "Šesto čulo"), trilogija o Knightu možda mogla biti ekvivalent prvih triju "Umri muški" filmova ili barem nešto u dometu "Smrtonosne zone" ili "Opasne šifre", "Šakala" kvragu.

Nažalost, danas je to znanstvena fantastika, uzimajući u obzir Bruceovo stanje dok je snimao filmove. Iz tog aspekta nije lako gledati "Detektiva Knighta", kao što nije bilo lako gledati ni "Američku opsadu", objavljenu na domaćem "online" videotržištu nedugo nakon vijesti o Willisovu povlačenju iz kinematografije.

Bruce je još tiši i "softspoken" nego inače, a i manje ga ima u kadru, dakle slično mnogim njegovim direktno-na-video filmićima posljednjih godina. On je tu da svojom pojavom na plakatu "proda" film, što je radio i u prijašnjim filmićima, dok "lijevi" glumci/anonimusi imaju veće uloge. Fanovima može zatitrati srce kad ga vide s pištoljem u ruci u ulozi "die hard" detektiva kakve je, uz policajce, često igrao u danima ponosa i slave ("Umri muški 2", "Prljavi igraju prljavo", "Umri muški 3", "Talac", "16 blokova").

No, teško je očekivati nešto poput "Osvetnika", "Proboja" i "Bilo jednom u Veneciji", kad smo kod Willisovih nastupa/filmova unatrag deset godina, kamoli "Umri muški 4.0" ili "Suze boga sunca", o još starijim naslovima da i ne govorimo.

Prvi "Detective Knight" je najbolji (ili najmanje loš) u trilogiji i sugerira da je u nekom paralelnom (multi)svemiru to mogao biti Bruceov odgovor na epsku akcijsko-trilersko-krimi-dramsku "Vrućinu" Michaela Manna ili barem solidno "Bratstvo lopova". Willis i Gerard Butler bi, uzgred, bili dobra junačka "buddy" kombinacija i lako ih je zamisliti u nekom filmu u kojem bi se spojili John McClane i Mike Banning.

Zapravo, gledajući "Detektiva Knighta", najviše "Odmetnika", Bruceovi fanovi mogu samo paralelno-svemirski maštati o tome što bi bilo kad bi bilo i zamišljati bolje filmove s glumcem kojem se nije dogodilo to što se dogodilo (bolest), onako kao što Brian Cox zamišlja drukčiju budućnost za Edwarda Nortona u "25. satu" Spikea Leeja.

Međutim, stvarnost je takva da je – tužno, ali istinito – treći dio trilogije o detektivu Knightu "Neovisnost" pretposljednji novi Willisov film koji ćemo ikad gledati. Posljednji je nadolazeći "Assassin" i to je to. Gotovo.

Bliži se godinu dana otkako je hollywoodskoj megazvijezdi i jednom od omiljenih akcijskih junaka Bruceu Willisu dijagnosticirana bolest zbog čega je morao napustiti glumu, a njegovi posljednji filmovi počeli su izlaziti na hrvatsko "online" videotržište.

Dok se kod nas još čeka izlazak akcijskog trilera "Paradise City", koji je ujedinio Willisa i Johna Travoltu nakon "Paklenog šunda", "A1 Videoteka" u ponudi ima tri filma o detektivu Jamesu Knightu koji su najavljeni i za prikazivanje na Cinestar kanalima.

Akcijsku trilogiju redom čine "Detektiv Knight: Odmetnik", "Detektiv Knight: Iskupljenje" i "Detektiv Knight: Neovisnost" ("Detective Knight: Rogue", "Detective Knight: Redemption", "Detective Knight: Independence"; 2022./2023.).

Nekoć bi, u devedesetima, vremenu glumčeve najveće slave ("Hudson Hawk", "Posljednji preživjeli", "Peti element", "Armagedon", "Šesto čulo"), trilogija o Knightu možda mogla biti ekvivalent prvih triju "Umri muški" filmova ili barem nešto u dometu "Smrtonosne zone" ili "Opasne šifre", "Šakala" kvragu.

Nažalost, danas je to znanstvena fantastika, uzimajući u obzir Bruceovo stanje dok je snimao filmove. Iz tog aspekta nije lako gledati "Detektiva Knighta", kao što nije bilo lako gledati ni "Američku opsadu", objavljenu na domaćem "online" videotržištu nedugo nakon vijesti o Willisovu povlačenju iz kinematografije.

Bruce je još tiši i "softspoken" nego inače, a i manje ga ima u kadru, dakle slično mnogim njegovim direktno-na-video filmićima posljednjih godina. On je tu da svojom pojavom na plakatu "proda" film, što je radio i u prijašnjim filmićima, dok "lijevi" glumci/anonimusi imaju veće uloge. Fanovima može zatitrati srce kad ga vide s pištoljem u ruci u ulozi "die hard" detektiva kakve je, uz policajce, često igrao u danima ponosa i slave ("Umri muški 2", "Prljavi igraju prljavo", "Umri muški 3", "Talac", "16 blokova").

No, teško je očekivati nešto poput "Osvetnika", "Proboja" i "Bilo jednom u Veneciji", kad smo kod Willisovih nastupa/filmova unatrag deset godina, kamoli "Umri muški 4.0" ili "Suze boga sunca", o još starijim naslovima da i ne govorimo.

Prvi "Detective Knight" je najbolji (ili najmanje loš) u trilogiji i sugerira da je u nekom paralelnom (multi)svemiru to mogao biti Bruceov odgovor na epsku akcijsko-trilersko-krimi-dramsku "Vrućinu" Michaela Manna ili barem solidno "Bratstvo lopova". Willis i Gerard Butler bi, uzgred, bili dobra junačka "buddy" kombinacija i lako ih je zamisliti u nekom filmu u kojem bi se spojili John McClane i Mike Banning.

Zapravo, gledajući "Detektiva Knighta", najviše "Odmetnika", Bruceovi fanovi mogu samo paralelno-svemirski maštati o tome što bi bilo kad bi bilo i zamišljati bolje filmove s glumcem kojem se nije dogodilo to što se dogodilo (bolest), onako kao što Brian Cox zamišlja drukčiju budućnost za Edwarda Nortona u "25. satu" Spikea Leeja.

Međutim, stvarnost je takva da je – tužno, ali istinito – treći dio trilogije o detektivu Knightu "Neovisnost" pretposljednji novi Willisov film koji ćemo ikad gledati. Posljednji je nadolazeći "Assassin" i to je to. Gotovo.
