Dokumentarni film "Gazda: Početak" Darija Juričana bio je iznimno gledan u splitskoj Kinoteci početkom 2018. i zasigurno je pridonio njegovu ukupnom statusu kinohita. "Gazda: Početak" dugo je ostao na repertoaru, moguće i rekordno dugo za neki film u Kinoteci u novije vrijeme.

Stoga, prirodno je da novi Juričanov dokumentarac, treći iz serijala "Gazda", ima dalmatinsku i splitsku premijeru baš u Kinoteci. Ovog utorka Dalmatinci i Splićani upoznat će "Kumeka".

"Gazda" je govorio o Ivici Todoriću, "Gazda: Početak" o Miroslavu Kutli, a "Kumek" o Milanu Bandiću. Što mislite kako će proteći upoznavanje Splićana s "Kumekom"?
– Svaka lokalna zajednica ima svoje "kumeke". Splićani će lako u Milanu Bandiću prepoznati domaćeg populističkog tribuna vulgaris, baš kao i mudre misli domaćeg puka.

U Zagrebu su prvog dana planule ulaznice za sve dostupne projekcije. Mislite li da će tako biti i u Splitu? Je li Bandić više "zagrebačka priča" da bi bio Splićanima ekstra zanimljiv ili "hrvatska"?
– Mislim da će ulaznice otići. Bandić je tipična hrvatska priča. Jezivi zombi koji se ne da.

"Gazda: Početak" našao se i na repertoaru pojedinih multipleksa "Cinestar" kao dokumentarac blockbuster potencijala. "Kumek" ipak nije, kako to? Kako su reagirala ostala kina?
– "Cinestar" ima jedno nezgodno pravilo da film mora imati dosta veliki poček za TV premijeru. Inače bih se složio s njima, ali ovaj put situacija je dramatično drugačija. Ljudi zaziru od odlaska u kino, u zraku je napetost i ja ih razumijem. Nadam se dogovoru s televizijom kako bi film vidjeli svi.

U intervjuu u povodu tog filma rekli ste nam da ste spojili najbolje ili najgore od zabavnog i hororičnog te da su mladi najbolje reagirali. Kakav spoj vlada u "Kumeku"? Je li ovo film i za mlade gledatelje?
– "Kumek" ima zaigranu dramaturšku strukturu i montiran je na način da leti. Ljudi ispod četrdeset ga obožavaju, a oni stariji, koji su preživjeli Milana Bandića, e ti bi htjeli da Bandić sutra nakon premijere da ostavku. U tonu je to jedan humorističan film. Na dijelovima vam zastane kost u grlu. Ali tako i treba biti: Milan Bandić je naša zaostala kost u grlu.

Prošle godine promijenili ste ime u "Milan Bandić" i pod tim ste se imenom kandidirali na predsjedničkim izborima. Kako to da niste film o Bandiću potpisali kao "Milan Bandić", da stvar bude metafilmskija?
– Promijenio sam ime, pa su se Ministarstvo uprave, ministar Ivan Malenica i Grad Zagreb urotili protiv mene i oduzeli mi ga pa sada vodim sudske bitke s njima. Pobjeđujem, naravno. Ali legalist sam i čekam da sud ponovno donese presudu.

Kakva bi bila Hrvatska, a kakav Zagreb da je "Milan Bandić" dobio izbore?
– Lakše bi se disalo. I bilo bi sigurno više nade.

Bi li onda bilo "Kumeka"?
– Našlo bi se vremena. Obveza je obveza.

Jesu li vaši performansi tijekom kampanje bili "zagrijavanje", odnosno priprema za "Kumeka"?
– Nisu. Bile su to zapravo relativno odvojene stvari. Kako je kampanja bila iznimno uspješna, morala je, uz moje negodovanje, ući u film.

Bandić je došao na premijeru, ali nije ostao da pogleda film. Što mislite kako bi reagirao na viđeno da jest?
– Bandić nije došao na premijeru, nego je došao u predvorje kina. To je kukavica. Nije htio dati čak ni intervju za film. Taj lik samo bježi.

Izjavili ste da je tim potezom Bandić "izgubio (lokalne) izbore", ali neki tumače da ih je svojim dolaskom možda i opet dobio ili, barem, svakako najavio "neumornu" utrku za njih?
– Uprizorio se u trenirci s natpisom "neumoran". Jedva je stajao na nogama i piskutavim, jedva čujnim glasićem izgovarao opsjene. Na njegovu kandidaturu ne bih gubio vrijeme.

Snimajući film pokušali ste dobiti Bandića za razgovor, ali niste uspjeli. Da jeste, što biste ga pitali?
– Nije da nisam uspio, nego je djedica odbio. Jednom je izveo cijeli show: rekao je da nije on Bob Geldof i da ne daje intervjue. Kako je u blizini bila hrpa novinara koji su ga čuli, ispravio se i rekao: "Ja svaki dan dajem intervju građanima Zagreba." Jeftini demagog.

Je li ovo univerzalan film, za sve gradonačelnike i političare Hrvatske i svijeta, ne samo Bandića?
– Naravno. U svakom od filmova bavim se mehanizmima, pa tako želim vjerovati da je "Kumek" univerzalan film u kojem će ljudi lako prepoznati svoju okolinu, a bome i sebe. 

Serijal "Gazda" trebao bi činiti četiri filma. O kome će biti idući film?
– Četvrti, posljednji film iz serijala "Gazda" je moj razgovor s Bogom. Film je podijeljen na tri dijela: Jeruzalem, Međugorje i Hrvatsku. Čini mi se da je Isus Krist zadnji veliki gazda u Hrvatskoj kojeg nisam obradio. Bit će to zanimljiva avantura!

Dokumentarni film "Gazda: Početak" Darija Juričana bio je iznimno gledan u splitskoj Kinoteci početkom 2018. i zasigurno je pridonio njegovu ukupnom statusu kinohita. "Gazda: Početak" dugo je ostao na repertoaru, moguće i rekordno dugo za neki film u Kinoteci u novije vrijeme.

Stoga, prirodno je da novi Juričanov dokumentarac, treći iz serijala "Gazda", ima dalmatinsku i splitsku premijeru baš u Kinoteci. Ovog utorka Dalmatinci i Splićani upoznat će "Kumeka".

"Gazda" je govorio o Ivici Todoriću, "Gazda: Početak" o Miroslavu Kutli, a "Kumek" o Milanu Bandiću. Što mislite kako će proteći upoznavanje Splićana s "Kumekom"?
– Svaka lokalna zajednica ima svoje "kumeke". Splićani će lako u Milanu Bandiću prepoznati domaćeg populističkog tribuna vulgaris, baš kao i mudre misli domaćeg puka.

U Zagrebu su prvog dana planule ulaznice za sve dostupne projekcije. Mislite li da će tako biti i u Splitu? Je li Bandić više "zagrebačka priča" da bi bio Splićanima ekstra zanimljiv ili "hrvatska"?
– Mislim da će ulaznice otići. Bandić je tipična hrvatska priča. Jezivi zombi koji se ne da.

"Gazda: Početak" našao se i na repertoaru pojedinih multipleksa "Cinestar" kao dokumentarac blockbuster potencijala. "Kumek" ipak nije, kako to? Kako su reagirala ostala kina?
– "Cinestar" ima jedno nezgodno pravilo da film mora imati dosta veliki poček za TV premijeru. Inače bih se složio s njima, ali ovaj put situacija je dramatično drugačija. Ljudi zaziru od odlaska u kino, u zraku je napetost i ja ih razumijem. Nadam se dogovoru s televizijom kako bi film vidjeli svi.

U intervjuu u povodu tog filma rekli ste nam da ste spojili najbolje ili najgore od zabavnog i hororičnog te da su mladi najbolje reagirali. Kakav spoj vlada u "Kumeku"? Je li ovo film i za mlade gledatelje?
– "Kumek" ima zaigranu dramaturšku strukturu i montiran je na način da leti. Ljudi ispod četrdeset ga obožavaju, a oni stariji, koji su preživjeli Milana Bandića, e ti bi htjeli da Bandić sutra nakon premijere da ostavku. U tonu je to jedan humorističan film. Na dijelovima vam zastane kost u grlu. Ali tako i treba biti: Milan Bandić je naša zaostala kost u grlu.

Prošle godine promijenili ste ime u "Milan Bandić" i pod tim ste se imenom kandidirali na predsjedničkim izborima. Kako to da niste film o Bandiću potpisali kao "Milan Bandić", da stvar bude metafilmskija?
– Promijenio sam ime, pa su se Ministarstvo uprave, ministar Ivan Malenica i Grad Zagreb urotili protiv mene i oduzeli mi ga pa sada vodim sudske bitke s njima. Pobjeđujem, naravno. Ali legalist sam i čekam da sud ponovno donese presudu.

Kakva bi bila Hrvatska, a kakav Zagreb da je "Milan Bandić" dobio izbore?
– Lakše bi se disalo. I bilo bi sigurno više nade.

Bi li onda bilo "Kumeka"?
– Našlo bi se vremena. Obveza je obveza.

Jesu li vaši performansi tijekom kampanje bili "zagrijavanje", odnosno priprema za "Kumeka"?
– Nisu. Bile su to zapravo relativno odvojene stvari. Kako je kampanja bila iznimno uspješna, morala je, uz moje negodovanje, ući u film.

Bandić je došao na premijeru, ali nije ostao da pogleda film. Što mislite kako bi reagirao na viđeno da jest?
– Bandić nije došao na premijeru, nego je došao u predvorje kina. To je kukavica. Nije htio dati čak ni intervju za film. Taj lik samo bježi.

Izjavili ste da je tim potezom Bandić "izgubio (lokalne) izbore", ali neki tumače da ih je svojim dolaskom možda i opet dobio ili, barem, svakako najavio "neumornu" utrku za njih?
– Uprizorio se u trenirci s natpisom "neumoran". Jedva je stajao na nogama i piskutavim, jedva čujnim glasićem izgovarao opsjene. Na njegovu kandidaturu ne bih gubio vrijeme.

Snimajući film pokušali ste dobiti Bandića za razgovor, ali niste uspjeli. Da jeste, što biste ga pitali?
– Nije da nisam uspio, nego je djedica odbio. Jednom je izveo cijeli show: rekao je da nije on Bob Geldof i da ne daje intervjue. Kako je u blizini bila hrpa novinara koji su ga čuli, ispravio se i rekao: "Ja svaki dan dajem intervju građanima Zagreba." Jeftini demagog.

Je li ovo univerzalan film, za sve gradonačelnike i političare Hrvatske i svijeta, ne samo Bandića?
– Naravno. U svakom od filmova bavim se mehanizmima, pa tako želim vjerovati da je "Kumek" univerzalan film u kojem će ljudi lako prepoznati svoju okolinu, a bome i sebe. 

Serijal "Gazda" trebao bi činiti četiri filma. O kome će biti idući film?
– Četvrti, posljednji film iz serijala "Gazda" je moj razgovor s Bogom. Film je podijeljen na tri dijela: Jeruzalem, Međugorje i Hrvatsku. Čini mi se da je Isus Krist zadnji veliki gazda u Hrvatskoj kojeg nisam obradio. Bit će to zanimljiva avantura!
