Amazon je sa serijom "Gospodin i gospođa Smith"/"Mr. And Mrs Smith", remakeom istoimenog hit-filma iz 2005., napravio nešto što mu dosad baš i nije bila praksa.
Naime, svih osam epizoda serije pušteno je odjednom, a ne da se, prema običaju, najprije prikažu dvije ili maksimalno tri epizode pa onda ostatak uslijedi u jednotjednom ritmu.
Na ovaj način, "Gospodin i gospođa Smith" može se "binđati" odmah od premijernog vikenda nadalje umjesto da se za "binđ" čeka emitiranje posljednje epizode.
Je li se Amazon priklanja trendu, pokazat će emitiranje idućih serija ovog streaming servisa. Dotad, važnije pitanje je kakva je serija "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" u odnosu na slavni film.

Sudeći po ehu krajnje pozitivnih stranih kritika, serijski Smithovi ispadaju dostojni filmskih, pa čak i superiorni. Ovaj kritičar ne bi išao tako daleko.
No, dobra je vijest da je serija "Gospodin i gospođa Smith" ispala okej(ish), ni blizu loša ili isforsirana kao što se moglo činiti da hoće zbog načelne nepotrebnosti, premda najbolji (i rijetki iole vrijedni) serijski remake nekog filma još uvijek ostaje prošlogodišnji "Dead Ringers".
Pod "isforsirana" misli se na to da "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" angažmanom glavnih glumaca tipuje na posvemašnju političku korektnost i diverzitet.
Lik Johna Smitha u nekadašnjem tumačenju Brada Pitta sad je tamnoput i igra ga John Glover , koji seriju supotpisuje i kao kreator s Francescom Sloane , a Angelinu Jolie kao Jane mijenja Azijatkinja Maya Erskine .
Zanimljivo, serija kao da je svjesna toga pa u samoironičnom uvodu, prilikom predstavljanja likova, Jane eksplicitno govori da je (polu)Japanka, a John da je Afroamerikanac.

Pohvalno je i da serija nije doslovna kopija filma. Pitt i Jolie glumili su supružnike koji nakon nekoliko godina braka otkrivaju da su špijuni zaposleni u konkurentskim agencijama.
U seriji je situacija obratna: Glover i Erskine su špijuni na tajnom zadatku pod krinkom supružnika, k tome jedni od nekoliko špijunskih bračnih parova s prezimenom Smith.
Dakle, serija ide drukčijom rutom od filma, što ima smisla s obzirom da aktualni tumači likova nisu ni blizu glamurozni kao njihovi prethodnici, niti je njihova kemija zapaljiva da stvori novu "Brangelinu".
Možda bi bilo drukčije da su u glavnim ulogama ostali Alexander Skarsgård i Eiza Gonzales koje upoznajemo kao prve Smithove u uvodnoj sceni ili drugi Smithovi Wagner Moura i Parker Posey , tj. da je barem Ursula Corbero uletjela kao zamjena za Angelinu.

Uzgred, spomenuti glumci nisu jedine poznate face u "cameo" ulogama, tu su i Paul Dano , John Turturro , Sarah Paulson , Ron Perlman i Michaela Coel kako bi pojavom dinamizirali zbivanja serije koja se u zvjezdanom, ali i špijunsko-akcijskom smislu ne može mjeriti s filmom "Gospodin i gospođa Smith".
Akcija je skromnih dometa (potjere, puškaranje), bez neke iole spektakularnije scene, a glumci nisu akcijski pretjerano uvjerljivi, posebice ne Erskine, s obzirom da su oboje prvenstveno komičari. Zapravo, novi "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" ponajprije je romantična komedija.
Kao takva, serija povremeno biva solidna dok prati likove koji se od potpunih stranaca pretvaraju u prisne ljubavnike i glumeći par doista i postaju par.
Serija je najbolja kad koketira s verbalno intoniranim "indie" rom-comom o muško-ženskim odnosima ("Brak je kuća koju izgradiš") s elementima eksplozivne akcije prema receptu iz filma. Brak je kuća koju izgradiš i koja, nadodajmo, može eksplodirati.

Amazon je sa serijom "Gospodin i gospođa Smith"/"Mr. And Mrs Smith", remakeom istoimenog hit-filma iz 2005., napravio nešto što mu dosad baš i nije bila praksa.
Naime, svih osam epizoda serije pušteno je odjednom, a ne da se, prema običaju, najprije prikažu dvije ili maksimalno tri epizode pa onda ostatak uslijedi u jednotjednom ritmu.
Na ovaj način, "Gospodin i gospođa Smith" može se "binđati" odmah od premijernog vikenda nadalje umjesto da se za "binđ" čeka emitiranje posljednje epizode.
Je li se Amazon priklanja trendu, pokazat će emitiranje idućih serija ovog streaming servisa. Dotad, važnije pitanje je kakva je serija "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" u odnosu na slavni film.

Sudeći po ehu krajnje pozitivnih stranih kritika, serijski Smithovi ispadaju dostojni filmskih, pa čak i superiorni. Ovaj kritičar ne bi išao tako daleko.
No, dobra je vijest da je serija "Gospodin i gospođa Smith" ispala okej(ish), ni blizu loša ili isforsirana kao što se moglo činiti da hoće zbog načelne nepotrebnosti, premda najbolji (i rijetki iole vrijedni) serijski remake nekog filma još uvijek ostaje prošlogodišnji "Dead Ringers".
Pod "isforsirana" misli se na to da "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" angažmanom glavnih glumaca tipuje na posvemašnju političku korektnost i diverzitet.
Lik Johna Smitha u nekadašnjem tumačenju Brada Pitta sad je tamnoput i igra ga John Glover , koji seriju supotpisuje i kao kreator s Francescom Sloane , a Angelinu Jolie kao Jane mijenja Azijatkinja Maya Erskine .
Zanimljivo, serija kao da je svjesna toga pa u samoironičnom uvodu, prilikom predstavljanja likova, Jane eksplicitno govori da je (polu)Japanka, a John da je Afroamerikanac.

Pohvalno je i da serija nije doslovna kopija filma. Pitt i Jolie glumili su supružnike koji nakon nekoliko godina braka otkrivaju da su špijuni zaposleni u konkurentskim agencijama.
U seriji je situacija obratna: Glover i Erskine su špijuni na tajnom zadatku pod krinkom supružnika, k tome jedni od nekoliko špijunskih bračnih parova s prezimenom Smith.
Dakle, serija ide drukčijom rutom od filma, što ima smisla s obzirom da aktualni tumači likova nisu ni blizu glamurozni kao njihovi prethodnici, niti je njihova kemija zapaljiva da stvori novu "Brangelinu".
Možda bi bilo drukčije da su u glavnim ulogama ostali Alexander Skarsgård i Eiza Gonzales koje upoznajemo kao prve Smithove u uvodnoj sceni ili drugi Smithovi Wagner Moura i Parker Posey , tj. da je barem Ursula Corbero uletjela kao zamjena za Angelinu.

Uzgred, spomenuti glumci nisu jedine poznate face u "cameo" ulogama, tu su i Paul Dano , John Turturro , Sarah Paulson , Ron Perlman i Michaela Coel kako bi pojavom dinamizirali zbivanja serije koja se u zvjezdanom, ali i špijunsko-akcijskom smislu ne može mjeriti s filmom "Gospodin i gospođa Smith".
Akcija je skromnih dometa (potjere, puškaranje), bez neke iole spektakularnije scene, a glumci nisu akcijski pretjerano uvjerljivi, posebice ne Erskine, s obzirom da su oboje prvenstveno komičari. Zapravo, novi "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" ponajprije je romantična komedija.
Kao takva, serija povremeno biva solidna dok prati likove koji se od potpunih stranaca pretvaraju u prisne ljubavnike i glumeći par doista i postaju par.
Serija je najbolja kad koketira s verbalno intoniranim "indie" rom-comom o muško-ženskim odnosima ("Brak je kuća koju izgradiš") s elementima eksplozivne akcije prema receptu iz filma. Brak je kuća koju izgradiš i koja, nadodajmo, može eksplodirati.
