Prvijenac ženskog dua Auguste zapravo je projekt "trodijelnog" tima jer Ivani Lulić i Gordani Marković svakako valja uz bok staviti i Tomislava Franju Šuška (Ramirez, Pavel, Kinoklub, Vatra...) kao producenta, i "Katice za sve" albuma. Uostalom, Šušak je albumu osigurao zanimljiv instrumentalni uvod ("Intro") kao logičnu najavu onoga što slijedi: kantautorski indie-folk pop s naglaskom na akustičnim gitarama, ali s toliko inteligentnih "umetaka" (za koje je zaslužan Šušak, koji je u studiju odradio lavovski dio i sviračkog posla) da vam ni u jednom trenutku nije dosadno zbog predvidljivosti zvučne slike.

No, naravno, glavni adut prvijenca su odlični vokali, pametna, no ne i razmetljiva višeglasja, te sirupasto priljepčive melodije koje se lijepe već na prvo slušanje. "Ona" (indie folk biser) i "Magla" (zgodna stilizacija s mrvu jazzy štiha) već su znani singlovi, baš kao i živahna "Budiš more", no ostatak albuma nije puka ispuna. Dapače. "Između redova" je nježan akustičarski broj ispovjednoga kantautorskog iskaza, kojem su temelje udarili angloamerički predšasnici još u kasnim šezdesetima, s minimalističkim aranžmanom koji podcrtava željenu melankoličnu atmosferu kakvu ste, recimo, mogli naći kod Jima Crocea.
"I kako sad" je dojmljiva mid-tempo balada, a "Tražiš neki razlog" izvanserijska jazzy tema s odličnim klavirom Tomislava Leke, kontrabasom Marka Radića i bubnjem Jerka Jurina. Skladba je – baš kao i "rokerskija" pop-rock balada "Sjajim" – dobrodošao žanrovski "ugradbeni element" koji je odlično uklopljen u dominantni folk iskaz koji, uzgred rečeno, zagovara sljedeći broj "Satovi dugo stoje" (u kojoj možete naći i nešto od šarma vremešne "Lady Jane"). Album završava sjajnom klavirskom "Nije dovoljno" te atmosferskom "Pričom za laku noć".
Prvijenac Auguste još je jedan bjelodan dokaz da se na domaćoj sceni, svemu usprkos, ispilila nova generacija odličnih glazbenika koji su, i autorski i izvođački potentni, iskoristili svoju priliku za afirmaciju kroz klupsku (nažalost, mahom samo zagrebačku) scenu. Doduše, na velike naklade i veliku prisutnost u mainstream medijima ili na televiziji uglavnom mogu zaboraviti, no možda je uzlet baš zbog toga još značajniji i slađi.

Prvijenac ženskog dua Auguste zapravo je projekt "trodijelnog" tima jer Ivani Lulić i Gordani Marković svakako valja uz bok staviti i Tomislava Franju Šuška (Ramirez, Pavel, Kinoklub, Vatra...) kao producenta, i "Katice za sve" albuma. Uostalom, Šušak je albumu osigurao zanimljiv instrumentalni uvod ("Intro") kao logičnu najavu onoga što slijedi: kantautorski indie-folk pop s naglaskom na akustičnim gitarama, ali s toliko inteligentnih "umetaka" (za koje je zaslužan Šušak, koji je u studiju odradio lavovski dio i sviračkog posla) da vam ni u jednom trenutku nije dosadno zbog predvidljivosti zvučne slike.

No, naravno, glavni adut prvijenca su odlični vokali, pametna, no ne i razmetljiva višeglasja, te sirupasto priljepčive melodije koje se lijepe već na prvo slušanje. "Ona" (indie folk biser) i "Magla" (zgodna stilizacija s mrvu jazzy štiha) već su znani singlovi, baš kao i živahna "Budiš more", no ostatak albuma nije puka ispuna. Dapače. "Između redova" je nježan akustičarski broj ispovjednoga kantautorskog iskaza, kojem su temelje udarili angloamerički predšasnici još u kasnim šezdesetima, s minimalističkim aranžmanom koji podcrtava željenu melankoličnu atmosferu kakvu ste, recimo, mogli naći kod Jima Crocea.
"I kako sad" je dojmljiva mid-tempo balada, a "Tražiš neki razlog" izvanserijska jazzy tema s odličnim klavirom Tomislava Leke, kontrabasom Marka Radića i bubnjem Jerka Jurina. Skladba je – baš kao i "rokerskija" pop-rock balada "Sjajim" – dobrodošao žanrovski "ugradbeni element" koji je odlično uklopljen u dominantni folk iskaz koji, uzgred rečeno, zagovara sljedeći broj "Satovi dugo stoje" (u kojoj možete naći i nešto od šarma vremešne "Lady Jane"). Album završava sjajnom klavirskom "Nije dovoljno" te atmosferskom "Pričom za laku noć".
Prvijenac Auguste još je jedan bjelodan dokaz da se na domaćoj sceni, svemu usprkos, ispilila nova generacija odličnih glazbenika koji su, i autorski i izvođački potentni, iskoristili svoju priliku za afirmaciju kroz klupsku (nažalost, mahom samo zagrebačku) scenu. Doduše, na velike naklade i veliku prisutnost u mainstream medijima ili na televiziji uglavnom mogu zaboraviti, no možda je uzlet baš zbog toga još značajniji i slađi.
