Nešto više od dvije tisuće vjernika iz Imotskog, ali i mnogih župa Imotske krajine, sudjelovalo je u utorak na velikom misnom slavlju u župnoj crkvi svetoga Franje, te veličanstvenoj procesiji u povodu blagdana sveca utemeljitelja franjevačkog reda.

Ovom završnom misnom slavlju prethodila je devetnica u župnoj crkvi uz niz prigodnih svečanosti posvećenima zaštitniku imotske župe, poput čina preminuća svetog Franje, bdijenja, te prigodnih molitvi. Također, mladi pripadnici imotske Frame dali su svoja obećanja.

U svečanoj procesiji ulicama Imotskog sudjelovao je veliki pjevački zbor župe, zatim po tradiciji svirali su članovi Hrvatskog puhačkog orkestra Gradske glazbe pod ravnanjem maestra prof. Ljubomira Glibote, nošeni su barjaci imotske župe, a cijelu procesiju vodio je bivši imotski gvardijan fra Kristian Stipanović.

Svetu misu predvodio je vikar župe Drinovci fra Dario Galić uz koncelebraciju braće franjevaca iz mnogih imotskih župa. Inače, uz slavlje i procesiju u povodu blagdana zaštitnice Imotskog i Imotske krajine Gospe od Anđela, te procesije za Tijelovo, slavlje blagdana svetoga Franje s procesijom najveće je okupljanje vjernika župe Imotski, ali i vjernika mnogih okolnih župa.

Nešto više od dvije tisuće vjernika iz Imotskog, ali i mnogih župa Imotske krajine, sudjelovalo je u utorak na velikom misnom slavlju u župnoj crkvi svetoga Franje, te veličanstvenoj procesiji u povodu blagdana sveca utemeljitelja franjevačkog reda.

Ovom završnom misnom slavlju prethodila je devetnica u župnoj crkvi uz niz prigodnih svečanosti posvećenima zaštitniku imotske župe, poput čina preminuća svetog Franje, bdijenja, te prigodnih molitvi. Također, mladi pripadnici imotske Frame dali su svoja obećanja.

U svečanoj procesiji ulicama Imotskog sudjelovao je veliki pjevački zbor župe, zatim po tradiciji svirali su članovi Hrvatskog puhačkog orkestra Gradske glazbe pod ravnanjem maestra prof. Ljubomira Glibote, nošeni su barjaci imotske župe, a cijelu procesiju vodio je bivši imotski gvardijan fra Kristian Stipanović.

Svetu misu predvodio je vikar župe Drinovci fra Dario Galić uz koncelebraciju braće franjevaca iz mnogih imotskih župa. Inače, uz slavlje i procesiju u povodu blagdana zaštitnice Imotskog i Imotske krajine Gospe od Anđela, te procesije za Tijelovo, slavlje blagdana svetoga Franje s procesijom najveće je okupljanje vjernika župe Imotski, ali i vjernika mnogih okolnih župa.
