Iako se Imoćani nadasve ponose svojim jezerima, zaštićenim spomenicima prirode, koja i dovode u njihov grad većinu turista, svijest nekih da tu dragocjenost treba čuvati ni izdaleka nije na potrebnoj civilizacijskoj razini.

Već nekoliko dana, naime, površinom Crvenog jezera pluta kućni otpad koji je tu bacio neki domicilni neljubitelj prirode. Zbog toga je u dane vikenda organizirana velika akcija čišćenja Crvenog jezera u kojoj su sudjelovali pripadnici HGSS-a, te članovi županijske Javne ustanove “More i krš” i Planinarskog društva “Imotski”.

Pomoć akciji pružili su Turistička zajednica Imota i Grad Imotski. Ante Fedor Kukavica, Branimir Jukić i Jakov Kalajdžić spustili su se do samog jezera koristeći pritom svu potrebnu opremu, kako bi onda pomoću gumenog čamca došli do drvenog otpada koji već nekoliko dana pluta površinom.

– Riječ je o dvoja odbačena drvena vrata te dijelovima flipera. Možete misliti kako je nekome palo na pamet da stari fliper baci u Crveno jezero. Akcija je trajala oko tri sata budući da smo se morali spuštati konopima do same površine jezera jer je njegova razina niska – rekao nam je poznati speleoronilac Branimir Jukić iz Ustanove “More i krš”.

Osim što su u vrlo zahtjevnoj akciji odradili taj dio, vrijedna trojka očistila je od trave i granja prostor ispod vidilice jezera kako bi pogled na jezero bio bolji.

– Raduje me ova akcija i svaka čast momcima koji su je znalački odradili. Apeliram na naše sugrađane da čuvaju jezero, taj prirodni spomenik i zaštićeni prirodni biser, i da ne bacaju otpad, jer tako čine štetu svima nama – rekao je gradonačelnik Ivan Budalić koji je nadgledao akciju.

Iako se Imoćani nadasve ponose svojim jezerima, zaštićenim spomenicima prirode, koja i dovode u njihov grad većinu turista, svijest nekih da tu dragocjenost treba čuvati ni izdaleka nije na potrebnoj civilizacijskoj razini.

Već nekoliko dana, naime, površinom Crvenog jezera pluta kućni otpad koji je tu bacio neki domicilni neljubitelj prirode. Zbog toga je u dane vikenda organizirana velika akcija čišćenja Crvenog jezera u kojoj su sudjelovali pripadnici HGSS-a, te članovi županijske Javne ustanove “More i krš” i Planinarskog društva “Imotski”.

Pomoć akciji pružili su Turistička zajednica Imota i Grad Imotski. Ante Fedor Kukavica, Branimir Jukić i Jakov Kalajdžić spustili su se do samog jezera koristeći pritom svu potrebnu opremu, kako bi onda pomoću gumenog čamca došli do drvenog otpada koji već nekoliko dana pluta površinom.

– Riječ je o dvoja odbačena drvena vrata te dijelovima flipera. Možete misliti kako je nekome palo na pamet da stari fliper baci u Crveno jezero. Akcija je trajala oko tri sata budući da smo se morali spuštati konopima do same površine jezera jer je njegova razina niska – rekao nam je poznati speleoronilac Branimir Jukić iz Ustanove “More i krš”.

Osim što su u vrlo zahtjevnoj akciji odradili taj dio, vrijedna trojka očistila je od trave i granja prostor ispod vidilice jezera kako bi pogled na jezero bio bolji.

– Raduje me ova akcija i svaka čast momcima koji su je znalački odradili. Apeliram na naše sugrađane da čuvaju jezero, taj prirodni spomenik i zaštićeni prirodni biser, i da ne bacaju otpad, jer tako čine štetu svima nama – rekao je gradonačelnik Ivan Budalić koji je nadgledao akciju.
