Državni zavod za statistiku u četvrtak je na svojim službenim stranicama objavio dvije potpuno različite tablice strukture stanovništva prema vjeri po gradovima i općinama: prema jednoj, u Hrvatskoj ima 78,97 posto katolika, a po drugoj njih 83,36 posto, što je u apsolutnim brojevima razlika od 181.000 građana, piše Jutarnji list.
Koja je od ove dvije tablice točna, unatoč pozivima i poslanim upitima u DZS-u, u četvrtak nismo uspjeli saznati. No, dvije različite tablice, obje objavljene na službenim stranicama, pobudile su sumnju u vjerodostojnost ne samo tih podataka te se postavlja pitanje - postoje li dvostruke tablice i za druge pokazatelje, primjerice za nacionalnu strukturu zemlje? Jesu li kompromitirani ključni podaci Popisa stanovništva iz 2021. godine?
DZS je u četvrtak kasno popodne odgovorio da je "tablica koju spominjemo, a koja službeno nije objavljena, kontrolna analitička tablica kao pomoćna tablica za analizu ostalih modaliteta". No, obje su tablice objavljene na službenoj stranici te nije jasno koja je kontrolna (?) i kako zaključiti koja "službeno nije objavljena" s obzirom na to da su se obje nalazile na službenim stranicama, na što su nas upozorili čitatelji.
Državni zavod za statistiku u svojim je popratnim materijalima i tekstovima, poput vizualizacije podataka, koristio podatke iz tablice prema kojoj je u Hrvatskoj 78,97 posto katolika, što je povijesno nizak udio. No, još više su sumnji izazvali neki drugi podaci. Primjerice, takvo dramatično smanjenje udjela katolika, kojih je 2011. godine bilo gotovo 87 posto, "prelilo" se na sasvim neočekivane kategorije. Prema toj tablici je tako udio kršćana koji nisu katolici, pravoslavci ni protestanti, nego su se izjasnili kao "ostali kršćani", narastao s 12.961, odnosno 0,3 posto u 2011. godini, na nevjerojatnih 186.960 ljudi, te s udjelom od 4,83 posto čine drugu najveću religijsku skupinu u državi, odmah nakon katolika!
I druge religije i pokreti narasli su, primjerice, s oko 2500 pripadnika tijekom 2011. godine na njih više od 37.000 lani.
Takvi neobični podaci nisu izraženi samo na nacionalnoj razini, nego i po općinama i gradovima u kojima su neki lokalni čelnici već burno reagirali. Među njima je načelnik Općine Zmijavci, Mijo Šuto (HDZ), koji je za N1 izjavio da su za njegovu općinu objavljeni "nemogući podaci". U općini Zmijavci, naime, kako tvrdi DZS, od ukupno 1654 stanovnika, njih 592 su se izjasnila kao katolici, a dvostruko više njih - precizno 1010 - pripadaju kategoriji "ostale religije, pokreti i svjetonazori".
- To je neka greška. Imali smo neki pad broja stanovništva, ali manjine su prisutne u malom broju i taj podatak je pogreška - tvrdi Šuto i dodaje da će provjeriti točnost podataka DZS-a.
Druga tablica, koju je DZS objavio na svojim stranicama, nudi podatke koji se čine bitno realnijima. I prema tim podacima Hrvatska bilježi značajan pad udjela katolika, no ne tako dramatičan: ima ih 83,63 posto. Spornih "ostalih kršćana" ima oko 25.000 (dakle, dvostruko više nego 2011., a ne 15 puta više, kako pokazuje prva tablica), a onih koji pripadaju "ostalim religijama, pokretima i svjetonazorima" 13.797, trostruko manje nego u prvoj tablici, a u Zmijavcima ih živi - dvoje.
Glavna ravnateljica DZS-a Lidija Brković u četvrtak nije predstavila podatke na konferenciji za novinare, što je dosad bila praksa kad se radi o važnim podacima, a čime bi se izbjegla konfuzija koja je nastala.

Državni zavod za statistiku u četvrtak je na svojim službenim stranicama objavio dvije potpuno različite tablice strukture stanovništva prema vjeri po gradovima i općinama: prema jednoj, u Hrvatskoj ima 78,97 posto katolika, a po drugoj njih 83,36 posto, što je u apsolutnim brojevima razlika od 181.000 građana, piše Jutarnji list.
Koja je od ove dvije tablice točna, unatoč pozivima i poslanim upitima u DZS-u, u četvrtak nismo uspjeli saznati. No, dvije različite tablice, obje objavljene na službenim stranicama, pobudile su sumnju u vjerodostojnost ne samo tih podataka te se postavlja pitanje - postoje li dvostruke tablice i za druge pokazatelje, primjerice za nacionalnu strukturu zemlje? Jesu li kompromitirani ključni podaci Popisa stanovništva iz 2021. godine?
DZS je u četvrtak kasno popodne odgovorio da je "tablica koju spominjemo, a koja službeno nije objavljena, kontrolna analitička tablica kao pomoćna tablica za analizu ostalih modaliteta". No, obje su tablice objavljene na službenoj stranici te nije jasno koja je kontrolna (?) i kako zaključiti koja "službeno nije objavljena" s obzirom na to da su se obje nalazile na službenim stranicama, na što su nas upozorili čitatelji.
Državni zavod za statistiku u svojim je popratnim materijalima i tekstovima, poput vizualizacije podataka, koristio podatke iz tablice prema kojoj je u Hrvatskoj 78,97 posto katolika, što je povijesno nizak udio. No, još više su sumnji izazvali neki drugi podaci. Primjerice, takvo dramatično smanjenje udjela katolika, kojih je 2011. godine bilo gotovo 87 posto, "prelilo" se na sasvim neočekivane kategorije. Prema toj tablici je tako udio kršćana koji nisu katolici, pravoslavci ni protestanti, nego su se izjasnili kao "ostali kršćani", narastao s 12.961, odnosno 0,3 posto u 2011. godini, na nevjerojatnih 186.960 ljudi, te s udjelom od 4,83 posto čine drugu najveću religijsku skupinu u državi, odmah nakon katolika!
I druge religije i pokreti narasli su, primjerice, s oko 2500 pripadnika tijekom 2011. godine na njih više od 37.000 lani.
Takvi neobični podaci nisu izraženi samo na nacionalnoj razini, nego i po općinama i gradovima u kojima su neki lokalni čelnici već burno reagirali. Među njima je načelnik Općine Zmijavci, Mijo Šuto (HDZ), koji je za N1 izjavio da su za njegovu općinu objavljeni "nemogući podaci". U općini Zmijavci, naime, kako tvrdi DZS, od ukupno 1654 stanovnika, njih 592 su se izjasnila kao katolici, a dvostruko više njih - precizno 1010 - pripadaju kategoriji "ostale religije, pokreti i svjetonazori".
- To je neka greška. Imali smo neki pad broja stanovništva, ali manjine su prisutne u malom broju i taj podatak je pogreška - tvrdi Šuto i dodaje da će provjeriti točnost podataka DZS-a.
Druga tablica, koju je DZS objavio na svojim stranicama, nudi podatke koji se čine bitno realnijima. I prema tim podacima Hrvatska bilježi značajan pad udjela katolika, no ne tako dramatičan: ima ih 83,63 posto. Spornih "ostalih kršćana" ima oko 25.000 (dakle, dvostruko više nego 2011., a ne 15 puta više, kako pokazuje prva tablica), a onih koji pripadaju "ostalim religijama, pokretima i svjetonazorima" 13.797, trostruko manje nego u prvoj tablici, a u Zmijavcima ih živi - dvoje.
Glavna ravnateljica DZS-a Lidija Brković u četvrtak nije predstavila podatke na konferenciji za novinare, što je dosad bila praksa kad se radi o važnim podacima, a čime bi se izbjegla konfuzija koja je nastala.
