Teška prometna nesreća dogodila se sinoći u Medvinjaku nadomak Korčule.

Sudarili su se kombi koji vozi kao taxi i vozača motocikla, a kako doznajemo, vozačica taksija nema ozbiljnijih ozljeda, dok je motociklist prevezen hitnom helikopterskom službom u KBC Split.

Neslužbeno doznajemo kako je kombi prešao u suprotan prometni trak pokušavajući preteći pješake na vrlo nezgodnom i nepreglednom zavoju pokraj skretanja za Medvinjak. Budući da je cesta uska i nepregledna, iz suprotne strane je na kombi naletjelo vozilo na dva kotača te su se sudarili.

Naslužbeno, motociklist  jeizvan životne opasnosti, ali s brojnim prijelomima.

Cesta je bila zatvorena gotovo dva sata, promet je preusmjeravan preko Žrnova starom cestom do Žrnovske Banje. Također, vozači koji su iz Kneža ili Račišća planirali putovati do Korčule, morali su skrenuti starom cestom za Žrnovo.

Inače, cesta od Korčule do Račišća na čijoj se dionici dogodila prometna nesreća, jedna je od vodećih po opasnosti na otoku Korčuli, pogotovo tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Prometnica je nepregledna i na mjestima preuska za dvosmjerni promet s brojnim zavojima, a ljeti su uvjeti za vožnju dodatno otežani zbog brojnih pješaka, biciklista i mopedista, a odnedavno i vozača električnih romobila.

Teška prometna nesreća dogodila se sinoći u Medvinjaku nadomak Korčule.

Sudarili su se kombi koji vozi kao taxi i vozača motocikla, a kako doznajemo, vozačica taksija nema ozbiljnijih ozljeda, dok je motociklist prevezen hitnom helikopterskom službom u KBC Split.

Neslužbeno doznajemo kako je kombi prešao u suprotan prometni trak pokušavajući preteći pješake na vrlo nezgodnom i nepreglednom zavoju pokraj skretanja za Medvinjak. Budući da je cesta uska i nepregledna, iz suprotne strane je na kombi naletjelo vozilo na dva kotača te su se sudarili.

Cesta je bila zatvorena gotovo dva sata, promet je preusmjeravan preko Žrnova starom cestom do Žrnovske Banje. Također, vozači koji su iz Kneža ili Račišća planirali putovati do Korčule, morali su skrenuti starom cestom za Žrnovo.

Inače, cesta od Korčule do Račišća na čijoj se dionici dogodila prometna nesreća, jedna je od vodećih po opasnosti na otoku Korčuli, pogotovo tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Prometnica je nepregledna i na mjestima preuska za dvosmjerni promet s brojnim zavojima, a ljeti su uvjeti za vožnju dodatno otežani zbog brojnih pješaka, biciklista i mopedista, a odnedavno i vozača električnih romobila.

Teška prometna nesreća dogodila se sinoći u Medvinjaku nadomak Korčule.

Sudarili su se kombi koji vozi kao taxi i vozača motocikla, a kako doznajemo, vozačica taksija nema ozbiljnijih ozljeda, dok je motociklist prevezen hitnom helikopterskom službom u KBC Split.

Neslužbeno doznajemo kako je kombi prešao u suprotan prometni trak pokušavajući preteći pješake na vrlo nezgodnom i nepreglednom zavoju pokraj skretanja za Medvinjak. Budući da je cesta uska i nepregledna, iz suprotne strane je na kombi naletjelo vozilo na dva kotača te su se sudarili.
