Nakon dvomjesečnog boravka u Beču, gdje je bio podvrgnut operaciji noge i tretmanima oporavka, konj Srebrni vratio se na Brač.
Svoj život duguje članicama otočne udruge "Zemlja za nas", koje su mu, nakon što je doživio prijelom noge, omogućile i osigurale operaciju u austrijskoj prijestolnici. U Hrvatskoj, naime, nije bilo moguće izvesti tako zahtjevan zahvat.
Srebrni je sedmogodišnjak tipa dalmatinskog tovarnog ili bosanskog brdskog konja koji je većinu svojeg života proveo kao radna životinja noseći terete po nepristupačnim bračkim terenima i vrletima. Za njega je sve krenulo po zlu kad je zbog neutvrđenog razloga slomio nogu, a takav nikome nije bio od koristi.
Imao je sreću da su ga još dok je bio zdrav upoznale članice udruge "Zemlje za nas" i s njim se blisko sprijateljile jer su ga često susretale na putu do svojeg imanja. Častile bi ga jabukom, kockom šećera, mrkvom i rogačem. Odmah su stupile u kontakt s njegovim vlasnikom, koji je priznao da nema toliko novca za njegovo liječenje.
– Mi smo predložile, a vlasnik je prihvatio da preuzmemo brigu o konju sa slomljenom nogom i neizvjesnom budućnosti – kazala je Luce Terze iz udruge, te je dodala kako su odmah stupile u kontakt s bračkim veterinarom dr. Matom Čulom, a iz Zagreba je s rendgenskim uređajem stigao njegov kolega dr. Goran Csik.
Dijagnoza je pokazala da je prijeko potrebna operacija koja se može izvesti u Beču.
– Odlučili smo učiniti sve što je u našoj moći da naš četveronožni ljubimac ostane na životu. Pozvali smo sve dobre ljude da nam financijski potpomognu u toj akciji i rezultati nisu izostali – istaknula je Terze.
Tako je Srebrni, umjesto u klaonici, završio na operacijskom stolu. Samo liječenje u Beču koštalo je 9000 eura, a trebalo je namaknuti još 2000 eura za ostale troškove. Dr. Csik je besplatno ustupio svoju prikolicu za prijevoz konja s Brača do Austrije i natrag.
Dvije najveće donacije, i to u iznosu od 4000 eura, stigle su iz SAD-a i BiH, tako da su ukupni troškovi u iznosu od 11 tisuća eura uglavnom podmireni. Još nešto fali, ali...
Zahvat u Beču bio je vrlo zahtjevan i trajao je osam sati. Kost je trebalo ponovno lomiti i sve je to napravljeno s dvije pločice i 17 vijaka. Uz pomoć Bračana, kako smo doznali od naše sugovornice, Srebrnog je dočekala nova štala koja je potrebna za njegovu rehabilitaciju.
Kako bi se oporavio, triput dnevno vode ga u šetnju, te prema uputama veterinara s bečke klinike rade s njim vježbe za nogu. U masliniku pase oštricu, ali obožava i cvjetove maslačka.
– Srebrni je karakteran konj koji kuži stvari i vrlo je lukav. Dresiramo mi njega, ali i on nas. Toliko nam je privržen da, kad smo u kući, dođe do prozora i zaviri u kuhinju, baš poput konjića Pipi Duge Čarape – kazala je na kraju Luce Terze, sretna što su članice udruge "Zemlja za nas" uspjele u misiji spašavanja pametnog i divnog bića.
Treba reći da je bilo i onih koji su skeptično vrtjeli glavom i govorili da su krenuli u nemoguću misiju. Konj će do kraja života biti njihova briga, ali i sreća.

Nakon dvomjesečnog boravka u Beču, gdje je bio podvrgnut operaciji noge i tretmanima oporavka, konj Srebrni vratio se na Brač.
Svoj život duguje članicama otočne udruge "Zemlja za nas", koje su mu, nakon što je doživio prijelom noge, omogućile i osigurale operaciju u austrijskoj prijestolnici. U Hrvatskoj, naime, nije bilo moguće izvesti tako zahtjevan zahvat.
Srebrni je sedmogodišnjak tipa dalmatinskog tovarnog ili bosanskog brdskog konja koji je većinu svojeg života proveo kao radna životinja noseći terete po nepristupačnim bračkim terenima i vrletima. Za njega je sve krenulo po zlu kad je zbog neutvrđenog razloga slomio nogu, a takav nikome nije bio od koristi.
Imao je sreću da su ga još dok je bio zdrav upoznale članice udruge "Zemlje za nas" i s njim se blisko sprijateljile jer su ga često susretale na putu do svojeg imanja. Častile bi ga jabukom, kockom šećera, mrkvom i rogačem. Odmah su stupile u kontakt s njegovim vlasnikom, koji je priznao da nema toliko novca za njegovo liječenje.
– Mi smo predložile, a vlasnik je prihvatio da preuzmemo brigu o konju sa slomljenom nogom i neizvjesnom budućnosti – kazala je Luce Terze iz udruge, te je dodala kako su odmah stupile u kontakt s bračkim veterinarom dr. Matom Čulom, a iz Zagreba je s rendgenskim uređajem stigao njegov kolega dr. Goran Csik.
Dijagnoza je pokazala da je prijeko potrebna operacija koja se može izvesti u Beču.
– Odlučili smo učiniti sve što je u našoj moći da naš četveronožni ljubimac ostane na životu. Pozvali smo sve dobre ljude da nam financijski potpomognu u toj akciji i rezultati nisu izostali – istaknula je Terze.
Tako je Srebrni, umjesto u klaonici, završio na operacijskom stolu. Samo liječenje u Beču koštalo je 9000 eura, a trebalo je namaknuti još 2000 eura za ostale troškove. Dr. Csik je besplatno ustupio svoju prikolicu za prijevoz konja s Brača do Austrije i natrag.
Dvije najveće donacije, i to u iznosu od 4000 eura, stigle su iz SAD-a i BiH, tako da su ukupni troškovi u iznosu od 11 tisuća eura uglavnom podmireni. Još nešto fali, ali...
Zahvat u Beču bio je vrlo zahtjevan i trajao je osam sati. Kost je trebalo ponovno lomiti i sve je to napravljeno s dvije pločice i 17 vijaka. Uz pomoć Bračana, kako smo doznali od naše sugovornice, Srebrnog je dočekala nova štala koja je potrebna za njegovu rehabilitaciju.
Kako bi se oporavio, triput dnevno vode ga u šetnju, te prema uputama veterinara s bečke klinike rade s njim vježbe za nogu. U masliniku pase oštricu, ali obožava i cvjetove maslačka.
– Srebrni je karakteran konj koji kuži stvari i vrlo je lukav. Dresiramo mi njega, ali i on nas. Toliko nam je privržen da, kad smo u kući, dođe do prozora i zaviri u kuhinju, baš poput konjića Pipi Duge Čarape – kazala je na kraju Luce Terze, sretna što su članice udruge "Zemlja za nas" uspjele u misiji spašavanja pametnog i divnog bića.
Treba reći da je bilo i onih koji su skeptično vrtjeli glavom i govorili da su krenuli u nemoguću misiju. Konj će do kraja života biti njihova briga, ali i sreća.
