U Lumbardi, ribarskom mjestu na istoku otoka Korčule, Ivan Perišić, 15-godišnji mladić svjetski slavnog imena i prezimena, porinuo je i krstio drvenu gajetu koju je sam renovirao.
Veselo je bilo na Tatinji, na lumbarajskom lukobranu gdje je porinuta drvena gajeta “pjateška”, stara ni manje ni više nego 74 godine te duga nešto više od šest metara. Dugo nismo čuli da je na ovom škoju krštena drvena barka, a priča je još zanimljivija kad dodamo da je za to zaslužan tinejdžer koji je zaljubljenik u more i brodove.
Ivan Perišić je rođeni Lumbarjanin, ide u drugi razred Srednje škole “Petar Šegedin” iz Korčule, smjer elektromehanika, a gajetu je spasio prije desetak mjeseci od “sprovoda” na Kokojevici, glavnom otočnom odlagalištu otpada.
- Barka je izgrađena 1949. godine, dugo stoji u dvoru partnera moje sestre, mislili su je baciti na Kokojevicu. Ante je već prije plastificirao gajetu, ali nikako nije mogao naći jidro i lantinu, stala je više od desetak godina ispred kuće.
Meni se svidjela, rekao sam da ću je srediti, a on mi je rekao da je uzmem - sramežljivo će momak.
Mladi Lumbarjanin nije gubio vrijeme, od siječnja je svaki slobodan trenutak provodio sređujući svoju “pjatešku”, kako su taj tip brodice nazivali naši stari, vjerojatno zbog kosine dna. Bilo je tu posla i posla, trebalo je nabaviti i stroj i nove pajole, kabinicu...

Pitali smo Perišića kakva će biti daljnja sudbina gajete.
- Ovakve su barke građene za ribolov tako da joj je sudbina da ću ja na njoj još dugo ribariti, ako Bog da, a našli smo i jarbol i jidra pa će uskoro i zajidrit - najavljuje ponosni vlasnik.
Srednjoškolac napominje kako je cijeli život na moru, malo s pokojnim didom, malo s društvom, to je ljubav koja se teško zaboravlja. Ima i manju, plastičnu barku, a bavi se i ribolovom, ronjenjem te voli loviti s kraja na udicu.
Za svoju je “pjatešku” pripremio pravo morsko krštenje, trebala je doći i kuma, kći prijašnjih vlasnika barke, ali imala je neodgodivih obaveza, morala je na Badiju, otkriva Ivan smijući se.

- Bilo je baš lijepo, imali smo šampanjac i vijenac, okupilo se dosta ljudi. Barka se trenutno zove “Mirjana”, to je ime koje su joj dali prijašnji vlasnici, no preimenovat ću je u “Anđela”. Naša mala Anđela je na putu, sestra mi je trudna - kaže Perišić.
Prilikom porinuća za Ivanovu gajetu pripremili su i prigodni tekst koji su svečano recitirali:
“Mirjana naša draga, bila si jako stara; Digli smo ruke od tebe, ali naš mladi Ivan te uzeo za sebe; I učinio ovu ljepoticu od tebe; Sretno i dugo ponosno plovi; Nek se naš Ivan s tobom ponosi”.
Ivan se s “pjateškom” već ponosi, a vjerujemo da će uskoro i zaploviti na jedra onako kako su to najbolje znali stari Korčulani. Nemamo što drugo reći osim - Ivane, vrime je!

U Lumbardi, ribarskom mjestu na istoku otoka Korčule, Ivan Perišić, 15-godišnji mladić svjetski slavnog imena i prezimena, porinuo je i krstio drvenu gajetu koju je sam renovirao.
Veselo je bilo na Tatinji, na lumbarajskom lukobranu gdje je porinuta drvena gajeta “pjateška”, stara ni manje ni više nego 74 godine te duga nešto više od šest metara. Dugo nismo čuli da je na ovom škoju krštena drvena barka, a priča je još zanimljivija kad dodamo da je za to zaslužan tinejdžer koji je zaljubljenik u more i brodove.
Ivan Perišić je rođeni Lumbarjanin, ide u drugi razred Srednje škole “Petar Šegedin” iz Korčule, smjer elektromehanika, a gajetu je spasio prije desetak mjeseci od “sprovoda” na Kokojevici, glavnom otočnom odlagalištu otpada.
- Barka je izgrađena 1949. godine, dugo stoji u dvoru partnera moje sestre, mislili su je baciti na Kokojevicu. Ante je već prije plastificirao gajetu, ali nikako nije mogao naći jidro i lantinu, stala je više od desetak godina ispred kuće.
Meni se svidjela, rekao sam da ću je srediti, a on mi je rekao da je uzmem - sramežljivo će momak.
Mladi Lumbarjanin nije gubio vrijeme, od siječnja je svaki slobodan trenutak provodio sređujući svoju “pjatešku”, kako su taj tip brodice nazivali naši stari, vjerojatno zbog kosine dna. Bilo je tu posla i posla, trebalo je nabaviti i stroj i nove pajole, kabinicu...

Pitali smo Perišića kakva će biti daljnja sudbina gajete.
- Ovakve su barke građene za ribolov tako da joj je sudbina da ću ja na njoj još dugo ribariti, ako Bog da, a našli smo i jarbol i jidra pa će uskoro i zajidrit - najavljuje ponosni vlasnik.
Srednjoškolac napominje kako je cijeli život na moru, malo s pokojnim didom, malo s društvom, to je ljubav koja se teško zaboravlja. Ima i manju, plastičnu barku, a bavi se i ribolovom, ronjenjem te voli loviti s kraja na udicu.
Za svoju je “pjatešku” pripremio pravo morsko krštenje, trebala je doći i kuma, kći prijašnjih vlasnika barke, ali imala je neodgodivih obaveza, morala je na Badiju, otkriva Ivan smijući se.

- Bilo je baš lijepo, imali smo šampanjac i vijenac, okupilo se dosta ljudi. Barka se trenutno zove “Mirjana”, to je ime koje su joj dali prijašnji vlasnici, no preimenovat ću je u “Anđela”. Naša mala Anđela je na putu, sestra mi je trudna - kaže Perišić.
Prilikom porinuća za Ivanovu gajetu pripremili su i prigodni tekst koji su svečano recitirali:
“Mirjana naša draga, bila si jako stara; Digli smo ruke od tebe, ali naš mladi Ivan te uzeo za sebe; I učinio ovu ljepoticu od tebe; Sretno i dugo ponosno plovi; Nek se naš Ivan s tobom ponosi”.
Ivan se s “pjateškom” već ponosi, a vjerujemo da će uskoro i zaploviti na jedra onako kako su to najbolje znali stari Korčulani. Nemamo što drugo reći osim - Ivane, vrime je!
