Za manje od dva mjeseca, točnije 19. kolovoza, 25 korisnika s područja općine Pirovac ostat će bez gerontodomaćica, a one bez posla.
Tada završava provedba projekta "Zaželi – Podrška potrebitima na području Općine Pirovac", koji je iz Europskog socijalnog fonda financiran s nešto manje od 1,6 milijuna kuna. Korisnik nepovratnog novca je Općina, a partneri su šibenski ured Hrvatskog zavoda za zapošljavanje i Centar za socijalnu skrb Šibenik.
- Žao je i nama i našim korisnicima što se provođenje projekta primiče kraju, ali budući da smo projekt prijavili i za treću fazu, nadamo se da će biti odobren i da ćemo moći nastaviti pružati pomoć u kući našim potrebitima još sljedećih šest mjeseci, koliko ta faza traje - kaže Nives Gulam, voditeljica projekta.

Riječ je o prvom programu ovog tipa koji se provodi u najzapadnijoj općini Šibensko-kninske županije i donio je izvrsne rezultate.
- Budući da je bilo vrijeme korone kad smo početkom prošle godine počeli provedbu, imali smo problema s, uvjetno rečeno, pronalaskom korisnika. To su starije osobe kojima je potrebno vrijeme da steknu povjerenje u nešto novo, a onda kad se po mjestu pročulo da se radi o sasvim dobrom i korisnom poslu za njih, interes je rastao i prijave su samo stizale.
Žene zaposlene na projektu su prošle edukaciju za gerontodomaćice, svaka se brine o pet korisnika, dvaput tjedno ih obilaze, a ako treba i češće. Uz to, korisnici mjesečno dobivaju i paket pomoći u namirnicama i higijenskim potrepštinama – ističe voditeljica.
Sada imaju listu čekanja na kojoj je petnaestak imena, jer je sve više zainteresiranih starijih osoba iznad 65 godina, te koju godinu mlađih u nepovoljnom položaju, koji žele njihovu pomoć. Među građanima, a mahom se radi o samcima, samo je jedna osoba iz Kašića, sela u zaleđu općine, a svi ostali su iz Pirovca.

Ženama su odmah dodijeljeni bicikli radi bolje mobilnosti i lakšeg odlaska kod korisnika. Jedan dan u tjednu pomažu u kući: čiste, kuhaju, peru, vode brigu o higijeni i rade sve ostale kućanske poslove, a drugi dan u tjednu koriste za odlazak u nabavku namirnica, lijekova, plaćanje računa i drugih obveza.
- Šteta je što su ovakvi projekti vremenski ograničeni, te što između njih postoji "vakuum", a ljudima je potrebna pomoć. Svi oni žele što je moguće duže ostati živjeti u svojem domu, ne žele u ustanove za starije i nemoćne, nemaju bližnjih koji bi im pomagali ili im djeca žive daleko od njih i povremeno dolaze doma.
Zato želimo vjerovati da će u novoj financijskoj omotnici do 2027. godine biti osigurano više sredstava za ovakve projekte koji će trajati duže, a najbolje rješenje bi bilo kontinuirano, bez prekida – zaključuje Gulam.

Za manje od dva mjeseca, točnije 19. kolovoza, 25 korisnika s područja općine Pirovac ostat će bez gerontodomaćica, a one bez posla.
Tada završava provedba projekta "Zaželi – Podrška potrebitima na području Općine Pirovac", koji je iz Europskog socijalnog fonda financiran s nešto manje od 1,6 milijuna kuna. Korisnik nepovratnog novca je Općina, a partneri su šibenski ured Hrvatskog zavoda za zapošljavanje i Centar za socijalnu skrb Šibenik.
- Žao je i nama i našim korisnicima što se provođenje projekta primiče kraju, ali budući da smo projekt prijavili i za treću fazu, nadamo se da će biti odobren i da ćemo moći nastaviti pružati pomoć u kući našim potrebitima još sljedećih šest mjeseci, koliko ta faza traje - kaže Nives Gulam, voditeljica projekta.

Riječ je o prvom programu ovog tipa koji se provodi u najzapadnijoj općini Šibensko-kninske županije i donio je izvrsne rezultate.
- Budući da je bilo vrijeme korone kad smo početkom prošle godine počeli provedbu, imali smo problema s, uvjetno rečeno, pronalaskom korisnika. To su starije osobe kojima je potrebno vrijeme da steknu povjerenje u nešto novo, a onda kad se po mjestu pročulo da se radi o sasvim dobrom i korisnom poslu za njih, interes je rastao i prijave su samo stizale.
Žene zaposlene na projektu su prošle edukaciju za gerontodomaćice, svaka se brine o pet korisnika, dvaput tjedno ih obilaze, a ako treba i češće. Uz to, korisnici mjesečno dobivaju i paket pomoći u namirnicama i higijenskim potrepštinama – ističe voditeljica.
Sada imaju listu čekanja na kojoj je petnaestak imena, jer je sve više zainteresiranih starijih osoba iznad 65 godina, te koju godinu mlađih u nepovoljnom položaju, koji žele njihovu pomoć. Među građanima, a mahom se radi o samcima, samo je jedna osoba iz Kašića, sela u zaleđu općine, a svi ostali su iz Pirovca.

Ženama su odmah dodijeljeni bicikli radi bolje mobilnosti i lakšeg odlaska kod korisnika. Jedan dan u tjednu pomažu u kući: čiste, kuhaju, peru, vode brigu o higijeni i rade sve ostale kućanske poslove, a drugi dan u tjednu koriste za odlazak u nabavku namirnica, lijekova, plaćanje računa i drugih obveza.
- Šteta je što su ovakvi projekti vremenski ograničeni, te što između njih postoji "vakuum", a ljudima je potrebna pomoć. Svi oni žele što je moguće duže ostati živjeti u svojem domu, ne žele u ustanove za starije i nemoćne, nemaju bližnjih koji bi im pomagali ili im djeca žive daleko od njih i povremeno dolaze doma.
Zato želimo vjerovati da će u novoj financijskoj omotnici do 2027. godine biti osigurano više sredstava za ovakve projekte koji će trajati duže, a najbolje rješenje bi bilo kontinuirano, bez prekida – zaključuje Gulam.
