Nakon 15 uspješnih godina u Bolu, došlo je vrijeme za novu destinaciju, poručuju organizatori WTA turnira iz 125 kategorije.

Njegovo 16. izdanje održat će se od 30. svibnja do 5. lipnja u Makarskoj, za što će se iz gradskog proračuna i ove i sljedeće dvije godine izdvojiti po 900 tisuća kuna.

Igra uz veličanstveni pogled na more, sjajna atmosfera i odlična organizacija ponovo su najjači aduti poznate sportske manifestacije, na kojoj igraju najbolje rangirane tenisačice iz Švedske, Nizozemske, Belgije, Slovačke, Crne Gore, Italije, Kine, Luksemburga, Srbije, Slovenije, Hrvatske, a redovito mu se vraćaju i sve njegove pobjednice.

Feliks Lukas, direktor WTA turnira koji ove godine ima novo ime - WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar zahvalio se Bolu, njegovim stanovnicima i svim partnerima na Braču na iznimnoj suradnji u proteklih šest godina koliko je na čelu turnira.

Kako kazuje, bili su odlični domaćini, ali došlo je vrijeme za novu energiju i novo mjesto.

Dobitna kombinacija

- Grad Makarska s dugogodišnjom sportskom tradicijom i Valamar Riviera kao vodeća turistička grupacija, pravi su partneri za rast i budućnost naše manifestacije.

Uvjeren sam da ćemo i ove godine dovesti kremu ženskog tenisa i napraviti pravi sportski spektakl u predsezoni - ističe Lukas.
Steve Simon, čelni čovjek WTA, kaže kako je naša zemlja uvijek bila snažna podrška ženskom tenisu i WTA turniru.

- Hrvatska je zemlja s iznimnim uspjehom i poviješću u organizaciji vrhunskih turnira koji datiraju od 1991. Radujemo se što će Makarska Open nastaviti našu WTA priču na predivnoj hrvatskoj obali - ističe Simon.

Makarski gradonačelnik Zoran Paunović ističe da smo na dobrom putu da Makarsku pretvorimo u jednu od kvalitetnijih destinacija u Europi.

- Od prvog dana cilj nam je u naš grad dovesti globalno prepoznatljive događaje kao što je WTA turnir. Iznimno sam ponosan što smo uspjeli ovako prestižan turnir dovesti u Makarsku, kao i na suradnju Grada, WTA i Valamara, koji se pokazao kao izvanredan partner lokalnoj zajednici.

WTA turnir prvi je i vrlo važan korak u ostvarenju naše vizije Makarske kao poželjne turističke i sportske destinacije. Siguran sam kako će nam turnir pomoći da se ucrtamo na kartu destinacija koje turistima nude nova iskustva i zanimljive sadržaje - ističe Paunović.

Makarani se uistinu vesele promociji njihovog grada, dolasku vrhunskih tenisačica i uzbudljivim mečevima te se nadaju da će biti jednako dobri domaćini kao i Bol.

Slika optimizma

U Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji ne kriju zadovoljstvo što se turnir i dalje organizira na našem području.

- Riječ je o iznimno važnoj međunarodnoj sportskoj manifestaciji koja promovira našu županiju, Dalmaciju i Hrvatsku. Ovaj je turnir prepoznat kao mjesto iznimno pozitivne atmosfere i uvjeren sam da će tako biti i u Makarskoj, još jednoj prekrasnoj dalmatinskoj destinaciji.

Županija od početka podržava WTA turnir koji u svijet šalje sliku optimizma, a to nam je svima u ovim izazovnim vremenima itekako potrebno - kazao je župan Blaženko Boban.

Alen Benković, viši potpredsjednik za razvoj, održavanje imovine i tehničke servise pri Valamar Rivieri i predsjednik Uprave Imperial Riviere, kazao je da je razvoj destinacija u kojima posluju, dio Valamarove strategije društveno odgovornog poslovanja.

- Radujemo se novom partnerstvu i što ćemo biti generalni pokrovitelji WTA Makarska Open teniskom turniru čiji ćemo ponosni domaćini biti minimalno tri godine na koliko smo za sada potpisali ugovor.

Pokroviteljstvom nad ovim turnirom koje uključuje investiciju u obnovu Tenis centra Makarska koji će biti mjesto odvijanja turnira, ali i rekonstrukcijom Dalmacija Places Hotela koji će biti svečano otvoren upravo za vrijeme trajanja turnira, dokazujemo koliko Valamar grupa vjeruje u Makarsku kao destinaciju te njezin turistički razvoj - poručio je Benković.

Nakon 15 uspješnih godina u Bolu, došlo je vrijeme za novu destinaciju, poručuju organizatori WTA turnira iz 125 kategorije.

Njegovo 16. izdanje održat će se od 30. svibnja do 5. lipnja u Makarskoj, za što će se iz gradskog proračuna i ove i sljedeće dvije godine izdvojiti po 900 tisuća kuna.

Igra uz veličanstveni pogled na more, sjajna atmosfera i odlična organizacija ponovo su najjači aduti poznate sportske manifestacije, na kojoj igraju najbolje rangirane tenisačice iz Švedske, Nizozemske, Belgije, Slovačke, Crne Gore, Italije, Kine, Luksemburga, Srbije, Slovenije, Hrvatske, a redovito mu se vraćaju i sve njegove pobjednice.

Feliks Lukas, direktor WTA turnira koji ove godine ima novo ime - WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar zahvalio se Bolu, njegovim stanovnicima i svim partnerima na Braču na iznimnoj suradnji u proteklih šest godina koliko je na čelu turnira.

Kako kazuje, bili su odlični domaćini, ali došlo je vrijeme za novu energiju i novo mjesto.

Dobitna kombinacija

- Grad Makarska s dugogodišnjom sportskom tradicijom i Valamar Riviera kao vodeća turistička grupacija, pravi su partneri za rast i budućnost naše manifestacije.

Uvjeren sam da ćemo i ove godine dovesti kremu ženskog tenisa i napraviti pravi sportski spektakl u predsezoni - ističe Lukas.
Steve Simon, čelni čovjek WTA, kaže kako je naša zemlja uvijek bila snažna podrška ženskom tenisu i WTA turniru.

- Hrvatska je zemlja s iznimnim uspjehom i poviješću u organizaciji vrhunskih turnira koji datiraju od 1991. Radujemo se što će Makarska Open nastaviti našu WTA priču na predivnoj hrvatskoj obali - ističe Simon.

Makarski gradonačelnik Zoran Paunović ističe da smo na dobrom putu da Makarsku pretvorimo u jednu od kvalitetnijih destinacija u Europi.

- Od prvog dana cilj nam je u naš grad dovesti globalno prepoznatljive događaje kao što je WTA turnir. Iznimno sam ponosan što smo uspjeli ovako prestižan turnir dovesti u Makarsku, kao i na suradnju Grada, WTA i Valamara, koji se pokazao kao izvanredan partner lokalnoj zajednici.

WTA turnir prvi je i vrlo važan korak u ostvarenju naše vizije Makarske kao poželjne turističke i sportske destinacije. Siguran sam kako će nam turnir pomoći da se ucrtamo na kartu destinacija koje turistima nude nova iskustva i zanimljive sadržaje - ističe Paunović.

Makarani se uistinu vesele promociji njihovog grada, dolasku vrhunskih tenisačica i uzbudljivim mečevima te se nadaju da će biti jednako dobri domaćini kao i Bol.

Slika optimizma

U Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji ne kriju zadovoljstvo što se turnir i dalje organizira na našem području.

- Riječ je o iznimno važnoj međunarodnoj sportskoj manifestaciji koja promovira našu županiju, Dalmaciju i Hrvatsku. Ovaj je turnir prepoznat kao mjesto iznimno pozitivne atmosfere i uvjeren sam da će tako biti i u Makarskoj, još jednoj prekrasnoj dalmatinskoj destinaciji.

Županija od početka podržava WTA turnir koji u svijet šalje sliku optimizma, a to nam je svima u ovim izazovnim vremenima itekako potrebno - kazao je župan Blaženko Boban.

Alen Benković, viši potpredsjednik za razvoj, održavanje imovine i tehničke servise pri Valamar Rivieri i predsjednik Uprave Imperial Riviere, kazao je da je razvoj destinacija u kojima posluju, dio Valamarove strategije društveno odgovornog poslovanja.

- Radujemo se novom partnerstvu i što ćemo biti generalni pokrovitelji WTA Makarska Open teniskom turniru čiji ćemo ponosni domaćini biti minimalno tri godine na koliko smo za sada potpisali ugovor.

Pokroviteljstvom nad ovim turnirom koje uključuje investiciju u obnovu Tenis centra Makarska koji će biti mjesto odvijanja turnira, ali i rekonstrukcijom Dalmacija Places Hotela koji će biti svečano otvoren upravo za vrijeme trajanja turnira, dokazujemo koliko Valamar grupa vjeruje u Makarsku kao destinaciju te njezin turistički razvoj - poručio je Benković.
