"Zdrav čovjek ima stotinu želja, a bolestan samo jednu – da ozdravi." Zna to najbolje Željka Bulić-Petrović, Metkovka koja je na vlastitoj koži osjetila udar COVID-a 19. O njemu je puno slušala i čitala, ali kad ju je "strefio", sve su teorije odjednom pale u vodu. Tog jutra, početkom prosinca, probudila ju je bol u kostima, temperatura i opća slabost. Ipak, mislila je da se preforsirala prethodnog dana, da će proći. Ali kako bol nije prolazila i temperatura nije padala, odlučila se testirati.
I nalaz je bio pozitivan na COVID-19.
Dva Metkovca
Tako je naša sugovornica postala dio statistike oboljelih od COVID-a 19 u Metkoviću, koji su se brojili u stotinama.
Nakon nekoliko dana bolovanja kod kuće nije bilo vidljivog napretka. Dapače, bivala je sve lošije, pa je s upalom pluća kao hitan slučaj završila na COVID odjelu dubrovačke Opće bolnice.

I dok nas sa svih strana bombardiraju informacijama o lošim uvjetima po COVID bolnicama, iz kojih, kao što je to bio nedavni slučaj u Splitu, pacijenti bježe, Željka nam je odlučila ispričati nešto sasvim drukčije – pozitivnu priču iz bolnice u Dubrovniku, gdje je dobila svu pomoć i njegu na putu ozdravljenja.
– Hvala medicinskom osoblju i liječnicima, to su divni ljudi – govori Željka, koja se upravo ovih dana vratila kući, gdje će sa svojima najmilijima dočekati Božić.
Ona je u Dubrovniku dobila novu šansu za život.
– Ponovno sam rođena – kaže nam Željka dok se prisjeća početaka svoje borbe s COVID-om, za koji je do zadnjega mislila da će je mimoići.

Ali pošast je ipak zakucala na njezina vrata.
– Kad si u bolnici onako bolestan i bespomoćan, stalno nešto iščekuješ. Osluškuješ glasove iz hodnika, trče li sestre i doktori u neku sobu. Odmah ti je jasno da se nekome stanje pogoršalo i da bi ti mogao biti sljedeći – govori Željka.
Nešto joj se posebno urezalo u sjećanje.
– Još čujem škripu kotačića kolica na kojima voze i žive i mrtve. Najteže mi je bilo kad sam vidjela mrtvog sugrađanina kojega su odvozili s odjela. Ispratila sam dva Metkovca koje sam svakodnevno susretala po gradu. Bili su zdravi ljudi, ali COVID ih je shrvao i na kraju su podlegli. To su mi bili najgori dani u bolnici, preplakala sam ih – prisjeća se Željka.
– Ali sve se lakše prebrodi kad pokraj sebe imate medicinsku sestru koja vam pomaže, donosi hranu i vodu, priključuje kisik. Čitav ti život prostruji pred očima. Medicinsko osoblje u skafanderu, maska, vizir, samo im vidite oči, ali te vam oči daju snagu i nadu – dodaje.
Kod kuće za Božić
– Onda se trgneš. Znam da moram nastaviti svoju borbu, čekaju me sin, sestra, dva brata koji su dobili COVID. Umjesto da ja njima pomažem, ja bespomoćno ležim u bolnici. Strepim za svoje najmilije koji su kod kuće u Metkoviću. To je jako loš osjećaj – govori Željka. Istina, još je malaksala, ali došla je kući svojim najmilijima, s kojima će proslaviti Božić. Bit će to njezin najradosniji Božić, jer je nakon 20-dnevne borbe s COVID-om pobijedila tu pošast.
Pred njom je dug oporavak, no nada se da će se nakon Nove godine vratiti obvezama u amaterskom kazalištu, gdje male Metkovce podučava glumi.

"Zdrav čovjek ima stotinu želja, a bolestan samo jednu – da ozdravi." Zna to najbolje Željka Bulić-Petrović, Metkovka koja je na vlastitoj koži osjetila udar COVID-a 19. O njemu je puno slušala i čitala, ali kad ju je "strefio", sve su teorije odjednom pale u vodu. Tog jutra, početkom prosinca, probudila ju je bol u kostima, temperatura i opća slabost. Ipak, mislila je da se preforsirala prethodnog dana, da će proći. Ali kako bol nije prolazila i temperatura nije padala, odlučila se testirati.
I nalaz je bio pozitivan na COVID-19.
Dva Metkovca
Tako je naša sugovornica postala dio statistike oboljelih od COVID-a 19 u Metkoviću, koji su se brojili u stotinama.
Nakon nekoliko dana bolovanja kod kuće nije bilo vidljivog napretka. Dapače, bivala je sve lošije, pa je s upalom pluća kao hitan slučaj završila na COVID odjelu dubrovačke Opće bolnice.

I dok nas sa svih strana bombardiraju informacijama o lošim uvjetima po COVID bolnicama, iz kojih, kao što je to bio nedavni slučaj u Splitu, pacijenti bježe, Željka nam je odlučila ispričati nešto sasvim drukčije – pozitivnu priču iz bolnice u Dubrovniku, gdje je dobila svu pomoć i njegu na putu ozdravljenja.
– Hvala medicinskom osoblju i liječnicima, to su divni ljudi – govori Željka, koja se upravo ovih dana vratila kući, gdje će sa svojima najmilijima dočekati Božić.
Ona je u Dubrovniku dobila novu šansu za život.
– Ponovno sam rođena – kaže nam Željka dok se prisjeća početaka svoje borbe s COVID-om, za koji je do zadnjega mislila da će je mimoići.

Ali pošast je ipak zakucala na njezina vrata.
– Kad si u bolnici onako bolestan i bespomoćan, stalno nešto iščekuješ. Osluškuješ glasove iz hodnika, trče li sestre i doktori u neku sobu. Odmah ti je jasno da se nekome stanje pogoršalo i da bi ti mogao biti sljedeći – govori Željka.
Nešto joj se posebno urezalo u sjećanje.
– Još čujem škripu kotačića kolica na kojima voze i žive i mrtve. Najteže mi je bilo kad sam vidjela mrtvog sugrađanina kojega su odvozili s odjela. Ispratila sam dva Metkovca koje sam svakodnevno susretala po gradu. Bili su zdravi ljudi, ali COVID ih je shrvao i na kraju su podlegli. To su mi bili najgori dani u bolnici, preplakala sam ih – prisjeća se Željka.
– Ali sve se lakše prebrodi kad pokraj sebe imate medicinsku sestru koja vam pomaže, donosi hranu i vodu, priključuje kisik. Čitav ti život prostruji pred očima. Medicinsko osoblje u skafanderu, maska, vizir, samo im vidite oči, ali te vam oči daju snagu i nadu – dodaje.
Kod kuće za Božić
– Onda se trgneš. Znam da moram nastaviti svoju borbu, čekaju me sin, sestra, dva brata koji su dobili COVID. Umjesto da ja njima pomažem, ja bespomoćno ležim u bolnici. Strepim za svoje najmilije koji su kod kuće u Metkoviću. To je jako loš osjećaj – govori Željka. Istina, još je malaksala, ali došla je kući svojim najmilijima, s kojima će proslaviti Božić. Bit će to njezin najradosniji Božić, jer je nakon 20-dnevne borbe s COVID-om pobijedila tu pošast.
Pred njom je dug oporavak, no nada se da će se nakon Nove godine vratiti obvezama u amaterskom kazalištu, gdje male Metkovce podučava glumi.
