Nevjerojatno je koliko naš čovjek drži do kulture.

On ne mora biti pasionirani čitatelj lijepe književnosti, operni pretplatnik, filmofil ili zaljubljenik u likovnu umjetnost, ali ipak nepogrešivo prepoznaje trenutak kad se domovinska uljudba nađe u ozbiljnome škripcu. A ima ih, itekako ih ima, tih trenutaka.

Toliko su učestali da bismo trebali utemeljiti službu motrenja i izviđanja, koja će promptno dojavljivati kad se na obzoru ukaže prijetnja. Hvala bogu, naš čovjek već motri i izviđa, nema dana da on nešto ne opazi, ali bi bio grijeh da se tim poslom nastavi baviti amaterski, bez institucionalne potpore i primjerene nagrade za iskazani trud.

Kao što imamo sustav protuzračne obrane, oslonjen na sofisticirane radare, mogli bismo ustanoviti i mrežu izvidničkih postaja koje će registrirati nenarodne, pače, protunarodne prijetnje u eteru. I čim se nagovijesti sama mogućnost da će u nekome dijelu lijepe naše odjekivati glazba nedostojna njegovanih hrvatskih ušiju, da se poduzmu odgovarajući koraci, kao što su to prošloga tjedna napravili Đurđevčani.

Oni nisu čekali da se incident dogodi, nego su ga elegantno prevenirali uredbom da se u mjesnim lokalima za trajanja Picokijade – jedne izrazito kulturne manifestacije, nadaleko čuvene po rafiniranosti – ne smije puštati glazba s bliskog istoka (ne mislim na onaj koji se zove i Srednjim istokom, nego na nama najbliži bliski, iz neposrednog susjedstva).

Na sličnome tragu našli su se i kaštelanski patrioti iz Domovinskog pokreta. Čim je objavljena vijest da će Barbarinac postati Varvarinac, jer će tamo nastupiti Aca Lukas, Jelena Karleuša i Haris Džinović, oni su sročili prosvjedno pismo iz ne‘š majci žanra. Tamo, među ostalim, stoji i sljedeće: "Domovinski pokret Kaštela smatra da ovaj glazbeni izričaj ne pripada našem podneblju te kako moramo čuvati mediteransku i europsku kulturu kojoj pripadamo. Festival osim lokalaca posjećuju mnogi domaći i strani turisti. Glazba oblikuje našu stvarnost i društvenu filozofiju, a navedeni izvođači pripadaju nekom drugom identitetu."

Hajdemo redom. Ideja da bi neka glazba, bilo koja, bilo čija, bilo kada, nekom podneblju trebala pripadati, a nekom drugom ne bi, naprosto je s one strane pameti, jer počiva na grotesknoj pretpostavci da je i zvukove potrebno deklarirati na granici kad vas carinik upita imate li što prijaviti. Nadalje, osim klapske i tamburaške muzike, za koju bismo to glazbu uopće mogli reći kako pripada našem podneblju?

Pripadaju li nam, recimo, portugalski fado, kubanska salsa, brazilska samba, američki blues, irski folk? Kad ćemo zatražiti čišćenje etera od Amálie Rodrigues, Elze Soares, Isaaca Delgada, B. B. Kinga, Dublinersa?

Kaštelanski patrioti uživljeni su u ulogu branitelja mediteranske kulture. To je, dakako, zgodno, ali bi bilo još i zgodnije da su prije pisanja prosvjedne objave prelistali atlas. Tamo bi vidjeli da, baš kao i Hrvatska, Mediteranu pripadaju i, recimo, Turska, Maroko, Sirija... Dirljivo je čuti da se neki našijenci zauzimaju za prebogatu kulturnu baštinu tih država, ali se nekako bojim da nam oni to ipak nisu htjeli poručiti.

O glazbi koja "oblikuje našu stvarnost i društvenu filozofiju" ne bih, jer polemika s nasumično nabacanim riječima naprosto nije moguća, ali ne mogu ignorirati opasku kako izvođači koji su trebali nastupiti na Barbarincu "pripadaju nekom drugom identitetu". Svatko od nas pripada nekom drugom identitetu, jer je svako svakcijato čeljade jedinstveno, drukčije, samosvojno i neponovljivo. Autori pisma očito se nisu bavili pitanjem pojedinačnih nego grupnih identiteta.

Lukas, Karleuša i Džinović sigurno ih imaju nekoliko, jer su glazbenici, prvo dvoje su i Beograđani, Haris je Sarajlija, možda se identificiraju i kao navijači nekih klubova... No čisto sumnjam da je kaštelanske domovince za to briga. Jedino što njih svrbi jest pitanje nacionalnosti – činjenica da su dvoje nedobrodošlih gostiju Srbi, a jedan Bošnjak – pa se oni češu li ga češu.

Poslije svega, mene muči samo jedna stvar. Zašto su nepokorivi Kaštelani naškrabali okruglo pa na ćoše pismo, obilazeći oko merituma stvari kao kiša oko Kragujevca, kad su mogli lijepo, sažeto, precizno i građanski hrabro kazati ono što im doista leži na duši, da im naprosto smeta činjenica što će na Barbarincu pjevati Srbi i Bošnjak? Pa nije valjda moguće da ih je strah? Svoji su na svome, na kamenu tvrdom, o tom slova pišu, a ženiraju se reći popu pop, bobu bob, a Srbinu nalijevo krug?

Nevjerojatno je koliko naš čovjek drži do kulture.

On ne mora biti pasionirani čitatelj lijepe književnosti, operni pretplatnik, filmofil ili zaljubljenik u likovnu umjetnost, ali ipak nepogrešivo prepoznaje trenutak kad se domovinska uljudba nađe u ozbiljnome škripcu. A ima ih, itekako ih ima, tih trenutaka.

Toliko su učestali da bismo trebali utemeljiti službu motrenja i izviđanja, koja će promptno dojavljivati kad se na obzoru ukaže prijetnja. Hvala bogu, naš čovjek već motri i izviđa, nema dana da on nešto ne opazi, ali bi bio grijeh da se tim poslom nastavi baviti amaterski, bez institucionalne potpore i primjerene nagrade za iskazani trud.

Kao što imamo sustav protuzračne obrane, oslonjen na sofisticirane radare, mogli bismo ustanoviti i mrežu izvidničkih postaja koje će registrirati nenarodne, pače, protunarodne prijetnje u eteru. I čim se nagovijesti sama mogućnost da će u nekome dijelu lijepe naše odjekivati glazba nedostojna njegovanih hrvatskih ušiju, da se poduzmu odgovarajući koraci, kao što su to prošloga tjedna napravili Đurđevčani.

Oni nisu čekali da se incident dogodi, nego su ga elegantno prevenirali uredbom da se u mjesnim lokalima za trajanja Picokijade – jedne izrazito kulturne manifestacije, nadaleko čuvene po rafiniranosti – ne smije puštati glazba s bliskog istoka (ne mislim na onaj koji se zove i Srednjim istokom, nego na nama najbliži bliski, iz neposrednog susjedstva).

Na sličnome tragu našli su se i kaštelanski patrioti iz Domovinskog pokreta. Čim je objavljena vijest da će Barbarinac postati Varvarinac, jer će tamo nastupiti Aca Lukas, Jelena Karleuša i Haris Džinović, oni su sročili prosvjedno pismo iz ne‘š majci žanra. Tamo, među ostalim, stoji i sljedeće: "Domovinski pokret Kaštela smatra da ovaj glazbeni izričaj ne pripada našem podneblju te kako moramo čuvati mediteransku i europsku kulturu kojoj pripadamo. Festival osim lokalaca posjećuju mnogi domaći i strani turisti. Glazba oblikuje našu stvarnost i društvenu filozofiju, a navedeni izvođači pripadaju nekom drugom identitetu."

Hajdemo redom. Ideja da bi neka glazba, bilo koja, bilo čija, bilo kada, nekom podneblju trebala pripadati, a nekom drugom ne bi, naprosto je s one strane pameti, jer počiva na grotesknoj pretpostavci da je i zvukove potrebno deklarirati na granici kad vas carinik upita imate li što prijaviti. Nadalje, osim klapske i tamburaške muzike, za koju bismo to glazbu uopće mogli reći kako pripada našem podneblju?

Pripadaju li nam, recimo, portugalski fado, kubanska salsa, brazilska samba, američki blues, irski folk? Kad ćemo zatražiti čišćenje etera od Amálie Rodrigues, Elze Soares, Isaaca Delgada, B. B. Kinga, Dublinersa?

Kaštelanski patrioti uživljeni su u ulogu branitelja mediteranske kulture. To je, dakako, zgodno, ali bi bilo još i zgodnije da su prije pisanja prosvjedne objave prelistali atlas. Tamo bi vidjeli da, baš kao i Hrvatska, Mediteranu pripadaju i, recimo, Turska, Maroko, Sirija... Dirljivo je čuti da se neki našijenci zauzimaju za prebogatu kulturnu baštinu tih država, ali se nekako bojim da nam oni to ipak nisu htjeli poručiti.

O glazbi koja "oblikuje našu stvarnost i društvenu filozofiju" ne bih, jer polemika s nasumično nabacanim riječima naprosto nije moguća, ali ne mogu ignorirati opasku kako izvođači koji su trebali nastupiti na Barbarincu "pripadaju nekom drugom identitetu". Svatko od nas pripada nekom drugom identitetu, jer je svako svakcijato čeljade jedinstveno, drukčije, samosvojno i neponovljivo. Autori pisma očito se nisu bavili pitanjem pojedinačnih nego grupnih identiteta.

Lukas, Karleuša i Džinović sigurno ih imaju nekoliko, jer su glazbenici, prvo dvoje su i Beograđani, Haris je Sarajlija, možda se identificiraju i kao navijači nekih klubova... No čisto sumnjam da je kaštelanske domovince za to briga. Jedino što njih svrbi jest pitanje nacionalnosti – činjenica da su dvoje nedobrodošlih gostiju Srbi, a jedan Bošnjak – pa se oni češu li ga češu.

Poslije svega, mene muči samo jedna stvar. Zašto su nepokorivi Kaštelani naškrabali okruglo pa na ćoše pismo, obilazeći oko merituma stvari kao kiša oko Kragujevca, kad su mogli lijepo, sažeto, precizno i građanski hrabro kazati ono što im doista leži na duši, da im naprosto smeta činjenica što će na Barbarincu pjevati Srbi i Bošnjak? Pa nije valjda moguće da ih je strah? Svoji su na svome, na kamenu tvrdom, o tom slova pišu, a ženiraju se reći popu pop, bobu bob, a Srbinu nalijevo krug?
