Nezaustavljiv rast cijena nafte i naftnih derivata, te slovenske vinjete – dva su problema čije moguće posljedice po hrvatski turizam nisu ozbiljnije analizirane u Ministarstvu turizma, kazao je ministar na koferenciji za novinare u Šibeniku.

Na izravno pitanje pitanje, ministar Damir Bajs je odgovorio kako je njegovo ministarstvo nemoćno nešto konkretnije uraditi kako bi ublažilo posljedice sve skuplje nafte.

- Točno je da gotovo 95 posto turista u Hrvatsku stiže cestama. Za sada, međutim, nema naznaka da bi skupo gorivo moglo poremetiti navike suvremenih nomada i znatnije utjecati na planirani dvopostotni rast gostiju i petpostotno povećanje zarade.

Unatoč lošijem startu predsezone u odnosu na lani, ove godine očekujemo da će nas posjetiti gotovo 12 milijuna gostiju koji će ostvariti 57 milijuna noćenja i Hrvatskoj ostaviti više o sedam milijardi eura - kazao je ministar Bajs.

Ministar je naglasio da se u sličnoj situaciji nalaze i naši izravni konkurenti u okruženju.

- Nismo u prilici činiti ono što rade, primjerice Turska, Tunis, Egipat i neke druge izvaneuropske zemlje, koje debelo avioprijevoznike s jasnom namjerom da privuku što više gostiju.

Europa nam je tu vezala ruke, pa moramo tražiti neke druge mogućnosti da pariramo, recimo, Turskoj ili Tunisu koje nude jednotjedni paket aranžman sa prijevozom za samo tristo eura - kazao je ministar Bajs.

Jeftinije cestarine

Preko Ministarstva vanjskih poslova zatražili smo od Slovenije da ublaži postojeći režim naplate cestarina.

Sugerirali smo da se, umjesto najavljenih polugodišnjih, uvedu jeftinije dvotjedne ili desetodnevne vinjete koje bi pogodovale turistima koji preko Slovenije dolaze u Hrvatsku - kazao je Bajs.

Nezaustavljiv rast cijena nafte i naftnih derivata, te slovenske vinjete – dva su problema čije moguće posljedice po hrvatski turizam nisu ozbiljnije analizirane u Ministarstvu turizma, kazao je ministar na koferenciji za novinare u Šibeniku.

Na izravno pitanje pitanje, ministar Damir Bajs je odgovorio kako je njegovo ministarstvo nemoćno nešto konkretnije uraditi kako bi ublažilo posljedice sve skuplje nafte.

- Točno je da gotovo 95 posto turista u Hrvatsku stiže cestama. Za sada, međutim, nema naznaka da bi skupo gorivo moglo poremetiti navike suvremenih nomada i znatnije utjecati na planirani dvopostotni rast gostiju i petpostotno povećanje zarade.

Unatoč lošijem startu predsezone u odnosu na lani, ove godine očekujemo da će nas posjetiti gotovo 12 milijuna gostiju koji će ostvariti 57 milijuna noćenja i Hrvatskoj ostaviti više o sedam milijardi eura - kazao je ministar Bajs.

Ministar je naglasio da se u sličnoj situaciji nalaze i naši izravni konkurenti u okruženju.

- Nismo u prilici činiti ono što rade, primjerice Turska, Tunis, Egipat i neke druge izvaneuropske zemlje, koje debelo avioprijevoznike s jasnom namjerom da privuku što više gostiju.

Europa nam je tu vezala ruke, pa moramo tražiti neke druge mogućnosti da pariramo, recimo, Turskoj ili Tunisu koje nude jednotjedni paket aranžman sa prijevozom za samo tristo eura - kazao je ministar Bajs.

Jeftinije cestarine

Preko Ministarstva vanjskih poslova zatražili smo od Slovenije da ublaži postojeći režim naplate cestarina.

Sugerirali smo da se, umjesto najavljenih polugodišnjih, uvedu jeftinije dvotjedne ili desetodnevne vinjete koje bi pogodovale turistima koji preko Slovenije dolaze u Hrvatsku - kazao je Bajs.
