Podsjećamo, frontman banda Backroad Anthem tijekom najveće oluje odlučio je s prijateljem Chaseom Morlandom poći u lov na patke na jezero Kay County. Kako je Oklahomu zahvatilo najveće nevrijeme posljednjih godina, pretpostavlja se da se čamac s dvojicom prijatelja prevrnuo te su tako nastradali.

Chaseovo tijelo pronađeno je već idući dan, a Craigovo tek nakon osam dana. S njima je bio i Craigov pas Sam koji je pronađen uz Chaseovo beživotno tijelo.

29-godišnji Craig je bio oženjen bivšom Miss Arkansasa, Helen, koja je tijekom potrage na Twitteru poticala sve Craigove prijatelje i obožavatelje da ne prestaju moliti za njegov spas.

Nakon vijesti o njegovoj smrti, na Twitteru je objavila  potresnu poruku.

Craig was found today. We can finally rest knowing that he is at Home in Heaven with his Father. The night of the accident he had fought his way out of the water and up a hill before the stages of hypothermia set in. He experienced no pain in his final moments and simply felt like he was falling asleep. They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father. Thank you to every single person who prayed for him and our family during this time. There was not a more peaceful way for him to go into the arms of our Lord, and I know your prayers had a role in making that happen. I know he saw Jesus at that moment when he laid down and walked arm in arm with Him into a better Everlasting Life. I love you with all my heart Craig Michael. #craigstrickland

'Craig je danas pronađen. Napokon možemo odahnuti znajući da je u domu svog nebeskog oca. U noći nesreće borio se da se spasi iz ledene vode, no hipotermija je učinila svoje. U posljednjim trenucima nije osjećao bol već je njegova smrt izgledala kao da tone u san. Kad su ga pronašli ležao je u obliku križa gledajući prema Ocu.

Hvala svima koji su molili za njega u ovim teškim trenucima. Nema spokojnijeg načina da ode u ruke svog nebeskog Oca i sigurna sam da su vaše molitve omogućila da se to dogodi. Znam da je ugledao Isusa u trenutku kad je legao i da je s Njim ruku pod ruku otišao u bolji Vječni život. Volim te sa svim svojim srcem Craig Michael.', napisala je supruga poginulog pjevača na Twitteru.

Inače, večer prije nego su otišli u lov, Chase je na Twitteru ostavio jezivu poruku koja kao da je nagovještavala njihovu smrt:

'U slučaju da se ne vratimo, idemo ravno kroz oluju Goliath u lov na patke u Oklahomu', napisao je.

Craig i Chase su inače bili pasionirani lovci i na društvenim mrežama su se često hvalili slikama ubijenih životinja i kolekcijom oružja.

Podsjećamo, frontman banda Backroad Anthem tijekom najveće oluje odlučio je s prijateljem Chaseom Morlandom poći u lov na patke na jezero Kay County. Kako je Oklahomu zahvatilo najveće nevrijeme posljednjih godina, pretpostavlja se da se čamac s dvojicom prijatelja prevrnuo te su tako nastradali.

Chaseovo tijelo pronađeno je već idući dan, a Craigovo tek nakon osam dana. S njima je bio i Craigov pas Sam koji je pronađen uz Chaseovo beživotno tijelo.

29-godišnji Craig je bio oženjen bivšom Miss Arkansasa, Helen, koja je tijekom potrage na Twitteru poticala sve Craigove prijatelje i obožavatelje da ne prestaju moliti za njegov spas.

Nakon vijesti o njegovoj smrti, na Twitteru je objavila  potresnu poruku.

Craig was found today. We can finally rest knowing that he is at Home in Heaven with his Father. The night of the accident he had fought his way out of the water and up a hill before the stages of hypothermia set in. He experienced no pain in his final moments and simply felt like he was falling asleep. They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father. Thank you to every single person who prayed for him and our family during this time. There was not a more peaceful way for him to go into the arms of our Lord, and I know your prayers had a role in making that happen. I know he saw Jesus at that moment when he laid down and walked arm in arm with Him into a better Everlasting Life. I love you with all my heart Craig Michael. #craigstrickland

'Craig je danas pronađen. Napokon možemo odahnuti znajući da je u domu svog nebeskog oca. U noći nesreće borio se da se spasi iz ledene vode, no hipotermija je učinila svoje. U posljednjim trenucima nije osjećao bol već je njegova smrt izgledala kao da tone u san. Kad su ga pronašli ležao je u obliku križa gledajući prema Ocu.

Hvala svima koji su molili za njega u ovim teškim trenucima. Nema spokojnijeg načina da ode u ruke svog nebeskog Oca i sigurna sam da su vaše molitve omogućila da se to dogodi. Znam da je ugledao Isusa u trenutku kad je legao i da je s Njim ruku pod ruku otišao u bolji Vječni život. Volim te sa svim svojim srcem Craig Michael.', napisala je supruga poginulog pjevača na Twitteru.

Inače, večer prije nego su otišli u lov, Chase je na Twitteru ostavio jezivu poruku koja kao da je nagovještavala njihovu smrt:

'U slučaju da se ne vratimo, idemo ravno kroz oluju Goliath u lov na patke u Oklahomu', napisao je.

Craig i Chase su inače bili pasionirani lovci i na društvenim mrežama su se često hvalili slikama ubijenih životinja i kolekcijom oružja.
