Nevjerojatna pobjeda Splita o kojoj će se pričati. Košem Tonija Perkovića u zadnjoj desetinki susreta ‘žuti‘ su došli do velike pobjede iako su na početku zadnje četvrtine imali čak 19 koševa minusa.

Sve što se događalo u prve tri četvrtine je manje bitno, sve je stalo u zadnju četvrtinu, minutu, sekundu, desetinku. U zadnjoj dionici u kojoj su slavili 32:15 je ispisan nevjerojatan preokret Splita.

Na početku zadnje četvrtine Derby je poveo 79:60. Tada je krenuo Split, a domaćin potpuno stao. Odlični Lewis Sullivan je zaradio i udarac, krvario je iz glave, ali je prvo sa sunarodnjakom Shannonom Shorterom vodio Split do serije 11:0, pa s povezom oko glave zabio za 81:75 na 4 i pol minute do kraja. Pogubio se u tim trenucima domaći strateg Dejan Jakara. Prave reakcije kod domaćina nije bilo niti na parketu niti na klupi.

Velika je bila rola Lovre Runjića u završnici susreta. Zakucao je za 83:83 dvije minute i tri sekunde prije kraja susreta, a onda je zabio dvije trice iz kuta, drugu za 89:89 na 47 sekundi do kraja. Pri tom rezultatu tri i pol sekunde prije kraja susreta DJ Funderburk je nakon pretrpljenog prekršaja pogodio prvo, ali promašio drugo slobodno bacanje. Ipak, u preostalom vremenu nakon time outa izvodeći loptu na Splitovoj polovini terena Aubrey Dawkins izborio je prekršaj Shortera sekundu prije kraja i zabio je oba slobodna bacanja. Činilo se kako je priča gotova, kako će domaćin slaviti, da Splitu nije ostalo dovoljno vremena za novi preokret. Međutim, i gostujući strateg Slaven Rimac je zvao minutu odmora.

Infarktna završnica

Lopta je na gostujućoj polovici terena izvedena do Tonija Perkovića koji ju je odmah iz okreta uputio prema košu. Ispustio je loptu iz ruku dok je semafor pokazivao 0,1 sekundu do kraja susreta, a onda je prošla kroz mrežicu za 91:92 i veliko slavlje Splićana u Podgorici. Podsjetilo je to na onaj povijesni koš pokojnog Damira Šolmana u Beogradu u majstorici prvenstva bivše države protiv Bosne 1977. godine u Beogradu dvije stotinke prije kraja susreta.

U prve tri četvrtine Split se bez ozlijeđenog centra Krešimira Ljubičića (lom prsta) i razigravača Lovre Gnjidića koji je otišao u Megu (umjesto kojeg je na Gripe stigao Vito Kučić iz Cedevite Junior, priključuje se u subotu) nije pojavio na susretu. Dok su s druge strane domaći imali spektakularan šut za tricu. Ali zato su ‘žuti‘ sve nadoknadili u zadnjih deset minuta o kojima će se još godinama pričati.

Nevjerojatna pobjeda Splita o kojoj će se pričati. Košem Tonija Perkovića u zadnjoj desetinki susreta ‘žuti‘ su došli do velike pobjede iako su na početku zadnje četvrtine imali čak 19 koševa minusa.

Sve što se događalo u prve tri četvrtine je manje bitno, sve je stalo u zadnju četvrtinu, minutu, sekundu, desetinku. U zadnjoj dionici u kojoj su slavili 32:15 je ispisan nevjerojatan preokret Splita.

Na početku zadnje četvrtine Derby je poveo 79:60. Tada je krenuo Split, a domaćin potpuno stao. Odlični Lewis Sullivan je zaradio i udarac, krvario je iz glave, ali je prvo sa sunarodnjakom Shannonom Shorterom vodio Split do serije 11:0, pa s povezom oko glave zabio za 81:75 na 4 i pol minute do kraja. Pogubio se u tim trenucima domaći strateg Dejan Jakara. Prave reakcije kod domaćina nije bilo niti na parketu niti na klupi.

Velika je bila rola Lovre Runjića u završnici susreta. Zakucao je za 83:83 dvije minute i tri sekunde prije kraja susreta, a onda je zabio dvije trice iz kuta, drugu za 89:89 na 47 sekundi do kraja. Pri tom rezultatu tri i pol sekunde prije kraja susreta DJ Funderburk je nakon pretrpljenog prekršaja pogodio prvo, ali promašio drugo slobodno bacanje. Ipak, u preostalom vremenu nakon time outa izvodeći loptu na Splitovoj polovini terena Aubrey Dawkins izborio je prekršaj Shortera sekundu prije kraja i zabio je oba slobodna bacanja. Činilo se kako je priča gotova, kako će domaćin slaviti, da Splitu nije ostalo dovoljno vremena za novi preokret. Međutim, i gostujući strateg Slaven Rimac je zvao minutu odmora.

Infarktna završnica

Lopta je na gostujućoj polovici terena izvedena do Tonija Perkovića koji ju je odmah iz okreta uputio prema košu. Ispustio je loptu iz ruku dok je semafor pokazivao 0,1 sekundu do kraja susreta, a onda je prošla kroz mrežicu za 91:92 i veliko slavlje Splićana u Podgorici. Podsjetilo je to na onaj povijesni koš pokojnog Damira Šolmana u Beogradu u majstorici prvenstva bivše države protiv Bosne 1977. godine u Beogradu dvije stotinke prije kraja susreta.

U prve tri četvrtine Split se bez ozlijeđenog centra Krešimira Ljubičića (lom prsta) i razigravača Lovre Gnjidića koji je otišao u Megu (umjesto kojeg je na Gripe stigao Vito Kučić iz Cedevite Junior, priključuje se u subotu) nije pojavio na susretu. Dok su s druge strane domaći imali spektakularan šut za tricu. Ali zato su ‘žuti‘ sve nadoknadili u zadnjih deset minuta o kojima će se još godinama pričati.
