Hajduk, Zulte Varegem, Rapid, Rangers, Everton, Hull City, West Ham, četiri godine Kine i na koncu - Lokomotiva! Bivši hrvatski reprezentativac Nikica Jelavić (35) jučer je i službeno postao novi igrač kluba s Kajzerice potpisavši ugovor, pišu Sportske novosti
- Na koliko sam potpisao? Ne znam... Za koliko sam potpisao? Ne znam... Ne zezam se uopće. Božidar Šikić stavio je pred mene ugovor, nisam pročitao niti slovo, samo sam potpisao, rekao sam mu: “Šika, samo daj da potpišem, ne zanima me niti cifra niti duljina ugovora.” Na kraju sam dobio fascikl u koji sam ga spremio i odnio kući, a i tamo ga nisam otvorio. Tako da ne znam te odgovore. Pa mislim da sam potpisao na šest mjeseci ili godinu dana. Valjda. Pa neću u ovim godinama potpisivati na dvije godine! Kako li je samo brzo vrijeme proletjelo. Evo, već sam napunio 35, a živo se sjećam tekstova u kojima se pisalo da sam talentirani igrač, ha, ha, ha...
To nam je uvodu rekao dobro raspoloženi Jelavić nakon što je stavio svoj potpis na vjernost Lokosima. Ispričao nam je kako je uopće došlo do toga da završi u zagrebačkom klubu.
- Dogodilo se sasvim spontano. Meni je odgovaralo što je klub iz Zagreba, jer nigdje drugdje ne bih otišao, niti sam na to pomišljao. U Zagrebu mi je obitelj, a dugo nisam s njima živio. Zaželio sam se obitelji, tako da je jedina opcija koja je dolazila u obzir bio Zagreb. Kontaktirao me Božidar Šikić, dogovorili smo se za dvije minute. Zato nisam niti gledao što potpisujem.
Zezamo ga i kažemo: “Nikice, pazi da na kraju ti ne bi morao nešto platiti...”
- Ha, ha, ha... Ma stvarno ne znam kolika mi je plaća, nisam gledao. Tako da ako bude pitanje za koliko para igram, nemam pojma. Ali nije puno, sigurno.
Kaže da još nije htio prekinuti karijeru...
- Držim da još mogu ponuditi nešto na travnjaku. E, sad ćemo vidjeti koliko sam u pravu, a koliko u krivu. Vrijeme će pokazati.
Pitamo ga kako se tjelesno osjeća?
- Ha, osjećam se dobro. Ali ne mogu procijeniti kako bih se osjećao na utakmici. U Kini je prvenstvo završilo prošle godine u studenome, evo sad će tek 12. rujna startati prvo kolo. A ja sam svoju posljednju službenu utakmicu odigrao prošle godine u rujnu. Eto, od te utakmice prošlo je skoro godinu dana. Bila je korona, sezona se nije nastavila, pa je onda uslijedio odmor... Zato kažem, osjećam se super, ali kako će biti na utakmici, s igračima koji su bolji od onih s kojima sam igrao u Kini, stvarno ne znam. Znate kako je, ako ‘to ne bude to’, uvijek si možemo dati ruku i srdačno se pozdraviti.
Kad smo ga pitali kako mu je posljednje četiri godine bilo u Kini, veli nam sljedeće:
- Bilo mi je stvarno super. Ostao sam u Kini četiri i pol godine. Ciljano sam to odradio. Kina se otvorila s financijske strane u nogometu, iskoristio sam to najviše što sam mogao. Nije bilo lako svo to vrijeme provedeno u Kini, ali upoznao sam nove ljude, prijatelje, novu kulturu koja nije nimalo slična europskoj. Ukupno, bilo je to jedno lijepo iskustvo i ostavio sam otvorena vrata, dobre odnose. Ne znam hoće li biti u budućnosti neke suradnje ili ne, ali o Kini sve pozitivno.
U Lokomotivi poznaje neke igrače.
- S Budimirom sam igrao u Hajduku, sa Sammirom sam bio u hrvatskoj reprezentaciji. Ha, nema tko ne zna Sammira. Baš mi je drago što ću opet biti s njim. Druge momke znam preko medija. Recimo da je moj dolazak u Lokomotivu uvod u završetak karijere. A sad u sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci će se vidjeti u kojem pravcu će sve ići - zaključio je Nikica Jelavić.

Hajduk, Zulte Varegem, Rapid, Rangers, Everton, Hull City, West Ham, četiri godine Kine i na koncu - Lokomotiva! Bivši hrvatski reprezentativac Nikica Jelavić (35) jučer je i službeno postao novi igrač kluba s Kajzerice potpisavši ugovor, pišu Sportske novosti
- Na koliko sam potpisao? Ne znam... Za koliko sam potpisao? Ne znam... Ne zezam se uopće. Božidar Šikić stavio je pred mene ugovor, nisam pročitao niti slovo, samo sam potpisao, rekao sam mu: “Šika, samo daj da potpišem, ne zanima me niti cifra niti duljina ugovora.” Na kraju sam dobio fascikl u koji sam ga spremio i odnio kući, a i tamo ga nisam otvorio. Tako da ne znam te odgovore. Pa mislim da sam potpisao na šest mjeseci ili godinu dana. Valjda. Pa neću u ovim godinama potpisivati na dvije godine! Kako li je samo brzo vrijeme proletjelo. Evo, već sam napunio 35, a živo se sjećam tekstova u kojima se pisalo da sam talentirani igrač, ha, ha, ha...
To nam je uvodu rekao dobro raspoloženi Jelavić nakon što je stavio svoj potpis na vjernost Lokosima. Ispričao nam je kako je uopće došlo do toga da završi u zagrebačkom klubu.
- Dogodilo se sasvim spontano. Meni je odgovaralo što je klub iz Zagreba, jer nigdje drugdje ne bih otišao, niti sam na to pomišljao. U Zagrebu mi je obitelj, a dugo nisam s njima živio. Zaželio sam se obitelji, tako da je jedina opcija koja je dolazila u obzir bio Zagreb. Kontaktirao me Božidar Šikić, dogovorili smo se za dvije minute. Zato nisam niti gledao što potpisujem.
Zezamo ga i kažemo: “Nikice, pazi da na kraju ti ne bi morao nešto platiti...”
- Ha, ha, ha... Ma stvarno ne znam kolika mi je plaća, nisam gledao. Tako da ako bude pitanje za koliko para igram, nemam pojma. Ali nije puno, sigurno.
Kaže da još nije htio prekinuti karijeru...
- Držim da još mogu ponuditi nešto na travnjaku. E, sad ćemo vidjeti koliko sam u pravu, a koliko u krivu. Vrijeme će pokazati.
Pitamo ga kako se tjelesno osjeća?
- Ha, osjećam se dobro. Ali ne mogu procijeniti kako bih se osjećao na utakmici. U Kini je prvenstvo završilo prošle godine u studenome, evo sad će tek 12. rujna startati prvo kolo. A ja sam svoju posljednju službenu utakmicu odigrao prošle godine u rujnu. Eto, od te utakmice prošlo je skoro godinu dana. Bila je korona, sezona se nije nastavila, pa je onda uslijedio odmor... Zato kažem, osjećam se super, ali kako će biti na utakmici, s igračima koji su bolji od onih s kojima sam igrao u Kini, stvarno ne znam. Znate kako je, ako ‘to ne bude to’, uvijek si možemo dati ruku i srdačno se pozdraviti.
Kad smo ga pitali kako mu je posljednje četiri godine bilo u Kini, veli nam sljedeće:
- Bilo mi je stvarno super. Ostao sam u Kini četiri i pol godine. Ciljano sam to odradio. Kina se otvorila s financijske strane u nogometu, iskoristio sam to najviše što sam mogao. Nije bilo lako svo to vrijeme provedeno u Kini, ali upoznao sam nove ljude, prijatelje, novu kulturu koja nije nimalo slična europskoj. Ukupno, bilo je to jedno lijepo iskustvo i ostavio sam otvorena vrata, dobre odnose. Ne znam hoće li biti u budućnosti neke suradnje ili ne, ali o Kini sve pozitivno.
U Lokomotivi poznaje neke igrače.
- S Budimirom sam igrao u Hajduku, sa Sammirom sam bio u hrvatskoj reprezentaciji. Ha, nema tko ne zna Sammira. Baš mi je drago što ću opet biti s njim. Druge momke znam preko medija. Recimo da je moj dolazak u Lokomotivu uvod u završetak karijere. A sad u sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci će se vidjeti u kojem pravcu će sve ići - zaključio je Nikica Jelavić.
