Arheolozi vjeruju da su u Axumu u Etiopiji pronašli palaču kraljice od Sabe i oltar na kojemu se nalazilo najveće blago drevnoga judaizma, Zavjetni kovčeg, priopćili su znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta u Hamburgu.
Njemački znanstvenici to su otkrili tijekom tromjesečnih proljetnih iskapanja na nalazištu u Axumu.
Etiopska kraljica posjetila je izraelskoga kralja Salomona u 10. stoljeću prije Krista. Susret kraljevskoga para jedan je od najdojmljivijih dijelova Biblije.
Prema etiopskoj tradiciji, Zavjetni kovčeg u kojemu su navodno bile Mojsijeve kamene ploče s Deset zapovjedi u Etiopiju je potajno prenio njezin sin Menelek i još se nalazi u toj zemlji.

| Kraljica od Sabe nadahnula je mnoge umjetnike |
Znanstvenici pod vodstvom Helmuta Zeigerta pronašli su ostatke palače iz 10. stoljeća prije Krista u Axum-Dunguru, ispod palače kasnijega kršćanskoga kralja. Pronađeni su dokazi da je starija palača na tom mjestu srušena i prezidana tako da slijedi put zvijezde Sirius.
Znanstvenici su pretpostavili da je
Menelek postao štovatelj Siriusa te da je čuvao Kovčeg, za koji Biblija kaže da je bio izrađen od bagremova drva i prekriven zlatom. Oko oltara pronađeni su tragovi obrednog žrtvovanja volova.
Istraživanjem u Axumu, koje je počelo 1999., znanstvenici žele dokumentirati podrijetlo etiopske države i etiopske pravoslavne crkve.
- Rezultati našeg istraživanja pokazuju da se u Etiopiji s dolaskom judaizma i Zavjetnog kovčega razvio kult Sotis, koji je postojao sve do 600. godine - kaže se u priopćenju Sotis je drevno grčko ime za zvijezdu za koju se pretpostavlja da je Sirius.
Znanstvenici kažu da su na nalazištu pronašli simbole Siriusa, tragove žrtvovanja i razmještaj svetišta prema mjestu izlaska Siriusa, najsjajnije zvijezde na nebu.

Arheolozi vjeruju da su u Axumu u Etiopiji pronašli palaču kraljice od Sabe i oltar na kojemu se nalazilo najveće blago drevnoga judaizma, Zavjetni kovčeg, priopćili su znanstvenici sa Sveučilišta u Hamburgu.
Njemački znanstvenici to su otkrili tijekom tromjesečnih proljetnih iskapanja na nalazištu u Axumu.
Etiopska kraljica posjetila je izraelskoga kralja Salomona u 10. stoljeću prije Krista. Susret kraljevskoga para jedan je od najdojmljivijih dijelova Biblije.
Prema etiopskoj tradiciji, Zavjetni kovčeg u kojemu su navodno bile Mojsijeve kamene ploče s Deset zapovjedi u Etiopiju je potajno prenio njezin sin Menelek i još se nalazi u toj zemlji.

Znanstvenici pod vodstvom Helmuta Zeigerta pronašli su ostatke palače iz 10. stoljeća prije Krista u Axum-Dunguru, ispod palače kasnijega kršćanskoga kralja. Pronađeni su dokazi da je starija palača na tom mjestu srušena i prezidana tako da slijedi put zvijezde Sirius.
Znanstvenici su pretpostavili da je
Menelek postao štovatelj Siriusa te da je čuvao Kovčeg, za koji Biblija kaže da je bio izrađen od bagremova drva i prekriven zlatom. Oko oltara pronađeni su tragovi obrednog žrtvovanja volova.
Istraživanjem u Axumu, koje je počelo 1999., znanstvenici žele dokumentirati podrijetlo etiopske države i etiopske pravoslavne crkve.
- Rezultati našeg istraživanja pokazuju da se u Etiopiji s dolaskom judaizma i Zavjetnog kovčega razvio kult Sotis, koji je postojao sve do 600. godine - kaže se u priopćenju Sotis je drevno grčko ime za zvijezdu za koju se pretpostavlja da je Sirius.
Znanstvenici kažu da su na nalazištu pronašli simbole Siriusa, tragove žrtvovanja i razmještaj svetišta prema mjestu izlaska Siriusa, najsjajnije zvijezde na nebu.
