Knjiga putopisa Jasena Boke „Na putu svile - Kako nam je lagao Marko Polo“ nastala na putovanju stazom posijanom tajnama i starom koliko i civilizacija, predstavljena je u utorak u Profil Superstoreu .
Boko, dramaturg , književnik no prije svega putnik, kroz 33 poglavlja knjige ispisanih na nesvakidašnjem tromjesečnom putu u samo srce Azije, progovara o trgovini svilom, u pitanje dovodi putovanje slavnog Marka Pola, te istodobno na toj kulurološkoj ruti, od kineskog Sjana (Xian) do Splita otkriva izgubljene pustinjske gradove, zaboravljene civilizacije, male ljude, čuda života za kojeg nismo znali da postoji i na kraju ,ne manje važno - jednog drugačijeg sebe.
- Prelazeći pustinju Gobi , boraveći na rubu sablasnog Taklamakana, najstrašnije pustinje poznatoga svijeta, družeći se s lokalnim Ujgurima, zalazeći u dolinu Kalaša kao prvi Hrvat koji je zašao u taj dio svijeta ili pak u sva ona mjesta na Svilenoj cesti koja većina od nas nikada neće proći , Boko se potvrdio kao osvješteni putnik koji zna čitati tragove. Raskrinkao je Marka Pola kao mitotvorca i lažljivca, ali i predrasude i mistifikacije suvremenog doba – kazao je Damir Pilić, novinar i publisist.
Pilić je Bokinu knjigu ocijenio kao izniman inovativan pothvat u putopisnom žanru, a autorov pogled na svijet nazvao kritikom zapadnjačkog uma.
O iskustvu putovanja koje definitivno nije dio svakodnevice, posebno ako se zna da je realizirano u Europi davno zaboravljenim prijevozom, sam autor kaže:
- Bolje se snalazim u Kabulu noću, nego u svakidašnjem životu.Stoga moja knjiga, među ostalim pokazuje da., ma kako se činilo suprotno, uopće nije teško putovati.
Putopis Na putu svile objavio je zagrebački nakladnik Profil, a uz autora i Damira Pilića, o Bokinom putopisu govorio je alpinist i publicist Stipe Božić, a ulomke iz knjige čitao je glumac Belmondo Miliša.

Knjiga putopisa Jasena Boke „Na putu svile - Kako nam je lagao Marko Polo“ nastala na putovanju stazom posijanom tajnama i starom koliko i civilizacija, predstavljena je u utorak u Profil Superstoreu .
Boko, dramaturg , književnik no prije svega putnik, kroz 33 poglavlja knjige ispisanih na nesvakidašnjem tromjesečnom putu u samo srce Azije, progovara o trgovini svilom, u pitanje dovodi putovanje slavnog Marka Pola, te istodobno na toj kulurološkoj ruti, od kineskog Sjana (Xian) do Splita otkriva izgubljene pustinjske gradove, zaboravljene civilizacije, male ljude, čuda života za kojeg nismo znali da postoji i na kraju ,ne manje važno - jednog drugačijeg sebe.
- Prelazeći pustinju Gobi , boraveći na rubu sablasnog Taklamakana, najstrašnije pustinje poznatoga svijeta, družeći se s lokalnim Ujgurima, zalazeći u dolinu Kalaša kao prvi Hrvat koji je zašao u taj dio svijeta ili pak u sva ona mjesta na Svilenoj cesti koja većina od nas nikada neće proći , Boko se potvrdio kao osvješteni putnik koji zna čitati tragove. Raskrinkao je Marka Pola kao mitotvorca i lažljivca, ali i predrasude i mistifikacije suvremenog doba – kazao je Damir Pilić, novinar i publisist.
Pilić je Bokinu knjigu ocijenio kao izniman inovativan pothvat u putopisnom žanru, a autorov pogled na svijet nazvao kritikom zapadnjačkog uma.
O iskustvu putovanja koje definitivno nije dio svakodnevice, posebno ako se zna da je realizirano u Europi davno zaboravljenim prijevozom, sam autor kaže:
- Bolje se snalazim u Kabulu noću, nego u svakidašnjem životu.Stoga moja knjiga, među ostalim pokazuje da., ma kako se činilo suprotno, uopće nije teško putovati.
Putopis Na putu svile objavio je zagrebački nakladnik Profil, a uz autora i Damira Pilića, o Bokinom putopisu govorio je alpinist i publicist Stipe Božić, a ulomke iz knjige čitao je glumac Belmondo Miliša.
