Nova knjiga putopisa Jasena Boke, kazališnog kritičara i dramatičara, ali i jednog od najstrastvenijih te, bez sumnje, pisanoj riječi najvičnijeg živućeg hrvatskog putnika, predstavljena je u zagrebačkom Profilovu megastoru.

O knjizi, koju je pod naslovom “Na Putu svile: kako nam je lagao Marko Polo“ objavio Profil, uz autora i urednika Josipa Antića, govorili su i Ivica Prtenjača, Siniša Pavić i Dvina Meler, a dijelove iz knjige čitali Urša Raukar i Pjer Meničanin.

Knjiga “Na Putu svile“ nastala je, kako je otkrio sam autor, kao rezultat šireg kulturološkog projekta, koji je planiran pune dvije godine, te koji su, uz hrvatsko Ministarstvo kulture i bivšeg splitskog gradonačelnika, potpomogli i sponzori, tvrtka Adria–Azija, Turistička zajednica Korčule, Hrvatska poštanska banka, Radio Dalmacija i drugi.

Rezultat Bokina iznimno zahtjevnog putovanja od kineskog Sjana do Splita tijekom svibnja, lipnja i srpnja 2008. godine je, kako je naglasio Pavić, knjiga puna i emocija i informacija, koja otkriva čovjeka koji ne odustaje od svojih snova, ali i „pravog novinarčinu“.

Ovom potonjem vjerojatno treba zahvaliti i žestinu kojom je Boko, i u knjizi i na promociji, pokušao demistificirati priču o Marku Polu.

- On jest lutao negdje po Aziji, ali u najvećem dijelu krajeva koje spominje u svojoj knjizi nije nikada bio - naglasio je, dodavši kako o tome postoje mnogi stručni radovi i knjige.

S jednakim uvjerenjem i strašću Boko je, međutim, govorio i o fascinantnosti (središnje) Azije, iz koje, kako kaže, Slaveni i dolaze, “pa nije ni čudo da su nam tamošnji narodi, iako na neki način različiti, vrlo slični“.

Bokino demistificiranje mita Marka Pola nije omelo predstavnicu zagrebačke udruge “Putovima Marka Pola“ da mu na promociji nenajavljeno daruje plaketu s replikom Kublaj-kanove zlatne ploče, koju je navodno dobio i Marko Polo.

Nova knjiga putopisa Jasena Boke, kazališnog kritičara i dramatičara, ali i jednog od najstrastvenijih te, bez sumnje, pisanoj riječi najvičnijeg živućeg hrvatskog putnika, predstavljena je u zagrebačkom Profilovu megastoru.

O knjizi, koju je pod naslovom “Na Putu svile: kako nam je lagao Marko Polo“ objavio Profil, uz autora i urednika Josipa Antića, govorili su i Ivica Prtenjača, Siniša Pavić i Dvina Meler, a dijelove iz knjige čitali Urša Raukar i Pjer Meničanin.

Knjiga “Na Putu svile“ nastala je, kako je otkrio sam autor, kao rezultat šireg kulturološkog projekta, koji je planiran pune dvije godine, te koji su, uz hrvatsko Ministarstvo kulture i bivšeg splitskog gradonačelnika, potpomogli i sponzori, tvrtka Adria–Azija, Turistička zajednica Korčule, Hrvatska poštanska banka, Radio Dalmacija i drugi.

Rezultat Bokina iznimno zahtjevnog putovanja od kineskog Sjana do Splita tijekom svibnja, lipnja i srpnja 2008. godine je, kako je naglasio Pavić, knjiga puna i emocija i informacija, koja otkriva čovjeka koji ne odustaje od svojih snova, ali i „pravog novinarčinu“.

Ovom potonjem vjerojatno treba zahvaliti i žestinu kojom je Boko, i u knjizi i na promociji, pokušao demistificirati priču o Marku Polu.

- On jest lutao negdje po Aziji, ali u najvećem dijelu krajeva koje spominje u svojoj knjizi nije nikada bio - naglasio je, dodavši kako o tome postoje mnogi stručni radovi i knjige.

S jednakim uvjerenjem i strašću Boko je, međutim, govorio i o fascinantnosti (središnje) Azije, iz koje, kako kaže, Slaveni i dolaze, “pa nije ni čudo da su nam tamošnji narodi, iako na neki način različiti, vrlo slični“.
