Na današnji dan 1970. godine, oko 9 sati ujutro, dubrovački tramvaj broj 5. koji je vozio na relaciji Pile – Lapad, iskočio je s tračnica i upao u gradski park u Pilama. Ubrzo nakon toga, već 20. ožujka iste godine ukinut je dubrovački tramvaj.

U prigodi tužne obljetnice, Dubrovački muzeji su pronašli crno-bijelu fotorazglednicu Pila s tramvajem iz daleke 1930. godine. U pozadini su hotel »Imperijal«, danas »Hilton«, te dubrovački tramvaj u vožnji prema postaji na Pilama.

Inače, tramvajski promet u Dubrovniku uspostavljen je 22. prosinca 1910. godine. Postojale su dvije tramvajske linije: od Pila do kolodvora (željezničke stanice) te od Pila do Lapada. Uoči Prvoga svjetskog rata postojala je zamisao da se pruga produži od Pila do Ploča. Iako su bila osigurana sredstva, ta zamisao nikada nije realizirana. Zanimljivosti vezane uz dubrovački tramvaj su i te da je od samog početka prometovanja postojao vagon za poštu, a mogle su se naručiti i posebne tramvajske vožnje izvan voznog reda, otkriva viša kustosica Ljerka Dunatov iz Dubrovačkih muzeja.

Na današnji dan 1970. godine, oko 9 sati ujutro, dubrovački tramvaj broj 5. koji je vozio na relaciji Pile – Lapad, iskočio je s tračnica i upao u gradski park u Pilama. Ubrzo nakon toga, već 20. ožujka iste godine ukinut je dubrovački tramvaj.

U prigodi tužne obljetnice, Dubrovački muzeji su pronašli crno-bijelu fotorazglednicu Pila s tramvajem iz daleke 1930. godine. U pozadini su hotel »Imperijal«, danas »Hilton«, te dubrovački tramvaj u vožnji prema postaji na Pilama.

Inače, tramvajski promet u Dubrovniku uspostavljen je 22. prosinca 1910. godine. Postojale su dvije tramvajske linije: od Pila do kolodvora (željezničke stanice) te od Pila do Lapada. Uoči Prvoga svjetskog rata postojala je zamisao da se pruga produži od Pila do Ploča. Iako su bila osigurana sredstva, ta zamisao nikada nije realizirana. Zanimljivosti vezane uz dubrovački tramvaj su i te da je od samog početka prometovanja postojao vagon za poštu, a mogle su se naručiti i posebne tramvajske vožnje izvan voznog reda, otkriva viša kustosica Ljerka Dunatov iz Dubrovačkih muzeja.

Na današnji dan 1970. dogodila se teška prometna nesreća koja je označila kraj omiljenog dubrovačkog tramvaja

Na današnji dan 1970. godine, oko 9 sati ujutro, dubrovački tramvaj broj 5. koji je vozio na relaciji Pile – Lapad, iskočio je s tračnica i upao u gradski park u Pilama. Ubrzo nakon toga, već 20. ožujka iste godine ukinut je dubrovački tramvaj.

U prigodi tužne obljetnice, Dubrovački muzeji su pronašli crno-bijelu fotorazglednicu Pila s tramvajem iz daleke 1930. godine. U pozadini su hotel »Imperijal«, danas »Hilton«, te dubrovački tramvaj u vožnji prema postaji na Pilama.

Inače, tramvajski promet u Dubrovniku uspostavljen je 22. prosinca 1910. godine. Postojale su dvije tramvajske linije: od Pila do kolodvora (željezničke stanice) te od Pila do Lapada. Uoči Prvoga svjetskog rata postojala je zamisao da se pruga produži od Pila do Ploča. Iako su bila osigurana sredstva, ta zamisao nikada nije realizirana. Zanimljivosti vezane uz dubrovački tramvaj su i te da je od samog početka prometovanja postojao vagon za poštu, a mogle su se naručiti i posebne tramvajske vožnje izvan voznog reda, otkriva viša kustosica Ljerka Dunatov iz Dubrovačkih muzeja.
