"Mislim da su obje strane otišle predaleko. Ono što sam privatno rekao Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji, sada ću i javno reći - treba biti oprezan u retorici, Balkan je mjesto gdje se mora biti oprezan s retorikom jer ljudi vjeruju u to što se kaže, a to može izazvati posljedice", izjavio je Bildt.

"Na objema stranama je da malo primire retoriku, da razmisle o tom pitanju. Objema stranama je u interesu, svima je u interesu da se to riješi - što prije, to bolje za Hrvatsku. Naš je interes da se ubrzaju, da se pomaknu hrvatski pristupni pregovori, što je očito važno za tu zemlju i za cijelu regiju, ali i za Sloveniju, jer nijedna nacija ne želi biti izolirana u Vijeću EU-a. Mi to ne želimo. Nadam se da razmišljanje može pridonijeti da oni počnu rješavati to pitanje onako kako mi Europljani to rješavamo: konstruktivno i sa spremnoššu za kompromis", rekao je Bildt pred članovima Vanjskopolitičkog odbora Europskog parlamenta, kojima je predočio vanjskoplitički program švedskog predsjedništva.

Bildt je na taj način odgovorio na pitanje socijalističkog zastupnika iz Austrije Hannesa Swobode, koji je pitao priprema li švedsko predsjedništvo novu inicijativu za rješavanje hrvatsko-slovenskog graničnog prijepora.

Na novinarski upit hoće li biti lakše rješavati granični prijepor sada kad Hrvatska ima novu premijerku Jadranku Kosor te hoće li se u petak održati Međuvladina pristupna konferencija i koliko bi na toj konferenciji Hrvatska mogla otvoriti i zatvoriti poglavlja, Bildt nije htio odgovoriti.

"Pričekajmo, još nismo stigli dotle. U ovom trenutku ne želim ništa više reći o tom pitanju. I za mene vjerojatno vrijedi da manje govorim, a više razmišljam", rekao je Bildt.

Švedsko je predsjedništvo u početku srpnja najavilo da planira organizirati Međuvladinu konferenciju o pristupanju s Hrvatskom u petak, 24. srpnja. No po diplomatskim izvorima nema prevelikih izgleda se ona i održi, jer se teško može očekivati da neko poglavlje bude spremno za otvaranje ili zatvaranje, jer je Slovenija do sada blokirala devet poglavlja spremnih za otvaranje i četiri za zatvaranje.

"Mislim da su obje strane otišle predaleko. Ono što sam privatno rekao Hrvatskoj i Sloveniji, sada ću i javno reći - treba biti oprezan u retorici, Balkan je mjesto gdje se mora biti oprezan s retorikom jer ljudi vjeruju u to što se kaže, a to može izazvati posljedice", izjavio je Bildt.

"Na objema stranama je da malo primire retoriku, da razmisle o tom pitanju. Objema stranama je u interesu, svima je u interesu da se to riješi - što prije, to bolje za Hrvatsku. Naš je interes da se ubrzaju, da se pomaknu hrvatski pristupni pregovori, što je očito važno za tu zemlju i za cijelu regiju, ali i za Sloveniju, jer nijedna nacija ne želi biti izolirana u Vijeću EU-a. Mi to ne želimo. Nadam se da razmišljanje može pridonijeti da oni počnu rješavati to pitanje onako kako mi Europljani to rješavamo: konstruktivno i sa spremnoššu za kompromis", rekao je Bildt pred članovima Vanjskopolitičkog odbora Europskog parlamenta, kojima je predočio vanjskoplitički program švedskog predsjedništva.

Bildt je na taj način odgovorio na pitanje socijalističkog zastupnika iz Austrije Hannesa Swobode, koji je pitao priprema li švedsko predsjedništvo novu inicijativu za rješavanje hrvatsko-slovenskog graničnog prijepora.

Na novinarski upit hoće li biti lakše rješavati granični prijepor sada kad Hrvatska ima novu premijerku Jadranku Kosor te hoće li se u petak održati Međuvladina pristupna konferencija i koliko bi na toj konferenciji Hrvatska mogla otvoriti i zatvoriti poglavlja, Bildt nije htio odgovoriti.

"Pričekajmo, još nismo stigli dotle. U ovom trenutku ne želim ništa više reći o tom pitanju. I za mene vjerojatno vrijedi da manje govorim, a više razmišljam", rekao je Bildt.

Švedsko je predsjedništvo u početku srpnja najavilo da planira organizirati Međuvladinu konferenciju o pristupanju s Hrvatskom u petak, 24. srpnja. No po diplomatskim izvorima nema prevelikih izgleda se ona i održi, jer se teško može očekivati da neko poglavlje bude spremno za otvaranje ili zatvaranje, jer je Slovenija do sada blokirala devet poglavlja spremnih za otvaranje i četiri za zatvaranje.
