U ono doba nismo zaključavali vrata, a i što smo, realno, imali čuvati? Manje-više svi su bili, kako je to jednom Nele Karajlić rekao –  jednako siromašni. Većina je živjela po JUS-u, jugoslavenskom standardu iznad kojeg su stršile samo komunističke glavešine. Zato u to vrijeme nije bila vijest kad bi netko vratio pronađeni novac ili kakvu drugu vrijednost. To se, jednostavno, podrazumijevalo: "Druže, je li ovo vaše? Jest. Hvala, druže. Ma, nema na čemu."  

 

Napuštanjem ili propašću sustava u kojem se njegovao kolektivizam, kako tko već na to gleda, solidarnost je zamijenila pohlepa, bolje rečeno – banditizam: i to onaj veliki koji smo iskusili kroz pretvorbu i privatizaciju, ali i mali, svakodnevni i prizemni. Ništa čudno. Kapitalizam počiva upravo na najgorim ljudskim porivima i zato je i kudikamo gospodarski uspješniji od "onog sistema" koji je završio u povijesnoj ropotarnici. Pogoni ga neprestana glad za novcem. 

 

A, kad je goli profit ljudima jedini cilj, onda im ništa nije sveto. Dvije "obične" vijesti koje su popunile "rupe" u novinama, dosta govore o gore napisanom i svijetu u kojem živimo. Jedna kaže da je opljačkan splitski nevladin aktivist, divan čovjek koji se puno davao i daje za druge, tako što ga je lopov uhodio vidjevši da je odložio novčanik na suvozačevo mjesto dok je izlazio iz automobila. 

 

Nota bene, pokradeni čovjek se teško okreće, no to u ništariji koja ga je opelješila nije probudilo ni najmanju empatiju. Gotovo istovremeno, sedamnaestogodišnjem mladiću koji je u trgovačkom centru izgubio eure kojima je trebao platiti vozački ispit, nije se javio pošteni nalaznik. Koga briga za njega i njegovu ušteđevinu koju je krvavo stekao? Što zelembać nije pazio?

 

Ispada da bez obzira koliko mi isticali suprotne primjere u kojima pobjeđuju dobrota i poštenje, većini danas ništa nije sveto. Gledamo takvo što i na filmovima: na dekadentnom Zapadu dolar je jedino u što se iskreno vjeruje. O.K., oduvijek se tamo zbog zelenih novčanica gazilo sve i svakoga, ali takva se atmosfera danas osjeća i u našem vilajetu. Nije važan put do kapitala, niti da je on nužno popločan dobrim namjerama, već kapital sam po sebi. On je poput svetoga grala. 

 

Individualizam, želja za dokazivanjem i isticanjem, odmah i sada, jači su od bilo kakvog zajedničkog interesa, općeg dobra i društvenog značaja, morala, zemaljskih i nebeskih zakona, pa se nije čuditi da ćemo sve češće svjedočiti pričama poput ove u kojoj je opljačkan invalid, a sirotom mladiću neka fukara nije vratila novac, kao da će mu ta suma išta promijeniti u životu. Rekli bi u onoj nekoć popularnoj emisiji: tražili ste – gledajte. Eto vam na.

U ono doba nismo zaključavali vrata, a i što smo, realno, imali čuvati? Manje-više svi su bili, kako je to jednom Nele Karajlić rekao –  jednako siromašni. Većina je živjela po JUS-u, jugoslavenskom standardu iznad kojeg su stršile samo komunističke glavešine. Zato u to vrijeme nije bila vijest kad bi netko vratio pronađeni novac ili kakvu drugu vrijednost. To se, jednostavno, podrazumijevalo: "Druže, je li ovo vaše? Jest. Hvala, druže. Ma, nema na čemu."  

 

Napuštanjem ili propašću sustava u kojem se njegovao kolektivizam, kako tko već na to gleda, solidarnost je zamijenila pohlepa, bolje rečeno – banditizam: i to onaj veliki koji smo iskusili kroz pretvorbu i privatizaciju, ali i mali, svakodnevni i prizemni. Ništa čudno. Kapitalizam počiva upravo na najgorim ljudskim porivima i zato je i kudikamo gospodarski uspješniji od "onog sistema" koji je završio u povijesnoj ropotarnici. Pogoni ga neprestana glad za novcem. 

 

A, kad je goli profit ljudima jedini cilj, onda im ništa nije sveto. Dvije "obične" vijesti koje su popunile "rupe" u novinama, dosta govore o gore napisanom i svijetu u kojem živimo. Jedna kaže da je opljačkan splitski nevladin aktivist, divan čovjek koji se puno davao i daje za druge, tako što ga je lopov uhodio vidjevši da je odložio novčanik na suvozačevo mjesto dok je izlazio iz automobila. 

 

Nota bene, pokradeni čovjek se teško okreće, no to u ništariji koja ga je opelješila nije probudilo ni najmanju empatiju. Gotovo istovremeno, sedamnaestogodišnjem mladiću koji je u trgovačkom centru izgubio eure kojima je trebao platiti vozački ispit, nije se javio pošteni nalaznik. Koga briga za njega i njegovu ušteđevinu koju je krvavo stekao? Što zelembać nije pazio?

 

Ispada da bez obzira koliko mi isticali suprotne primjere u kojima pobjeđuju dobrota i poštenje, većini danas ništa nije sveto. Gledamo takvo što i na filmovima: na dekadentnom Zapadu dolar je jedino u što se iskreno vjeruje. O.K., oduvijek se tamo zbog zelenih novčanica gazilo sve i svakoga, ali takva se atmosfera danas osjeća i u našem vilajetu. Nije važan put do kapitala, niti da je on nužno popločan dobrim namjerama, već kapital sam po sebi. On je poput svetoga grala. 

 

Individualizam, želja za dokazivanjem i isticanjem, odmah i sada, jači su od bilo kakvog zajedničkog interesa, općeg dobra i društvenog značaja, morala, zemaljskih i nebeskih zakona, pa se nije čuditi da ćemo sve češće svjedočiti pričama poput ove u kojoj je opljačkan invalid, a sirotom mladiću neka fukara nije vratila novac, kao da će mu ta suma išta promijeniti u životu. Rekli bi u onoj nekoć popularnoj emisiji: tražili ste – gledajte. Eto vam na.

Živimo najgore strane kapitalizma: ljudima više nije problem pokrasti nemoćne ili ne vratiti pronađene vrijednosti

U ono doba nismo zaključavali vrata, a i što smo, realno, imali čuvati? Manje-više svi su bili, kako je to jednom Nele Karajlić rekao –  jednako siromašni. Većina je živjela po JUS-u, jugoslavenskom standardu iznad kojeg su stršile samo komunističke glavešine. Zato u to vrijeme nije bila vijest kad bi netko vratio pronađeni novac ili kakvu drugu vrijednost. To se, jednostavno, podrazumijevalo: "Druže, je li ovo vaše? Jest. Hvala, druže. Ma, nema na čemu."  

 

Napuštanjem ili propašću sustava u kojem se njegovao kolektivizam, kako tko već na to gleda, solidarnost je zamijenila pohlepa, bolje rečeno – banditizam: i to onaj veliki koji smo iskusili kroz pretvorbu i privatizaciju, ali i mali, svakodnevni i prizemni. Ništa čudno. Kapitalizam počiva upravo na najgor...
