Srušio se most dužine 2,3 kilometra u Baltimoreu u američkoj saveznoj državi Maryland nakon što se u njega zabio teretni brod. Videosnimke nadzornih kamera koje uživo prenose pokazuju kako se most star 47 godina urušava nakon što se u njega zabio veliki tereti brod. Videozapisi na društvenim mrežama prikazuju trenutak kad se teretni brod približava jednome od potpornih stupova mosta Francis Scott Key. Zabija se u stup pri čemu se most urušava u rijeku Patapsco, zajedno s automobilima koji su u to vrijeme bili na mostu.

Teška nesreća se dogodila u 1.35 sati po noći, a policija Baltimorea navodi da se most djelomično urušio. Okrug Baltimore je izvijestio da je u vodi oko broda bilo puno dizelskog goriva. Kako javlja AP, zasad je samo dvoje ljudi spašeno je iz hladne vode.

Vatrogasna postrojba grada Baltimorea rekla je za CBS News da su oko 1:30 ujutro počelo stizati prijave da je plovilo udarilo u stup mosta. Nije bilo jasno koliko je vozila bilo na mostu, ali je na njemu "sigurno bila jedna velika kamionska prikolica".

Prema najnovijim podacima smatra se da je najmanje 20 radnika palo u vodu, rekao je za BBC Kevin Cartwright iz vatrogasne postrojbe Baltimorea. Ranije je izvijestio da spasicu traže najmanje sedmero ljudi u rijeci Patapsco. 

Svjedok s mjesta događaja objavio je fotografije posljedica urušavanja mosta. "Više vatrogasnih i policijskih brodova je na putu prema mostu", javio na mreži X. Trenutno je u akciju spašavanja uključeno više od deset brodova.

Prema podacima stranice Marine Traffice, radi se o kontejnerskom brodu Dali, koji plovi pod zastavom Singapura. Prema istoj stranici, prvi brod koji je stigao na mjesto nesreće desetak minuta kasnije bio je tegljač Eric Mcallister koji se nalazio u luci. Pridružio mu se drugi tegljač Bridget Mcallister te brod za potragu i spašavanje oko 25 minuta nakon nesreće. Sada je u akciju spašavanja uključeno više od 10 brodova. 

Niske temperature vode brinu spasioce, potraga se širi

Niska temperatura vode oko 10 stupnjeva i ograničena vidljivost na mjestu urušavanja mosta stvaraju veliku zabrinutost kod spasioca u trenucima dok se traga za najmanje 20 ljudi za koje se vjeruje da su pali u rijeku. Kevin Cartwright iz vatrogasne postrojbe Baltimorea rekao je za CNN da surađuju s američkom obalnom stražom i da tim ronilaca u rijeci traga za preživjelima.

"Ovo se dogodilo u 1:30 ujutro uz ograničenu vidljivost pa radimo vrlo agresivno, uzimajući u obzir temperaturu okoliša i temperaturu vode kako bismo pokušali spasiti i možda izvući ljude", rekao je Cartwright.

Snimke nadzorne kamere i podaci o pomorskom praćenju pokazuju da je kontejnerski brod Dali počeo gubiti snagu, promijenio kurs i počeo se dimiti prije nego što je udario u most u Baltimoru. Na snimci se vidi kako usporava i gubi snagu prije udara u most, a potom počinje ispuštati crni dim. Oko dvije minute prije udara svjetla na brodu se po drugi put gase. Do udara je došlo u točno 1:28:44 po lokalnom vremenu, a most se srušio u rijeku samo četiri sekunde nakon toga.

Srušio se most dužine 2,3 kilometra u Baltimoreu u američkoj saveznoj državi Maryland nakon što se u njega zabio teretni brod. Videosnimke nadzornih kamera koje uživo prenose pokazuju kako se most star 47 godina urušava nakon što se u njega zabio veliki tereti brod. Videozapisi na društvenim mrežama prikazuju trenutak kad se teretni brod približava jednome od potpornih stupova mosta Francis Scott Key. Zabija se u stup pri čemu se most urušava u rijeku Patapsco, zajedno s automobilima koji su u to vrijeme bili na mostu.

Teška nesreća se dogodila u 1.35 sati po noći, a policija Baltimorea navodi da se most djelomično urušio. Okrug Baltimore je izvijestio da je u vodi oko broda bilo puno dizelskog goriva. Kako javlja AP, zasad je samo dvoje ljudi spašeno je iz hladne vode.

Vatrogasna postrojba grada Baltimorea rekla je za CBS News da su oko 1:30 ujutro počelo stizati prijave da je plovilo udarilo u stup mosta. Nije bilo jasno koliko je vozila bilo na mostu, ali je na njemu "sigurno bila jedna velika kamionska prikolica".

Prema najnovijim podacima smatra se da je najmanje 20 radnika palo u vodu, rekao je za BBC Kevin Cartwright iz vatrogasne postrojbe Baltimorea. Ranije je izvijestio da spasicu traže najmanje sedmero ljudi u rijeci Patapsco. 

Svjedok s mjesta događaja objavio je fotografije posljedica urušavanja mosta. "Više vatrogasnih i policijskih brodova je na putu prema mostu", javio na mreži X. Trenutno je u akciju spašavanja uključeno više od deset brodova.

Prema podacima stranice Marine Traffice, radi se o kontejnerskom brodu Dali, koji plovi pod zastavom Singapura. Prema istoj stranici, prvi brod koji je stigao na mjesto nesreće desetak minuta kasnije bio je tegljač Eric Mcallister koji se nalazio u luci. Pridružio mu se drugi tegljač Bridget Mcallister te brod za potragu i spašavanje oko 25 minuta nakon nesreće. Sada je u akciju spašavanja uključeno više od 10 brodova. 

Niske temperature vode brinu spasioce, potraga se širi

Niska temperatura vode oko 10 stupnjeva i ograničena vidljivost na mjestu urušavanja mosta stvaraju veliku zabrinutost kod spasioca u trenucima dok se traga za najmanje 20 ljudi za koje se vjeruje da su pali u rijeku. Kevin Cartwright iz vatrogasne postrojbe Baltimorea rekao je za CNN da surađuju s američkom obalnom stražom i da tim ronilaca u rijeci traga za preživjelima.

"Ovo se dogodilo u 1:30 ujutro uz ograničenu vidljivost pa radimo vrlo agresivno, uzimajući u obzir temperaturu okoliša i temperaturu vode kako bismo pokušali spasiti i možda izvući ljude", rekao je Cartwright.

Snimke nadzorne kamere i podaci o pomorskom praćenju pokazuju da je kontejnerski brod Dali počeo gubiti snagu, promijenio kurs i počeo se dimiti prije nego što je udario u most u Baltimoru. Na snimci se vidi kako usporava i gubi snagu prije udara u most, a potom počinje ispuštati crni dim. Oko dvije minute prije udara svjetla na brodu se po drugi put gase. Do udara je došlo u točno 1:28:44 po lokalnom vremenu, a most se srušio u rijeku samo četiri sekunde nakon toga.
