Švicarska skijališta nastavljaju s pripremama za sezonu unatoč pritisku susjedne Italije, Francuske i Njemačke da se ne otvaraju dok ne prođe drugi val pandemije koronavirusa.

Ministar zdravstva Alain Berset predložio je ograničavanje broja ljudi na žičarama za Božić i Novu godinu, na užas tvrtki i planinskih regija koje očekuju velik broj turista.

Gradonačelnik poznatog skijališta Verbiera Eloi Rossier razumije zabrinutost susjeda, ali kaže da je skijanje o kojem grad ovisi prevažno da bi ga se tek tako zabranilo, osobito imajući na umu mjere koje su već poduzete radi zaštite ljudi.

Za Božić i Novu Godinu očekuje do 45.000 ljudi, manje nego inače jer su neki otkazali dolazak.

"Ekonomski aspekt ne možemo zanemariti, to je jako važno", rekao je Rossier. "Za širenje virusa nije krivo skijanje, nego ono što dolazi poslije. Poduzeli smo vrlo stroge mjere da bi smanjili rizik", istaknuo je.

Francuska je u srijedu najavila će provoditi nasumične granične kontrole kako bi spriječila ljude da se prelaskom u zemlje u kojima su otvorena skijališta zaraze covidom-19.

Premijer Jean Castex rekao je da postoji i mogućnost uvođenja sedmodnevne karantene za Francuze koji odluče blagdane provesti na skijalištima u susjednoj Švicarskoj i Španjolskoj.

Njemačka i Italija dijele stajalište Francuske, no Austrija, Švicarska i Španjolska sklone su otvaranju svojih skijališta. Castex smatra da se još može postići europsko suglasje o tom pitanju.

Tijekom prvog vala pandemije koronavirusa neka su skijališta bila pravi rasadnik zaraze ubrzavši širenje infekcije diljem Europe.

Švicarska skijališta nastavljaju s pripremama za sezonu unatoč pritisku susjedne Italije, Francuske i Njemačke da se ne otvaraju dok ne prođe drugi val pandemije koronavirusa.

Ministar zdravstva Alain Berset predložio je ograničavanje broja ljudi na žičarama za Božić i Novu godinu, na užas tvrtki i planinskih regija koje očekuju velik broj turista.

Gradonačelnik poznatog skijališta Verbiera Eloi Rossier razumije zabrinutost susjeda, ali kaže da je skijanje o kojem grad ovisi prevažno da bi ga se tek tako zabranilo, osobito imajući na umu mjere koje su već poduzete radi zaštite ljudi.

Za Božić i Novu Godinu očekuje do 45.000 ljudi, manje nego inače jer su neki otkazali dolazak.

"Ekonomski aspekt ne možemo zanemariti, to je jako važno", rekao je Rossier. "Za širenje virusa nije krivo skijanje, nego ono što dolazi poslije. Poduzeli smo vrlo stroge mjere da bi smanjili rizik", istaknuo je.

Francuska je u srijedu najavila će provoditi nasumične granične kontrole kako bi spriječila ljude da se prelaskom u zemlje u kojima su otvorena skijališta zaraze covidom-19.

Premijer Jean Castex rekao je da postoji i mogućnost uvođenja sedmodnevne karantene za Francuze koji odluče blagdane provesti na skijalištima u susjednoj Švicarskoj i Španjolskoj.

Njemačka i Italija dijele stajalište Francuske, no Austrija, Švicarska i Španjolska sklone su otvaranju svojih skijališta. Castex smatra da se još može postići europsko suglasje o tom pitanju.

Tijekom prvog vala pandemije koronavirusa neka su skijališta bila pravi rasadnik zaraze ubrzavši širenje infekcije diljem Europe.

Švicarska skijališta nastavljaju s pripremama za sezonu unatoč pritisku susjedne Italije, Francuske i Njemačke da se ne otvaraju dok ne prođe drugi val pandemije koronavirusa.

Ministar zdravstva Alain Berset predložio je ograničavanje broja ljudi na žičarama za Božić i Novu godinu, na užas tvrtki i planinskih regija koje očekuju velik broj turista.

Gradonačelnik poznatog skijališta Verbiera Eloi Rossier razumije zabrinutost susjeda, ali kaže da je skijanje o kojem grad ovisi prevažno da bi ga se tek tako zabranilo, osobito imajući na umu mjere koje su već poduzete radi zaštite ljudi.

Za Božić i Novu Godinu očekuje do 45.000 ljudi, manje nego inače jer su neki otkazali dolazak.
