Oko dva milijuna muslimana iz cijeloga svijeta očekuje se tijekom idućeg tjedna na hodočašću u najsvetije mjesto islama Meku i u obližnje gradove, a počinje u nedjelju.
Hadž, jedan od pet stupova islama, obvezan je za sve vjernike muslimanske vjere bar jedanput u životu, ako posjeduju dovoljno novca za podmirenje troškova putovanja i dobrog su zdravlja te su fizički spremni za posjet rodnome mjestu proroka Muhameda.
Obveza hadža nastupa čim vjernik prvi put u životu osigura višak materijalnih sredstava dostatan za sve troškove hodočašća, što podrazumijeva i da nije zadužen te da ima osiguran stan i opskrbu za svoju obitelj dok je odsutan.
Uz navedene uvjete, žena hodočašće mora obaviti sa mahremom, svojim mužem ili muškarcem koji se njome ne može oženiti, poput brata, sina... Ako ne može obaviti hadž s mahremom na hadž kreće u skupini žena.
Za hodočasnike je Ćaba, kockasta građevina u sredini velike džamije u Meki, najsvetiji dio svetišta.
Vjernici kruže oko Ćabe kako bi obavili obred poznat kao Tawaf prije nego što krenu prema dolini Mini i započnu uspon na goru Arafat, istočno od Meke, što je vrhunac hadža.
Muškarci odijevaju ihrame ili nešivenu bijelu odjeću, a žene običnu široku odjeću koju nose u svakodnevnom životu. Žene ne smiju nositi nakit, niti se smiju našminkati.
Gotovo 1,7 milijuna hodočasnika već je stiglo s četiriju strana svijeta, pokazuju službeni podaci objavljeni u četvrtak. Kako bi im se olakšalo sudjelovanje u tom događaju golemih razmjera, hodočasnici na svojim mobitelima imaju sve veći broj aplikacija na svjetskim jezicima.
Obredi počinju u nedjelju i traju do petka, a očekuju se temperature veće od 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva.
Tijekom hadža, koji je velik logistički izazov, od 1987. dogodilo se nekoliko tragedija u kojima su stotine ljudi poginule u stampedima i u sukobima saudijske policije i iranskih hodočasnika koji su provjedovali protiv Sjedinjenih Država i Izraela.
U studiji koju je objavio američki istraživački institut Pew Center procjenjuje se da će broj muslimana u svijetu s 1,8 milijarda u 2015. narasti na tri milijarde do 2060., što je povećanje od 70 posto.

Oko dva milijuna muslimana iz cijeloga svijeta očekuje se tijekom idućeg tjedna na hodočašću u najsvetije mjesto islama Meku i u obližnje gradove, a počinje u nedjelju.
Hadž, jedan od pet stupova islama, obvezan je za sve vjernike muslimanske vjere bar jedanput u životu, ako posjeduju dovoljno novca za podmirenje troškova putovanja i dobrog su zdravlja te su fizički spremni za posjet rodnome mjestu proroka Muhameda.
Obveza hadža nastupa čim vjernik prvi put u životu osigura višak materijalnih sredstava dostatan za sve troškove hodočašća, što podrazumijeva i da nije zadužen te da ima osiguran stan i opskrbu za svoju obitelj dok je odsutan.
Uz navedene uvjete, žena hodočašće mora obaviti sa mahremom, svojim mužem ili muškarcem koji se njome ne može oženiti, poput brata, sina... Ako ne može obaviti hadž s mahremom na hadž kreće u skupini žena.
Za hodočasnike je Ćaba, kockasta građevina u sredini velike džamije u Meki, najsvetiji dio svetišta.
Vjernici kruže oko Ćabe kako bi obavili obred poznat kao Tawaf prije nego što krenu prema dolini Mini i započnu uspon na goru Arafat, istočno od Meke, što je vrhunac hadža.
Muškarci odijevaju ihrame ili nešivenu bijelu odjeću, a žene običnu široku odjeću koju nose u svakodnevnom životu. Žene ne smiju nositi nakit, niti se smiju našminkati.
Gotovo 1,7 milijuna hodočasnika već je stiglo s četiriju strana svijeta, pokazuju službeni podaci objavljeni u četvrtak. Kako bi im se olakšalo sudjelovanje u tom događaju golemih razmjera, hodočasnici na svojim mobitelima imaju sve veći broj aplikacija na svjetskim jezicima.
Obredi počinju u nedjelju i traju do petka, a očekuju se temperature veće od 40 Celzijevih stupnjeva.
Tijekom hadža, koji je velik logistički izazov, od 1987. dogodilo se nekoliko tragedija u kojima su stotine ljudi poginule u stampedima i u sukobima saudijske policije i iranskih hodočasnika koji su provjedovali protiv Sjedinjenih Država i Izraela.
U studiji koju je objavio američki istraživački institut Pew Center procjenjuje se da će broj muslimana u svijetu s 1,8 milijarda u 2015. narasti na tri milijarde do 2060., što je povećanje od 70 posto.
