Bivši šef Međunarodnog monetarnog fonda Dominique Strauss-Kahn danas se na Vrhovnom sudu savezne države New York izjasnio nevinim za optužbe o seksualnom napadu na sobaricu hotela u New Yorku.

Strauss-Kahn je na Sud stigao u pratnji supruge Anne Sinclair, dok mu je velika skupina hotelskih radnika pred sudom vikala "srami se".

David Bookstaver, glasnogovornik suda, izjavio je kako je posljednje pojavljivanje Straussa-Kahna pred sudom privuklo medijsku pažnju kakvu je sud zadnji put vidio na čitanju optužnice protiv Marka Davida Chapmana, ubojice Johna Lennona.

Strauss-Kahn optužen je za napad na 32-godišnju Gvinejku, sobaricu u hotelu Sofitel na Manhattanu 14. svibnja, a u dokumentima tužiteljstva stoji kako ju je zgrabio za grudi i pokušao joj skinuti hlače. Navodi se i kako ju je pokušao silovati te prisiliti na oralni seks.

Strauss-Kahn je prije optužbe za silovanje bio naizgledniji kandidat za budućeg francuskog predsjednika.

U ostavci na položaj šefa MMF-a istaknuo je kako nije kriv. Njegov odvjetnik pokušat će dokazati da je sobarica pristala na odnos, no tužiteljstvo je na ranijim saslušanjima izjavilo kako preliminarna istraga podupire njenu verziju događaja.

Strauss-Kahn pušten je uz milijunsku jamčevinu i pod paskom naoružanih čuvara živi u unajmljenom stanu na Manhattanu sa suprugom Anne Sinclaire. Ako ga osude za najteže točke optužnice mogao bi dobiti i 25 godina zatvora.

Bivši šef Međunarodnog monetarnog fonda Dominique Strauss-Kahn danas se na Vrhovnom sudu savezne države New York izjasnio nevinim za optužbe o seksualnom napadu na sobaricu hotela u New Yorku.

Strauss-Kahn je na Sud stigao u pratnji supruge Anne Sinclair, dok mu je velika skupina hotelskih radnika pred sudom vikala "srami se".

David Bookstaver, glasnogovornik suda, izjavio je kako je posljednje pojavljivanje Straussa-Kahna pred sudom privuklo medijsku pažnju kakvu je sud zadnji put vidio na čitanju optužnice protiv Marka Davida Chapmana, ubojice Johna Lennona.

Strauss-Kahn optužen je za napad na 32-godišnju Gvinejku, sobaricu u hotelu Sofitel na Manhattanu 14. svibnja, a u dokumentima tužiteljstva stoji kako ju je zgrabio za grudi i pokušao joj skinuti hlače. Navodi se i kako ju je pokušao silovati te prisiliti na oralni seks.

Strauss-Kahn je prije optužbe za silovanje bio naizgledniji kandidat za budućeg francuskog predsjednika.

U ostavci na položaj šefa MMF-a istaknuo je kako nije kriv. Njegov odvjetnik pokušat će dokazati da je sobarica pristala na odnos, no tužiteljstvo je na ranijim saslušanjima izjavilo kako preliminarna istraga podupire njenu verziju događaja.

Strauss-Kahn pušten je uz milijunsku jamčevinu i pod paskom naoružanih čuvara živi u unajmljenom stanu na Manhattanu sa suprugom Anne Sinclaire. Ako ga osude za najteže točke optužnice mogao bi dobiti i 25 godina zatvora.
