Trogodišnju djevojčicu umalo je usred bijela dana oteo beskućnik u četvrti Bronx u New Yorku, piše Daily Mail.

Šokantan događaj snimljen je nadzornom kamerom, a na snimci se vidi kako se skitnica približava djeci i otima djevojčicu koja je šetala s bakom i svoja dva brata.

65-godišnja baka odmah je počela trčati za muškarcem koji je nosio djevojčicu, dok je drugo dvoje djece ostalo uz rub ceste s užasom promatrati što se događa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Srećom, u blizini se našlo nekoliko hrabrih prolaznika koji su vidjeli što se dogodilo. Jedan muškarac koji je na obližnjoj benzinskoj pumpi natakao gorivo, preplašio je otmičara tako da je ovaj ispustio dijete i pobjegao na skuteru.

'Upravo sam meo ulicu, kad je prošla ta žena s troje djece. Iznenada im se približio muškarac, prebacio deku preko djevojčice i pobjegao s njom u naručju', kazao je Fermin Bracero (63) koji se također zatekao na mjestu incidenta. 'No onda se nekolicina nas uključila i otmičar je pustio dijete.'

Nedugo nakon incidenta, policija je pronašla 27-godišnjeg otmičara Santiaga Salceda kako spava uz jedna vrata.

Uhićen je i optužen za otmicu, pokušaj otmice i ugrožavanje sigurnosti djece.

Ovaj, srećom neuspješan, pokušaj otmice dio je sveukupnog porasta nasilnih zločina koje su počinili beskućnici s obzirom da se njihov broj u proteklom desetljeću u New Yorku povećao za 103 posto te nastavio rasti i uslijed korona-krize.

Posljednjih nekoliko godina broj beskućnika u New Yorku premašio je razne iz Velike depresije 1930-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, objavila je humanitarna organizacija Kolicija za beskućnike New Yorka. U kolovozu 2021. u prihvalilištima za beskućnike grada New Yorka, spavalo je 47.979 beskućnika, uključujući i 14.881 dijete.

Koalicija za beskućnike upozorava da se ovi podaci odnose samo na beskućnike u prihvatilištima, dok se ukupan broj beskućnika koji lutaju ulicama i podzemnom željeznicom grada, uoće ne zna.

Trogodišnju djevojčicu umalo je usred bijela dana oteo beskućnik u četvrti Bronx u New Yorku, piše Daily Mail.

Šokantan događaj snimljen je nadzornom kamerom, a na snimci se vidi kako se skitnica približava djeci i otima djevojčicu koja je šetala s bakom i svoja dva brata.

65-godišnja baka odmah je počela trčati za muškarcem koji je nosio djevojčicu, dok je drugo dvoje djece ostalo uz rub ceste s užasom promatrati što se događa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Srećom, u blizini se našlo nekoliko hrabrih prolaznika koji su vidjeli što se dogodilo. Jedan muškarac koji je na obližnjoj benzinskoj pumpi natakao gorivo, preplašio je otmičara tako da je ovaj ispustio dijete i pobjegao na skuteru.

'Upravo sam meo ulicu, kad je prošla ta žena s troje djece. Iznenada im se približio muškarac, prebacio deku preko djevojčice i pobjegao s njom u naručju', kazao je Fermin Bracero (63) koji se također zatekao na mjestu incidenta. 'No onda se nekolicina nas uključila i otmičar je pustio dijete.'

Nedugo nakon incidenta, policija je pronašla 27-godišnjeg otmičara Santiaga Salceda kako spava uz jedna vrata.

Uhićen je i optužen za otmicu, pokušaj otmice i ugrožavanje sigurnosti djece.

Ovaj, srećom neuspješan, pokušaj otmice dio je sveukupnog porasta nasilnih zločina koje su počinili beskućnici s obzirom da se njihov broj u proteklom desetljeću u New Yorku povećao za 103 posto te nastavio rasti i uslijed korona-krize.

Posljednjih nekoliko godina broj beskućnika u New Yorku premašio je razne iz Velike depresije 1930-ih godina prošlog stoljeća, objavila je humanitarna organizacija Kolicija za beskućnike New Yorka. U kolovozu 2021. u prihvalilištima za beskućnike grada New Yorka, spavalo je 47.979 beskućnika, uključujući i 14.881 dijete.

Koalicija za beskućnike upozorava da se ovi podaci odnose samo na beskućnike u prihvatilištima, dok se ukupan broj beskućnika koji lutaju ulicama i podzemnom željeznicom grada, uoće ne zna.

Trogodišnju djevojčicu umalo je usred bijela dana oteo beskućnik u četvrti Bronx u New Yorku, piše Daily Mail.

Šokantan događaj snimljen je nadzornom kamerom, a na snimci se vidi kako se skitnica približava djeci i otima djevojčicu koja je šetala s bakom i svoja dva brata.

65-godišnja baka odmah je počela trčati za muškarcem koji je nosio djevojčicu, dok je drugo dvoje djece ostalo uz rub ceste s užasom promatrati što se događa, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Srećom, u blizini se našlo nekoliko hrabrih prolaznika koji su vidjeli što se dogodilo. Jedan muškarac koji je na obližnjoj benzinskoj pumpi natakao gorivo, preplašio je otmičara tako da je ovaj ispustio dijete i pobjegao na skuteru.

'Upravo sam meo ulicu, kad je prošla ta žena s troje djece. Iznenada im se približio ...
