Najmanje 810 Sirijaca je ubijeno, a na tisuće ih je ozlijeđeno u Alepu, Hami, Latakiji i Tartousu, prenosi AFP. Potres magnitude 7,8, čije je središte bilo u jugoistočnoj Turskoj, osjetio se do Izraela i Cipra. Teško su pogođeni dijelovi Sirije, ionako teško pogođenoj u ratnim sukobima.

U Siriji je na snazi krhki prekid vatre od početka 2020. Posljedice rata - golema razaranja, akutna gospodarska kriza, kolaps valute - otežavaju već sada akcije spašavanja i buduću obnovu stradalih područja, javlja jeruzalemski dopisnik New York Timesa.

Potres je pogodio Alep, najveći grad u zemlji, koji je danas sjena je onoga što je nekad bio, bez struje, s nestašicom goriva i visokom nezaposlenošću. Potresom je teško pogođen sjeverozapadni dio Sirije, koji je pod kontrolom oporbe koju podržava Turska. Na tom području, izvan kontrole Damaska, danas živi oko 4,2 milijuna ljudi, od kojih je više od polovice raseljeno iz drugih dijelova zemlje, piše Jutarnji list. 

Poziv diplomatima da pritisnu Assadov režim

Mnogi žive u velikim šatorskim kampovima. Lokalne vlasti proglasile su izvanredno stanje i pozvale međunarodnu zajednicu na hitnu pomoć. Također su pozvali svjetske diplomate da izvrše pritisak na režim Bashara al-Assada i njegovog ruskog saveznika kako bi osigurali da na potresom pogođenim područjima ne bude bombardiranja.

U Idlibu pored Alepa oštećena je bolnica koja radi uz podršku Sirijsko-američkog medicinskog društva, i morala je biti evakuirana, prenosi NYT.

Sirijski BDP se između 2010. i 2020. smanjio za više od polovice, prema podacima Svjetske banke. Zbog velikog pada BDP-a Sirija se od 2018. vodi kao zemlja s niskim dohotkom. Pandemija koronavirusa dodatno je produbila ekonomsku krizu, opteretivši zdravstveni sustav zemlje.

Najmanje 810 Sirijaca je ubijeno, a na tisuće ih je ozlijeđeno u Alepu, Hami, Latakiji i Tartousu, prenosi AFP. Potres magnitude 7,8, čije je središte bilo u jugoistočnoj Turskoj, osjetio se do Izraela i Cipra. Teško su pogođeni dijelovi Sirije, ionako teško pogođenoj u ratnim sukobima.

U Siriji je na snazi krhki prekid vatre od početka 2020. Posljedice rata - golema razaranja, akutna gospodarska kriza, kolaps valute - otežavaju već sada akcije spašavanja i buduću obnovu stradalih područja, javlja jeruzalemski dopisnik New York Timesa.

Potres je pogodio Alep, najveći grad u zemlji, koji je danas sjena je onoga što je nekad bio, bez struje, s nestašicom goriva i visokom nezaposlenošću. Potresom je teško pogođen sjeverozapadni dio Sirije, koji je pod kontrolom oporbe koju podržava Turska. Na tom području, izvan kontrole Damaska, danas živi oko 4,2 milijuna ljudi, od kojih je više od polovice raseljeno iz drugih dijelova zemlje, piše Jutarnji list.

Mnogi žive u velikim šatorskim kampovima. Lokalne vlasti proglasile su izvanredno stanje i pozvale međunarodnu zajednicu na hitnu pomoć. U Idlibu pored Alepa oštećena je bolnica koja radi uz podršku Sirijsko-američkog medicinskog društva, i morala je biti evakuirana, prenosi NYT.

Sirijski BDP se između 2010. i 2020. smanjio za više od polovice, prema podacima Svjetske banke. Zbog velikog pada BDP-a Sirija se od 2018. vodi kao zemlja s niskim dohotkom. Pandemija koronavirusa dodatno je produbila ekonomsku krizu, opteretivši zdravstveni sustav zemlje.

Najmanje 810 Sirijaca je ubijeno, a na tisuće ih je ozlijeđeno u Alepu, Hami, Latakiji i Tartousu, prenosi AFP. Potres magnitude 7,8, čije je središte bilo u jugoistočnoj Turskoj, osjetio se do Izraela i Cipra. Teško su pogođeni dijelovi Sirije, ionako teško pogođenoj u ratnim sukobima.

U Siriji je na snazi krhki prekid vatre od početka 2020. Posljedice rata - golema razaranja, akutna gospodarska kriza, kolaps valute - otežavaju već sada akcije spašavanja i buduću obnovu stradalih područja, javlja jeruzalemski dopisnik New York Timesa.

Potres je pogodio Alep, najveći grad u zemlji, koji je danas sjena je onoga što je nekad bio, bez struje, s nestašicom goriva i visokom nezaposlenošću. Potresom je teško pogođen sjeverozapadni dio Sirije, koji je pod kontrolom oporbe koju pod...
