Rusija će možda slati svoje zatvorenike u čišćenje Arktika, područja stradalog u nizu industrijskih nesreća, rekao je u petak ravnatelj ruske Savezne zatvorske uprave (FSIN).

"FSIN proučava mogućnost mobilizacije osuđenika radi uklanjanja onečišćenja na dijelovima arktičkog teritorija", rekao je Aleksandar Kalašnjikov na sastanku s visokim dužnosnicima zatvorskih službi, što je FSIN potvrdio za novinsku agenciju France Presse.

Uprava Noriljska, industrijskog grada vrlo onečišćenog rudarskom djelatnošću, potpisala je takav ugovor, rekao je.

Okolica Noriljska, gdje djeluje velika rudarska kompanija Noriljsk nikelj, stradala je lani u ekološkoj katastrofi kada se u nekoliko rijeka izlila 21.000 tona nafte, stvorivši golemu crvenu mrlju vidljivu iz svemira.

Još u prosincu vlasti su na Arktičkom forumu u Sankt Peterburgu spomenule taj projekt slanja zatvorenika u čišćenje Arktika.
Elena Korobkova, čelnica FSIN-a, govorila je da bi zatvorenici mogli biti smješteni u "mobilne modulske objekte" u tim zabitnim područjima.

"Organizacije koje čiste arktičko područje pozvane su na suradnju s FSIN-om koja bi bila obostrano korisna, kako bi se zatvorenike privuklo na takav posao", rekla je, prenosi mrežna stranica Foruma.

Čelnici FSIN-a nisu rekli ništa o mogućem nagrađivanju zatvorenika, poput skraćenja kazne ili veće plaće od one koju osuđenici trenutačno dobivaju u kaznenim kolonijama.

Ako se provede, takva bi mjera podsjećala na Gulag iz Staljinova doba, gdje su zatvorenici iskorištavani za teške radove, primjerice za kopanje kanala u Bijelome moru (1931.-1933.), na sjeverozapadu zemlje, gdje su stotine tisuća zatvorenika ostavile život.

Rusija će možda slati svoje zatvorenike u čišćenje Arktika, područja stradalog u nizu industrijskih nesreća, rekao je u petak ravnatelj ruske Savezne zatvorske uprave (FSIN).

"FSIN proučava mogućnost mobilizacije osuđenika radi uklanjanja onečišćenja na dijelovima arktičkog teritorija", rekao je Aleksandar Kalašnjikov na sastanku s visokim dužnosnicima zatvorskih službi, što je FSIN potvrdio za novinsku agenciju France Presse.

Uprava Noriljska, industrijskog grada vrlo onečišćenog rudarskom djelatnošću, potpisala je takav ugovor, rekao je.

Okolica Noriljska, gdje djeluje velika rudarska kompanija Noriljsk nikelj, stradala je lani u ekološkoj katastrofi kada se u nekoliko rijeka izlila 21.000 tona nafte, stvorivši golemu crvenu mrlju vidljivu iz svemira.

Još u prosincu vlasti su na Arktičkom forumu u Sankt Peterburgu spomenule taj projekt slanja zatvorenika u čišćenje Arktika.
Elena Korobkova, čelnica FSIN-a, govorila je da bi zatvorenici mogli biti smješteni u "mobilne modulske objekte" u tim zabitnim područjima.

"Organizacije koje čiste arktičko područje pozvane su na suradnju s FSIN-om koja bi bila obostrano korisna, kako bi se zatvorenike privuklo na takav posao", rekla je, prenosi mrežna stranica Foruma.

Čelnici FSIN-a nisu rekli ništa o mogućem nagrađivanju zatvorenika, poput skraćenja kazne ili veće plaće od one koju osuđenici trenutačno dobivaju u kaznenim kolonijama.

Ako se provede, takva bi mjera podsjećala na Gulag iz Staljinova doba, gdje su zatvorenici iskorištavani za teške radove, primjerice za kopanje kanala u Bijelome moru (1931.-1933.), na sjeverozapadu zemlje, gdje su stotine tisuća zatvorenika ostavile život.

Rusija će možda slati svoje zatvorenike u čišćenje Arktika, područja stradalog u nizu industrijskih nesreća, rekao je u petak ravnatelj ruske Savezne zatvorske uprave (FSIN).

"FSIN proučava mogućnost mobilizacije osuđenika radi uklanjanja onečišćenja na dijelovima arktičkog teritorija", rekao je Aleksandar Kalašnjikov na sastanku s visokim dužnosnicima zatvorskih službi, što je FSIN potvrdio za novinsku agenciju France Presse.

Uprava Noriljska, industrijskog grada vrlo onečišćenog rudarskom djelatnošću, potpisala je takav ugovor, rekao je.

Okolica Noriljska, gdje djeluje velika rudarska kompanija Noriljsk nikelj, stradala je lani u ekološkoj katastrofi kada se u nekoliko rijeka izlila 21.000 tona nafte, stvorivši golemu crvenu mrlju vidljivu iz svemira.
