Talijanska kompanija IronLev prvi je puta testirala tehnologiju magnetske levitacije na tradicionalnoj željezničkoj infrastrukturi, tvrdeći da je otkrila rješenje koje ne zahtijeva skupu prilagodbu pruga.
Kompanija je snimku testa prikazala na sajmu LetExpo2024 u regiji Veneto. Snimka prikazuje prototip vlaka teškog jednu tonu koji putuje brzinom od 70 kilometara na sat na pruzi u zaleđu Venecije.
Tehnologija magnetske levitacije stvara zračni jastuk koji fizički odvaja vozilo od staze, smanjujući trenje, buku i vibracije, a time i potrošnju energije i troškove održavanja vlaka i infrastrukture.
Kina je koristi već gotovo dva desetljeća, ali u ograničenom opsegu. Brojne zemlje žele razviti mreže za vlakove bazirane na tehnologiji magnetske levitacije, ali njezino usvajanje koče visoki troškovi i potreba izgradnje nove pružne infrastrukture.
"Ispitivanje IronLeva predstavlja prvi i jedini slučaj primjene magnetske levitacije na postojećoj pruzi, bez preinaka i integracije pomoćnih elemenata", rekao je direktor Instituta za mehaničku inteligenciju na Scuola Superiore Sant‘ Ane u Pisi Massimo Bergamasco.

U dosadašnjim testovima magnetsko polje stvaralo se uz podršku ad-hoc infrastrukture, koja se često sastoji od zavojnica izrađenih od vodičkih materijala i uključuje znatno veće troškove nego tradicionalne željezničke pruge.
"Neki naši konkurenti proveli su testove na tračnicama koje su posebno prilagođene vozilima baziranim na tehnologiji magnetske levitacijom. Mi smo pokazali da naše vozilo može levitirati na postojećim tračnicama", rekao je Reutersu predsjednik IronLeva Adriano Girotto.
"To bjelodano znači da je upotreba naše tehnologije jednostavna", dodao je Girotto.
Cilj je IronLeva za nekoliko godina razviti probno vozilo koje će biti teško do 20 tona i moći će razviti brzinu do 200 kilometara na sat, rekao je.
Tehnologija se već koristi u praksi, u pomicanju teških prozora i dizala i prijevozu tereta u industrijskim pogonima.

Talijanska kompanija IronLev prvi je puta testirala tehnologiju magnetske levitacije na tradicionalnoj željezničkoj infrastrukturi, tvrdeći da je otkrila rješenje koje ne zahtijeva skupu prilagodbu pruga.
Kompanija je snimku testa prikazala na sajmu LetExpo2024 u regiji Veneto. Snimka prikazuje prototip vlaka teškog jednu tonu koji putuje brzinom od 70 kilometara na sat na pruzi u zaleđu Venecije.
Tehnologija magnetske levitacije stvara zračni jastuk koji fizički odvaja vozilo od staze, smanjujući trenje, buku i vibracije, a time i potrošnju energije i troškove održavanja vlaka i infrastrukture.
Kina je koristi već gotovo dva desetljeća, ali u ograničenom opsegu. Brojne zemlje žele razviti mreže za vlakove bazirane na tehnologiji magnetske levitacije, ali njezino usvajanje koče visoki troškovi i potreba izgradnje nove pružne infrastrukture.
"Ispitivanje IronLeva predstavlja prvi i jedini slučaj primjene magnetske levitacije na postojećoj pruzi, bez preinaka i integracije pomoćnih elemenata", rekao je direktor Instituta za mehaničku inteligenciju na Scuola Superiore Sant‘ Ane u Pisi Massimo Bergamasco.

U dosadašnjim testovima magnetsko polje stvaralo se uz podršku ad-hoc infrastrukture, koja se često sastoji od zavojnica izrađenih od vodičkih materijala i uključuje znatno veće troškove nego tradicionalne željezničke pruge.
"Neki naši konkurenti proveli su testove na tračnicama koje su posebno prilagođene vozilima baziranim na tehnologiji magnetske levitacijom. Mi smo pokazali da naše vozilo može levitirati na postojećim tračnicama", rekao je Reutersu predsjednik IronLeva Adriano Girotto.
"To bjelodano znači da je upotreba naše tehnologije jednostavna", dodao je Girotto.
Cilj je IronLeva za nekoliko godina razviti probno vozilo koje će biti teško do 20 tona i moći će razviti brzinu do 200 kilometara na sat, rekao je.
Tehnologija se već koristi u praksi, u pomicanju teških prozora i dizala i prijevozu tereta u industrijskim pogonima.
