Najava češkog premijera Petra Fiale da će Češko ratno zrakoplovstvo uskoro preuzeti dužnosti nadzora zračnog prozora Slovačke vjerojatni je uvod u slanje slovačkih zrakoplova MiG-29 Ukrajini.

Slovačka trenutačno raspolaže s 11 MiG-29, uglavnom jednosjeda MiG-29AS, te nekoliko dvosjeda MiG-29UBS. Avioni su obnovljeni i unaprijeđeni na NATO standarde početkom dvijetisućitih, a među nadogradnjama je NATO-ov sustav prepoznavanja prijateljskih letjelica, te višefunkcionalni ekrani u kokpitu.

Od samog početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, Slovačka je započela pregovarati o mogućem doniranju svojih MiG-ova ukrajinskim snagama. Sada kada je, čini se, postignut dogovor sa svim uključenim stranama, izgledi da će ukrajinske snage dobiti isporuku MiG-ova 29 u bliskoj budućnosti konačno bi mogli postati stvarnost.

Slovački premijer Eduard Heger kazao je na sastanku s Fialom kako bi sporazum o češkom nadzoru slovačkog neba mogao trajati oko godine dana - vjerojatno period unutar kojeg se Bratislava nada dobiti svoje prve primjerke Block 70 verzije F-16 lovaca.

Specijalizirani portal za vojnu tehnologiju The Drive War Zone spekulira da bi slovački MiG-ovi mogli biti rastavljeni i poslani u Ukrajinu kopnenim putem, umjesto da sami prelete preko granice.

Moskva stalno upozorava da bi slanje borbenih zrakoplova i druge napredne vojne tehnologije Ukrajini bilo prelazak 'crvene linije' nakon kojeg bi smatrali države donatore legitimnom vojnom metom. No, pitanje je koliko su takve prijetnje prazne, s obzirom na ogromne količine naprednih sustava koje su zapadne države dostavile Ukrajini proteklih tjedana - od američkih HIMARS bacača raketa do njemačkih Panzerhaubitze 2000 artiljerijskih sustava.

Iako bi Rusija na svaki mogući način željela spriječiti takvu vojnu pošiljku, vojni stručnjaci smatraju da doista malo što mogu učiniti osim špijunske operacije budući posjeduju vrlo ograničene mogućnosti dugog dometa za gađanje pokretnih ciljeva poput kopnenih pošiljki. U prošlosti su bili vrlo neučinkoviti u ovom pogledu. Jedna jako važna donacija iz Slovačke već se uspješno dogodila. Riječ je bila o isporuci moćnog raketnog sustava S-300, koji je u Ukrajinu poslan nakon što su SAD, Slovacima u zamjenu poslali sustav „Patriot“.

Najava češkog premijera Petra Fiale da će Češko ratno zrakoplovstvo uskoro preuzeti dužnosti nadzora zračnog prozora Slovačke vjerojatni je uvod u slanje slovačkih zrakoplova MiG-29 Ukrajini.

Slovačka trenutačno raspolaže s 11 MiG-29, uglavnom jednosjeda MiG-29AS, te nekoliko dvosjeda MiG-29UBS. Avioni su obnovljeni i unaprijeđeni na NATO standarde početkom dvijetisućitih, a među nadogradnjama je NATO-ov sustav prepoznavanja prijateljskih letjelica, te višefunkcionalni ekrani u kokpitu.

Od samog početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, Slovačka je započela pregovarati o mogućem doniranju svojih MiG-ova ukrajinskim snagama. Sada kada je, čini se, postignut dogovor sa svim uključenim stranama, izgledi da će ukrajinske snage dobiti isporuku MiG-ova 29 u bliskoj budućnosti konačno bi mogli postati stvarnost.

Slovački premijer Eduard Heger kazao je na sastanku s Fialom kako bi sporazum o češkom nadzoru slovačkog neba mogao trajati oko godine dana - vjerojatno period unutar kojeg se Bratislava nada dobiti svoje prve primjerke Block 70 verzije F-16 lovaca.

Specijalizirani portal za vojnu tehnologiju The Drive War Zone spekulira da bi slovački MiG-ovi mogli biti rastavljeni i poslani u Ukrajinu kopnenim putem, umjesto da sami prelete preko granice.

Moskva stalno upozorava da bi slanje borbenih zrakoplova i druge napredne vojne tehnologije Ukrajini bilo prelazak 'crvene linije' nakon kojeg bi smatrali države donatore legitimnom vojnom metom. No, pitanje je koliko su takve prijetnje prazne, s obzirom na ogromne količine naprednih sustava koje su zapadne države dostavile Ukrajini proteklih tjedana - od američkih HIMARS bacača raketa do njemačkih Panzerhaubitze 2000 artiljerijskih sustava.

Iako bi Rusija na svaki mogući način željela spriječiti takvu vojnu pošiljku, vojni stručnjaci smatraju da doista malo što mogu učiniti osim špijunske operacije budući posjeduju vrlo ograničene mogućnosti dugog dometa za gađanje pokretnih ciljeva poput kopnenih pošiljki. U prošlosti su bili vrlo neučinkoviti u ovom pogledu. Jedna jako važna donacija iz Slovačke već se uspješno dogodila. Riječ je bila o isporuci moćnog raketnog sustava S-300, koji je u Ukrajinu poslan nakon što su SAD, Slovacima u zamjenu poslali sustav „Patriot“.

Najava češkog premijera Petra Fiale da će Češko ratno zrakoplovstvo uskoro preuzeti dužnosti nadzora zračnog prozora Slovačke vjerojatni je uvod u slanje slovačkih zrakoplova MiG-29 Ukrajini.

Slovačka trenutačno raspolaže s 11 MiG-29, uglavnom jednosjeda MiG-29AS, te nekoliko dvosjeda MiG-29UBS. Avioni su obnovljeni i unaprijeđeni na NATO standarde početkom dvijetisućitih, a među nadogradnjama je NATO-ov sustav prepoznavanja prijateljskih letjelica, te višefunkcionalni ekrani u kokpitu.

Od samog početka ruske invazije na Ukrajinu, Slovačka je započela pregovarati o mogućem doniranju svojih MiG-ova ukrajinskim snagama. Sada kada je, čini se, postignut dogovor sa svim uključenim stranama, izgledi da će ukrajinske snage dobiti isporuku MiG-ova 29 u bliskoj budućnosti kona...
