Ronioci koji pretražuju olupinu kruzera Costa Concordia moraju se probijati kroz labirintske hodnike potonulog broda kojem prijeti klizanje u morske dubine, a sada se pojavila i još jedna neugodnost - smrad tijela poginulih putnika, piše Daily Mail.

Kako navode spasioci, zrak unutar potonulog broda 'nije za disanje', a šef vatrogasaca Enio Aquilino ga je usporedio sa mirisom frižidera punog hrane koji ostavljen ugašen tjedan dana.

Unatoč teškim uvjetima rada, ronioci ipak postižu rezultate, makar nesretne - još dva tijela su pronađena u utrobi broda. Broj poginulih tako se popeo na 15 ljudi .

Tijela dvaju žena pronađena su u potopljenom dijelu broda, u internet cafeu. Ronioci su do njih došli tek nakon što se eksplozivima probio prolaz u taj dio strukture plovila.

Jedno od tijela je ono Marie D'Inorno (30), koja je bila na medenom mjesecu. U more je skočila sa svojim mužem Vincenzom Rosellijem. Držali su se za ruke dok su skakali. Vjeruje se kako se Maria konopima popela natrag u brod jer nije znala plivati i strahovito se bojala vode. Njen strah joj je zapečatio sudbinu.

Ronioci sada tragaju za 24 do 25 ljudi. Naime, broj putnika veći je nego što je bilo navedeno u brodskom manifestu. Ronioci su tako jučer pronašli tijelo jedne Mađarice koja nije bila prijavljena na brod.

Službeno, za sada se traga za 17 osoba - tijela dvoje žena spustila su tu brojku sa 19, što znači da je na Costa Concordii bilo barem osmero neregistriranih putnika.

Osim nestalih putnika, vlasti se moraju brinuti i zbog prijeteće ekološke katastrofe. Brod je prepun goriva - vjeruje se kako ga u utrobi leži barem 2200 tona - a u slučaju puknuća rezervoara djevičansko more otoka Giglia biti će zagađeno. Ipak, vjeruje se kako je brod sada siguran te kako će ga biti moguće isprazniti bez posljedica. Cijeli proces potrajati će barem tri mjeseca.

Izuzetno je važno da se potonuli kruzer ne kreće po morskom dnu, jer leži na podvodnoj litici - samo nekoliko metara dalje nalazi se pravi ponor, koji bi nepovratno progutao brod.

Costa Cruises, tvrtka koja je vlasnik Costa Concordie, razmišljala je o popravku broda, ali čini se kako će nekadašnja ljepotica Mediterana svoj život završiti u rezalištu.

Ronioci koji pretražuju olupinu kruzera Costa Concordia moraju se probijati kroz labirintske hodnike potonulog broda kojem prijeti klizanje u morske dubine, a sada se pojavila i još jedna neugodnost - smrad tijela poginulih putnika, piše Daily Mail.

Kako navode spasioci, zrak unutar potonulog broda 'nije za disanje', a šef vatrogasaca Enio Aquilino ga je usporedio sa mirisom frižidera punog hrane koji ostavljen ugašen tjedan dana.

Unatoč teškim uvjetima rada, ronioci ipak postižu rezultate, makar nesretne - još dva tijela su pronađena u utrobi broda. Broj poginulih tako se popeo na 15 ljudi .

Tijela dvaju žena pronađena su u potopljenom dijelu broda, u internet cafeu. Ronioci su do njih došli tek nakon što se eksplozivima probio prolaz u taj dio strukture plovila.

Jedno od tijela je ono Marie D'Inorno (30), koja je bila na medenom mjesecu. U more je skočila sa svojim mužem Vincenzom Rosellijem. Držali su se za ruke dok su skakali. Vjeruje se kako se Maria konopima popela natrag u brod jer nije znala plivati i strahovito se bojala vode. Njen strah joj je zapečatio sudbinu.

Ronioci sada tragaju za 24 do 25 ljudi. Naime, broj putnika veći je nego što je bilo navedeno u brodskom manifestu. Ronioci su tako jučer pronašli tijelo jedne Mađarice koja nije bila prijavljena na brod.

Službeno, za sada se traga za 17 osoba - tijela dvoje žena spustila su tu brojku sa 19, što znači da je na Costa Concordii bilo barem osmero neregistriranih putnika.

Osim nestalih putnika, vlasti se moraju brinuti i zbog prijeteće ekološke katastrofe. Brod je prepun goriva - vjeruje se kako ga u utrobi leži barem 2200 tona - a u slučaju puknuća rezervoara djevičansko more otoka Giglia biti će zagađeno. Ipak, vjeruje se kako je brod sada siguran te kako će ga biti moguće isprazniti bez posljedica. Cijeli proces potrajati će barem tri mjeseca.

Izuzetno je važno da se potonuli kruzer ne kreće po morskom dnu, jer leži na podvodnoj litici - samo nekoliko metara dalje nalazi se pravi ponor, koji bi nepovratno progutao brod.

Costa Cruises, tvrtka koja je vlasnik Costa Concordie, razmišljala je o popravku broda, ali čini se kako će nekadašnja ljepotica Mediterana svoj život završiti u rezalištu.
