Slovačka odbacuje prijem Ukrajine u NATO savez i spremna je staviti veto na tu odluku ako bude potrebno, rekao je slovački premijer Robert Fico na javnom radiju RTVS u subotu.

Fico je rekao da će u srijedu otputovati u Ukrajinu kako bi se sastao sa svojim kolegom Denisom Šmihalom u pograničnom gradu Užgorodu.

I dok je jedan od razloga posjeta predstavljanje daljnjeg paketa pomoći Ukrajini, također želi dati do znanja da se slovačka pozicija razlikuje od ukrajinskih želja, rekao je premijer.

"Reći ću mu da ćemo blokirati i staviti veto na ukrajinski prijem u NATO, jer to ne bi bilo ništa drugo nego osnova za treći svjetski rat", rekao je Fico.

Slovačka, koja je postala NATO članica 2004. godine, bila je jedna od najgorljivijih zagovornica ukrajinske obrane protiv ruske invazije pokrenute u veljači 2022. godine.

Međutim, kad je ljevičarska nacionalistička vlada na čelu s Ficom došla na vlast u listopadu prošle godine, odlučila je da više neće isporučivati oružje Kijevu, iako Bratislava nastavlja slati sustave za razminiravanje i dizel generatore u slučaju ruskog napada na elektrane.

Fico je u subotu rekao da je Slovačka za ulazak Ukrajine u Europsku uniju, pod uvjetom da ispunjava iste uvjete kao i druge kandidatkinje.

Premijer, kojeg njegovi oponenti kritiziraju kao "proruskog", još jednom je naglasio da Slovačka više neće slati oružje iz svojih vojnih zaliha susjednoj zemlji, no da će i dalje dopuštati da slovačke obrambene kompanije prodaju oružje.

Neće biti zajedničke konferencije za medije nakon sastanka sa Šmihalom jer ju je ukrajinska strana odbila, rekao je Fico.

Slovačka odbacuje prijem Ukrajine u NATO savez i spremna je staviti veto na tu odluku ako bude potrebno, rekao je slovački premijer Robert Fico na javnom radiju RTVS u subotu.

Fico je rekao da će u srijedu otputovati u Ukrajinu kako bi se sastao sa svojim kolegom Denisom Šmihalom u pograničnom gradu Užgorodu.

I dok je jedan od razloga posjeta predstavljanje daljnjeg paketa pomoći Ukrajini, također želi dati do znanja da se slovačka pozicija razlikuje od ukrajinskih želja, rekao je premijer.

"Reći ću mu da ćemo blokirati i staviti veto na ukrajinski prijem u NATO, jer to ne bi bilo ništa drugo nego osnova za treći svjetski rat", rekao je Fico.

Slovačka, koja je postala NATO članica 2004. godine, bila je jedna od najgorljivijih zagovornica ukrajinske obrane protiv ruske invazije pokrenute u veljači 2022. godine.

Međutim, kad je ljevičarska nacionalistička vlada na čelu s Ficom došla na vlast u listopadu prošle godine, odlučila je da više neće isporučivati oružje Kijevu, iako Bratislava nastavlja slati sustave za razminiravanje i dizel generatore u slučaju ruskog napada na elektrane.

Fico je u subotu rekao da je Slovačka za ulazak Ukrajine u Europsku uniju, pod uvjetom da ispunjava iste uvjete kao i druge kandidatkinje.

Premijer, kojeg njegovi oponenti kritiziraju kao "proruskog", još jednom je naglasio da Slovačka više neće slati oružje iz svojih vojnih zaliha susjednoj zemlji, no da će i dalje dopuštati da slovačke obrambene kompanije prodaju oružje.

Premijer Slovačke Robert Fico: Blokirat ćemo ukrajinski prijem u NATO, jer bi to značilo samo jednu stvar

Slovačka odbacuje prijem Ukrajine u NATO savez i spremna je staviti veto na tu odluku ako bude potrebno, rekao je slovački premijer Robert Fico na javnom radiju RTVS u subotu.

Fico je rekao da će u srijedu otputovati u Ukrajinu kako bi se sastao sa svojim kolegom Denisom Šmihalom u pograničnom gradu Užgorodu.

I dok je jedan od razloga posjeta predstavljanje daljnjeg paketa pomoći Ukrajini, također želi dati do znanja da se slovačka pozicija razlikuje od ukrajinskih želja, rekao je premijer.

"Reći ću mu da ćemo blokirati i staviti veto na ukrajinski prijem u NATO, jer to ne bi bilo ništa drugo nego osnova za treći svjetski rat", rekao je Fico.

Slovačka, koja je postala NATO članica 2004. godine, bila je jedna od najgorljivijih zagovornica ukrajinske obrane protiv ruske invazije pokrenute u veljači 2022. godine.

Međutim, kad je ljevičarska nacionalistička vlada na čelu s Ficom došla na vlast u listopadu prošle godine, odlučila je da više neće isporučivati oružje Kijevu, iako Bratislava nastavlja slati sustave za razminiravanje i dizel generatore u slučaju ruskog napada na elektrane.

Fico je u subotu rekao da je Slovačka za ulazak Ukrajine u Europsku uniju, pod uvjetom da ispunjava iste uvjete kao i druge kandidatkinje.

Premijer, kojeg njegovi oponenti kritiziraju kao "proruskog", još jednom je naglasio da Slovačka više neće slati oružje iz svojih vojnih zaliha susjednoj zemlji, no da će i dalje dopuštati da slovačke obrambene kompanije prodaju oružje.
