Bolest za koju se smatra da ubija četiri od desetero ljudi prvi je put zabilježena u Francuskoj. Krpelji koji prenose krimsko-kongoansku hemoragičnu groznicu (CCHF) pronađeni su na granici sa Španjolskom. 

Ova opaka bolest je rođak ebole i specifična je za Afriku, Bliski istok, Aziju, ali i Balkan. Povremeno ju se zabilježi i u južnim dijelovima zapadne Europe, poput Španjolske.

Klimatske promjene

Stručnjaci već dugo upozoravaju da će klimatske promjene neizbježno gurnuti bolest u sjevernu Europu. Otkriveno je da su živi krpelji prikupljeni od goveda u regiji Pyrénées Orientales u Francuskoj, nositelji bolesti.

Dužnosnici Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije proglasili su CCHF jednom od svojih devet prioritetnih bolesti ranije ove godine zbog potencijalne prijetnje. CCHF se uglavnom prenosi na ljude ugrizom krpelja, ali moguće se zaraziti i kontaktom s tjelesnim tekućinama zaraženih pacijenata.

Bolest na početku ima slične simptome kao i ebola, uključujući bolove u mišićima, bolove u trbuhu, grlobolju i povraćanje, a može izazvati i krvarenje, obično iz nosa ili iz popucalih kapilara na očima i koži, javlja Daily Mail a prenosi Dnevnik.hr.

Ostali simptomi virusa, koji se javljaju iznenada, uključuju temperaturu, vrtoglavicu, bol i ukočenost vrata, bol u leđima, glavobolju, bol u očima i osjetljivost na svjetlo.

Cjepivo nije dostupno, umjesto toga liječenje je usmjereno na to da osobu održi na životu dovoljno dugo da se njezino tijelo izbori s infekcijom.

Otkriveni u Španjolskoj

Prethodne epidemije CCHF-a ubile su između 10 i 40 posto zaraženih, prema WHO-u. Krpelji s CCHF prvi su put otkriveni u Španjolskoj 2010. godine. U kolovozu ove godine Europski nadzornik bolesti izvijestio je o dva slučaja CCHF-a u Sjevernoj Makedoniji, od kojih je jedan bio smrtonosan.

Prvi smrtni slučaj dogodio se krajem srpnja kod poljoprivrednog radnika koji je prijavio da ga je ugrizao krpelj. Drugi slučaj pojavio se u zdravstvenoj ustanovi koja je isprva liječila muškarca, a zatim su se simptomi razvili 8. kolovoza.

CCHF se uglavnom prenosi na ljude putem ugriza krpelja Hyalomma marginatum. Ovaj krpelj je veličine oko 5 mm i ima dvije obojene noge s bjelkastim prstenovima na zglobovima.

Bolest za koju se smatra da ubija četiri od desetero ljudi prvi je put zabilježena u Francuskoj. Krpelji koji prenose krimsko-kongoansku hemoragičnu groznicu (CCHF) pronađeni su na granici sa Španjolskom. 

Ova opaka bolest je rođak ebole i specifična je za Afriku, Bliski istok, Aziju, ali i Balkan. Povremeno ju se zabilježi i u južnim dijelovima zapadne Europe, poput Španjolske.

Klimatske promjene

Stručnjaci već dugo upozoravaju da će klimatske promjene neizbježno gurnuti bolest u sjevernu Europu. Otkriveno je da su živi krpelji prikupljeni od goveda u regiji Pyrénées Orientales u Francuskoj, nositelji bolesti.

Dužnosnici Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije proglasili su CCHF jednom od svojih devet prioritetnih bolesti ranije ove godine zbog potencijalne prijetnje. CCHF se uglavnom prenosi na ljude ugrizom krpelja, ali moguće se zaraziti i kontaktom s tjelesnim tekućinama zaraženih pacijenata.

Bolest na početku ima slične simptome kao i ebola, uključujući bolove u mišićima, bolove u trbuhu, grlobolju i povraćanje, a može izazvati i krvarenje, obično iz nosa ili iz popucalih kapilara na očima i koži, javlja Daily Mail a prenosi Dnevnik.hr.

Ostali simptomi virusa, koji se javljaju iznenada, uključuju temperaturu, vrtoglavicu, bol i ukočenost vrata, bol u leđima, glavobolju, bol u očima i osjetljivost na svjetlo.

Cjepivo nije dostupno, umjesto toga liječenje je usmjereno na to da osobu održi na životu dovoljno dugo da se njezino tijelo izbori s infekcijom.

Otkriveni u Španjolskoj

Prethodne epidemije CCHF-a ubile su između 10 i 40 posto zaraženih, prema WHO-u. Krpelji s CCHF prvi su put otkriveni u Španjolskoj 2010. godine. U kolovozu ove godine Europski nadzornik bolesti izvijestio je o dva slučaja CCHF-a u Sjevernoj Makedoniji, od kojih je jedan bio smrtonosan.

Prvi smrtni slučaj dogodio se krajem srpnja kod poljoprivrednog radnika koji je prijavio da ga je ugrizao krpelj. Drugi slučaj pojavio se u zdravstvenoj ustanovi koja je isprva liječila muškarca, a zatim su se simptomi razvili 8. kolovoza.

Bolest za koju se smatra da ubija četiri od desetero ljudi prvi je put zabilježena u Francuskoj. Krpelji koji prenose krimsko-kongoansku hemoragičnu groznicu (CCHF) pronađeni su na granici sa Španjolskom. 

Ova opaka bolest je rođak ebole i specifična je za Afriku, Bliski istok, Aziju, ali i Balkan. Povremeno ju se zabilježi i u južnim dijelovima zapadne Europe, poput Španjolske.

Klimatske promjene

Stručnjaci već dugo upozoravaju da će klimatske promjene neizbježno gurnuti bolest u sjevernu Europu. Otkriveno je da su živi krpelji prikupljeni od goveda u regiji Pyrénées Orientales u Francuskoj, nositelji bolesti.

Dužnosnici Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije proglasili su CCHF jednom od svojih devet prioritetnih bolesti ranije ove godine zbog potencijalne prijetnje. CCHF se uglavnom prenosi na ljude ugrizom krpelja, ali moguće se zaraziti i kontaktom s tjelesnim tekućinama zaraženih pacijenata.

Bolest na početku ima slične simptome kao i ebola, uključujući bolove u mišićima, bolove u trbuhu, grlobolju i povraćanje, a može izazvati i krvarenje, obično iz nosa ili iz popucalih kapilara na očima i koži, javlja Daily Mail a prenosi Dnevnik.hr.

Ostali simptomi virusa, koji se javljaju iznenada, uključuju temperaturu, vrtoglavicu, bol i ukočenost vrata, bol u leđima, glavobolju, bol u očima i osjetljivost na svjetlo.

Cjepivo nije dostupno, umjesto toga liječenje je usmjereno na to da osobu održi na životu dovoljno dugo da se njezino tijelo izbori s infekcijom.

Otkriveni u Španjolskoj

Prethodne epidemije CCHF-a ubile su između 10 i 40 posto zaraženih, prema WHO-u. Krpelji s CCHF prvi su put otkriveni u Španjolskoj 2010. godine. U kolovozu ove godine Europski nadzornik bolesti izvijestio je o dva slučaja CCHF-a u Sjevernoj Makedoniji, od kojih je jedan bio smrtonosan.

Prvi smrtni slučaj dogodio se krajem srpnja kod poljoprivrednog radnika koji je prijavio da ga je ugrizao krpelj. Drugi slučaj pojavio se u zdravstvenoj ustanovi koja je isprva liječila muškarca, a zatim su se simptomi razvili 8. kolovoza.
