Ovog vikenda po prvi put objavljena je snimka koja prikazuje trenutak iz 2017. godine kada se američki višenamjenski vojni zrakoplov MV-22 Osprey - koji može poletjeti i sletjeti vertikalno poput helikoptera - srušio preko bočne strane američkog ratnog broda usmrtivši pritom tri marinca, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Isječak prikazuje sofisticiranu letjelicu kako pokušava sletjeti na palubu američkog Green Baya na obali australskog Queenslanda 5. kolovoza 2017., no ne uspijeva, već neočekivano pada. Voda se probila kroz rupu u kokpitu te preplavila unutrašnjost helikoptera koji je ubrzo potonuo.

Stradali su pritom prvi poručnik Benjamin Cross (26) iz Oxforda u Maineu, kapetan Nathaniel Ordway (21) iz Sedgwicka u Kansasu i razvodnik Ruben Velasco (19) iz Los Angelesa čija su tijela pronađena nakon 12-satne potrage.

Ostala 23 marinca koji su bili u helikopteru u trenutku sudara su spašeni.

Istraga Pentagona kasnije je zaključila da su tehnički problemi uzrokovali pad. Osprey se, navodi se u izvješću o nesreći, srušio nakon što se suočio s nepravilnim opstrujavanjem zraka ispod propelera, odnosno rotora, što je uzrokovalo nedovoljan potisak za sigurno slijetanje kao i da je maksimalna poletna masa zrakoplova možda bila veća od dozvoljene.

Vojni dužnosnici rekli su da nitko nije kriv za nesreću i da su trojica poginulih mladih marinaca stradali na dužnosti.

Prema izvješću, pilot zrakoplova pokušao je smanjiti brzinu vertikalnog spuštanja no pokušaj spašavanja letjelice nije uspio. Osprey je udario u palubu Green Baya, oštetivši obližnji helikopter i čelično stubište prije nego što je pao u Pacifik.

Prošlog mjeseca pet marinaca je poginulo kada se još jedan Osprey srušio u kalifornijskoj pustinji, što je izazvalo još više strahova za sigurnost zbog serije helikoptera pogođenih skandalom.

Naime, od prvog leta 1989. godine je u nesrećama vezanim za Osprey poginuo ukupno 51 vojnik.

Ovog vikenda po prvi put objavljena je snimka koja prikazuje trenutak iz 2017. godine kada se američki višenamjenski vojni zrakoplov MV-22 Osprey - koji može poletjeti i sletjeti vertikalno poput helikoptera - srušio preko bočne strane američkog ratnog broda usmrtivši pritom tri marinca, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Isječak prikazuje sofisticiranu letjelicu kako pokušava sletjeti na palubu američkog Green Baya na obali australskog Queenslanda 5. kolovoza 2017., no ne uspijeva, već neočekivano pada. Voda se probila kroz rupu u kokpitu te preplavila unutrašnjost helikoptera koji je ubrzo potonuo.

Stradali su pritom prvi poručnik Benjamin Cross (26) iz Oxforda u Maineu, kapetan Nathaniel Ordway (21) iz Sedgwicka u Kansasu i razvodnik Ruben Velasco (19) iz Los Angelesa čija su tijela pronađena nakon 12-satne potrage.

Ostala 23 marinca koji su bili u helikopteru u trenutku sudara su spašeni.

Istraga Pentagona kasnije je zaključila da su tehnički problemi uzrokovali pad. Osprey se, navodi se u izvješću o nesreći, srušio nakon što se suočio s nepravilnim opstrujavanjem zraka ispod propelera, odnosno rotora, što je uzrokovalo nedovoljan potisak za sigurno slijetanje kao i da je maksimalna poletna masa zrakoplova možda bila veća od dozvoljene.

Vojni dužnosnici rekli su da nitko nije kriv za nesreću i da su trojica poginulih mladih marinaca stradali na dužnosti.

Prema izvješću, pilot zrakoplova pokušao je smanjiti brzinu vertikalnog spuštanja no pokušaj spašavanja letjelice nije uspio. Osprey je udario u palubu Green Baya, oštetivši obližnji helikopter i čelično stubište prije nego što je pao u Pacifik.

Prošlog mjeseca pet marinaca je poginulo kada se još jedan Osprey srušio u kalifornijskoj pustinji, što je izazvalo još više strahova za sigurnost zbog serije helikoptera pogođenih skandalom.

Naime, od prvog leta 1989. godine je u nesrećama vezanim za Osprey poginuo ukupno 51 vojnik.

Pet godina nakon nesreće pojavila se snimka strašnog pada sofisticirane američke vojne letjelice

Ovog vikenda po prvi put objavljena je snimka koja prikazuje trenutak iz 2017. godine kada se američki višenamjenski vojni zrakoplov MV-22 Osprey - koji može poletjeti i sletjeti vertikalno poput helikoptera - srušio preko bočne strane američkog ratnog broda usmrtivši pritom tri marinca, prenosi Jutarnji list.

Isječak prikazuje sofisticiranu letjelicu kako pokušava sletjeti na palubu američkog Green Baya na obali australskog Queenslanda 5. kolovoza 2017., no ne uspijeva, već neočekivano pada. Voda se probila kroz rupu u kokpitu te preplavila unutrašnjost helikoptera koji je ubrzo potonuo.
